  1. Update: I managed to partially fix the issue by significantly reducing the number of popups by disabling a bunch of the corresponding extensions but I still have some coming up for Skyrim probably because it's still being managed. I can't seem to get Vortex to unmanage it because it apparently has to clear out the mod directory before it can but it can't because the HDD that they were all on no longer exists. I didn't anticipate on that being an issue.
  2. Thank you for the possible solution! How could I do that? I perused Vortex's directory and didn't find any obvious log files that I could edit.
  3. I'm running Vortex 1.5.10 updated as of 4/7/2022. I thought so too when I read the update notes for this latest version and some of the bug fixes seemed to resemble the issue I'm having but I still have it. Idk if my specific issue has just never been addressed before because it is looking like Vortex currently doesn't have a fix for this. If we can't find a fix, maybe this can be feedback for a future update or patch?
  4. Here's an example of what I'm seeing for games that are not managed but for some reason have locations set for them with no apparent option to delete.
  5. Changing the drive path would cause more issues than solve at this point and part of the problem is that I don't even have some of those games anymore because I also deleted a bunch of old games I don't play anymore such as Sims 4. I removed Witcher 2 by simply selecting "stop managing" under the games tab. As for some other games like Sims 4 it never managed but for some reason it has a location set for it in my old D: drive that I can't find an option to delete or forget.
  6. Whenever I launch Vortex it apparently does a quick scan for mod folders which is fine and probably necessary, but it ends up popping up several annoying error messages every time. I recently swapped out hard drives so I no longer have my D: drive with the new one being referred to as the F: drive which was necessary for the phasing out period of the old one (I upgraded my secondary HDD to a SSD). Now, Vortex seems to be confused every time I launch it insisting on searching for the old game folders I had in D: drive and I can't figure out how to get it to stop. It's not a serious issue as it still works but it is just a nuisance that I have to close nearly a dozen error messages which also causes Vortex's startup to take a lot longer than it should. How do I get Vortex to stop searching for folders on a now non-existent drive? There are two different error messages. Capture1 shows the first one followed by about a dozen versions of the Capture2 message for different game folders Vortex apparently tries to find and obviously fails since the drive no longer exists. I've tried selecting both "cancel" and "ignore", and they both seem to have the same result of just closing the window but with it coming up again the next time I launch it.
  7. Just a reminder that I am still having this issue. Please reply back.

  10. I have been trying to find out how to successfully change the outfits for the NPCs specifically Bernard and Robard to change their armor. I have tried changing the item codes for their presets in the game's files according to some instructions I've managed to find online but nothing has worked (I never crashed or broke the game either--just nothing happens). Does anybody know a better way to do this or could maybe just make a mod for it? I can't be the only player who has been bothered by how accomplished knights like Robard and Bernard don't have more complete plate and mail armor. I mean, seriously, they are almost ridiculously outmatched in gear compared to many bandits! You'd think Bernard could at least afford some mail leggings and why doesn't Robard have any mail on other than a little mantle? It doesn't make any sense!! Can someone please help provide some detailed instructions or suggestions on how this can be done so it will work and hopefully clarify what I have apparently been missing?

  12. I have gone through several different tutorials on how to do this. I'm specifically trying to edit Robard's and Bernard's outfits. As far as I know I have edited the appropriate presets in the armor2clothing_preset.xml in both the regular Libs folder and the Tables.pak file to make sure all bases are covered. I spent hours on this and their outfits never changed to what I edited them to. Is there something I'm missing or is there a better way to do it? I don't want to mess with the official Cryengine Sandbox editor tools. references: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6424756-tutorial-editing-characters/ https://forum.kingdomcomerpg.com/t/how-to-change-npc-armors/67108
  13. Please refer to my older post about this topic for other details: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/8742063-sword-belts/&do=findComment&comment=81288508. Basically, I am trying to draw more attention to a common complaint with KCD where the belt on waffenrocks when you add an armor layer disappears which makes a very annoying aesthetic appearance to the waffenrock. It also just looks dumb when you have a weapon just magically floating next to you without even a belt to make it look at least tolerable. I am just asking if it is possible to make an unofficial patch or mod to fix this issue and, if it is, why hasn't anybody yet!? There are plenty of skilled modders in the KCD community and it is puzzling how no one has come up with this as there are also no lack of people asking for it on reddit and the KCD forum. I would also ask, while you are at it, to please see if it also possible to include a complete sword belt like Sir Divish or Radzig has for Henry and other NPCs too if possible. Thank you to whoever wants to take on what I am sure may not be an easy modding task.
  14. I have found this issue discussed in other forums including the Kingdomcomerpg forums that there is an annoying lack of sword belts in Kingdom Come Deliverance and I am frankly quite surprised this hasn't been brought up on Nexus or just already addressed with a mod unless there is a technical issue in the way. The major character NPCs such as Radzig and Divish have proper sword belts clearly holding up their swords while Henry, the main character, has a his weapon just magically floating next to his hip. Even the other NPCs at least typically have simple belts over their waffenrocks and such but for some reason Henry doesn't even have that much of the time which I'm sure is a bug. I am assuming (granted, I'm not a skilled Kingdom Come modder) that this could be fixed relatively easily with a mod. I am hoping this could be fixed with a mod or unofficial patch so please somebody come and fix this issue!
