I had the exact same problem. I wasn't sure what mod caused the problem, but I didn't have alternative start. But regardless I fixed it! (Thank you jjb54!) 1. check the state of these getstage tg00 = 200 getsgate tg01 = 200 getstage tg02 = 200 (I had already finished this quest) Go to Ragged Flaggon setstage tg02 0 (Reset quest tg02 (Loud and clear)) Follow Brynjolf into the Cistern. After Brynjolf and Mercer are in the center of the cistern. setstage tg02 200 (to complete (Loud and clear)) And boom. Worked for me. Hopefully it will work for others.

Go to an earlier save and see if the problem persists. Because that's what I imagine vampirism would look like with an ENB. Did you check if you caught vampirism?

Thanks for the response. I will try that. I am also thinking that I could be running out of VRAM, hence why when switching to new areas it hits the limit and burns. I've run a texture optimizer (bringing all my 2048x2048 textures down to 1024x1024) hopefully that helps. Will try what you said after :smile: EDIT: Did a two hour play test saving, playing saving, quicksaving, playing, loading etc. No crashes. It appears that the VRAM limit was my problem. Mods can close.

I am having occasional CTD while loading. You are currently using a 775 socket and its not dead look for an i5 2500k and h61 chipset or better Which one is not dead? The 775 is dead isn't it? and the 1155 is on its way, it's getting pretty old now, and I think this year is the last year for a processor on that socket? Am i completely wrong here? :) I will take a look for that i5 though. I'll see what my dad has available to him :) Thanks for the answers guys!

Alright guys and gals It's time for me to upgrade my computer, only problem is, I don't know what to choose. My budget is around $400. BUT my dad is a computer wholesaler, so I get my parts cheaper then newegg. I only have a 32bit OS. So I would have to upgrade to fully utilize all the ram in either one of these machines. Should I go with an i5-3570 + 4gb ram + Mobo. or an FX-4300 or FX-6300 or FX-6100 + 8gb Ram + Mobo + win8 64bit. Both solutions would cost around $400, with the intel costing a bit more. My current specs CPU: Core2Quad q6600 @ 2.4ghz MOBO: Asus P5ql Pro RAM: 4gb GPU: Asus GTX 550ti OC @ 1060hz My main question is what is going to offer me the most performance boost? the AMD build or the Intel build. If I go with AMD I will be upgrading my CPU when steamroller is released, and I know that with the i5 the LGA1155 is now a dead board. I am also going to be upgrading my GPU soon, as this is just the beginning of my upgrade. I really only play heavily modded Skyrim (only game I really play). I also use photoshop, Unity3D, and others. What would you do? Oh, please, please, please do not let this descend into an AMD vs Intel fanboy war.

One thing I never understood in skyrim was how I, could learn legendary smithing in a "year", making better items then the fabled Eorlund Greymane! This mod idea is to make everything Eorlund sells in his shop "Legendary" quality. Reason being I find it very unrealistic that I can buy something from him then be able to upgrade it. To all the modders, is this possible? Will someone do it? or at least tell me how to do it?

Okay guys, so I have finally bought Fallout 3. However I want to mod it before I start to play it. I am no stranger to modding (played over 150 hours on a heavily heavily modded Skyrim), But I want to know, does anybody have a modlist I could use? or better yet, recommend some must have mod (PS I love realism).
