In response to post #28651299. #28652059, #28661619 are all replies on the same post. "Nobody's mind is ever changed." I disagree. Mine has changed. And I guess the one of many. The problem I see in this world is that too many are quick to criticize and too few to show appreciation. This is something I had to realize for myself, too, because you have to look beyond the border of what you see as granted. The way via donation was existent on the Nexus but I never thought much about it. It's similar to the endorsements. If Nexus didn't remind me to give them I would forget it all the time. I was one culprit who wished for a more prominent system that is still kind enough to not pierce the user's eye ... a difficult task, and I appreciate the Nexus for asking our opinion and ideas. PS: As far as I know donating already is completely anonymous.

In response to post #28696634. #28698309 is also a reply to the same post. @MrJoseCuervo Then you have an unfair system like in the music industry, where more or less exactly this system is already executed. That means if Justin Bieber and Eminem are well known and get the big stages, my money goes to them instead of the small irish folk band I intended it to go to. It makes the big ones grow and leaves the small ones with nothing. I researched about the system in university and didn't manage to find a single positive point about it. Nice idea, but in result unjust. :/

"I'm kind of surprised so many ladies are bothered by the nude/semi nude mods here. Here we are, killing things in this game, kill cams and dismemberment but heaven forbid someone post boob mods?" Nude doesn't bother me. Skimpiness does. Many females pay attention to style and sense of fashion. So if you have a nice armor and just cut out the crotch area and tights, it may attract a male, but is otherwise completely senseless and not aesthetically pleasing anymore. It just looks like they forgot to put on their trousers. This makes me really sad because skimpiness for its own sake ruins some good designs. I'd also like a tag that you just can hide it in the search. Saves much time.

LE Simple pants (for making skimpy armors modest)
Lamproly replied to Lamproly's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hey, thank you for all the answers :D The major problems with trousers from mods like what to wear, vanilla combination or zzjay are that they produce clipping or use the "trousers" slot, at least the one that is commonly used for that. Latter will be a problem if armors have "trousers" like stockings which use the same slot. The bodysuits cover more than I want and ... don't look so well without proper bump mapping. The Pantyhose one looks like it might do the job. I will try it out :) -
I'm enraged by the fact that there are so many beautiful armors out there with one major deficit. The pants are missing! Everything is fine except the region around the upper thights. Beside the incompatibility with a more realistic down-to-earth playstyle - concerning design it's just ugly. So, what I need are some simple pants, very tight, so that they don't clip. Or ... just textured legs. Just something to cover up this region. For someone who already made an armor this should be very simple. When I'm more experienced I'd try it, but meanwhile I wanted to throw this out here, maybe someone else with more time sees it and thinks: "Oh yeah, I need that too, I'll make it!" ^^

LE Immersively getting rid of corpses in a lightweight way
Lamproly posted a topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
So there are these corpses. You want to get rid of them, but in an immersive way. So far I've seen these possibilities on the nexus: A corpse disintegration spell (from the Collision Fix Mod). Bury the dead. Abandoned since 2012, still a few bugs. Ongoing scripts. Clean up your corpses. Far from lightweight. Nothing more to say. Now with a lot of scripted mods, script lag and corrupted save games I started to appreciate simplicity and thought of a way to get rid of the corpses but still have the feeling of satisfaction. Then I saw these animations of Familiar Faces and Clean up your corpses where the "soul ascends to heaven". This one combined with the disintegration spell mentioned before would get rid of the corpses and give the nice feeling of sending the soul to Sovngarde while not having any ongoing scripts in the game. Now ... This is currently beyond my abilities of modding. If someone wants to pick up this idea, perfect! If someone knows how to implement these animations and is willing to help me, I will dare to dive deeper into the CK. Any information will be much appreciated. Greetings, Lydia -
I second that! Even more ambitious: Add a sorting system to choose from "time added", "alphabetically" and "category". A question also: Is it possible to track the posts you made? The section in the profile seems to keep only a few posts. I lose track all the time and have to save the links somewhere else to regularly check if I got answers ... Is there any good workaround or am I just blind? ^^

Drawing a line under recent events and moving on

In response to post #24871504. #24871889, #24872029, #24872299, #24872914 are all replies on the same post. If I understand you right, macintroll, I don't think a system like that would leave grateful users. The ads in videos are - again - a huge turn-off and I only don't notice them because of adblock. And that's the reason why I turn off adblock on the nexus site, because the ads there aren't distracting or annoying me as much and I can still browse the site freely. -

I agree with the Donation Button being not apparent enough. There is a reminder for endorsments, which is nice, I'd love to have this for donation as well (or did I overlook it?). I'd like to donate more often, even if just a little bit (because of studying with no income), but often simply forget it. Also I did not know that modders should not "beg for money" in the description because I've seen this a couple of times and it always was a huge turn-off. But it's maybe a hint that indeed the Nexus should make the donation function more convenient and apparent, which - I'm glad to hear - you plan to do. Thank you for the links to the interviews! It's a relief to hear such awesome people like you speak this reasonable and picture how probably a big part of this community feels about the topic. -
Hey hello, I try to modify the speed (running and walking speed) of mounts. Modifying the Speed under the "Stats"-Tab did slow them down, but caused them to jog trot instead of galloping, plus you can't modify walking and running speed differently. Modifying the Movement Types worked for the ones which already had a Movement Type assigned. However, it slows down the animation, so that it looks like running in slow-motion, a bit "sliding" over the floor (because timing and spacing doesn't really fit). Other mounts (also the normal vanilla horses) did not have any Movement Type assigned to their "Base Movement Defaults". Adding Movement types to them changed nothing. I wonder where they get their movement data from? o.O So ... I have the feeling that I miss something important but cannot see, what. Greetings, Lydia
