  1. So I decided to finally start Skyrim SE, and man do I feel like I should of never tired it. I ran the game. worked. I installed mods and SKSE Crashed. played around with a few things Crashed. so I disabled ALL of my mods except the core game ones.. ran SKSE and.. you guessed it, Crashed. Turned EVERYTHING back on. Ran it WITHOUT SKSE and got a lot of errors for mods... but hey guess it it worked. So how do I fix this?
  2. Don't ask me why I didn't think of this earlier but since I did a re-install I didn't re-run the Validating steam files... so I did and I keep getting 1 Files failed to validate and will be reacquired... had this before I re-installed NO idea why I didn't think to run it again after that.
  3. Alright tried everything above and nothing worked. New question though when I went to Change my 3D settings it was already set for let application decide. so Is there a flip side to that or is that the best setup?
  4. Yea I'll try that stuff sadly I'm at work but yes I did try the audio test
  5. Installed 2010 x64, deleted NV folder, and double checked that I removed D3d9, ran game as auto detect and still nothing. :(
  6. Before I posted on here I tried to ran just the vanilla and it still crashed. SO I gotta find 2010 64 but not sure I understand what I need to do about the default x86

  8. Bought the game when it first came out ran perfectly fine on my old laptop before it died. I've ran ll my win updates that I know of haven't had this laptop more than a week. and no visual stuff installed
  9. SO I've been sitting here messing with this for about 4 hours now and its driving me crazy! I recently bought a new Laptop system specs below. I re-installed FONV earlier today and modded it when I went to play the game it crashed after OI selected "new" game the video started (will completely play) the loading screen comes up and spins and about the point where it goes to load the part with Doc it crashes before it gets off the loading screen. So I turned off all the mods except the main file and the DLC content and it still crashed, again i turned off everything except the main file and still... it crashed. I've re-installed the game, updated my graphic drivers, backed up the game, tried compatibility mode, admin mode (both at the same time), and also downloaded the file here on the Nexus d3d9.dll and nothing works. I've checked online and haven't found any solutions that anybody has come up with so I'm asking if anybody here can help save me from my impending insanity. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 5/12/2012, 01:59:42 Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120330-1504) System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
