I have the same problem as the original poster. Vortex is not scanning for new games, at least not Starfield. The rather inane suggestion to search for or just look at the list of games obviously doesn't work. They are not on the list. Finally was able to install by going to the Nexusmods Starfield web page Starfield at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods and manually downloading and installing it. i.e. Extract the 7z archive to %appdata%\Vortex\plugins\Starfield. The Vortex install options, both within the Vortex app and from the website, do not work. Was this version of Vortex even tested?
