  1. Well, not necessarily exactly what the title says, but is there a mod that will knock you out first? (Like Death Alternative, where the player goes down first and has to wait for their follower to revive them) I'm not exactly the best Skyrim player, and I can't seem to find a balance where I feel too overpowered because of my gear (at roughly Expert Difficulty and below) and if I go to Master or Legendary, I can easily be one or two shot to death. I don't have a billion potions, nor do I want to spawn them in the console, but I would much rather like a mod where it knocks me out instead of having to go through a loading screen over and over again after dying to an ancient dragon, or a draugr deathlord. I like that feature of Death Alternative, but I don't like getting robbed or having to do a seperate quest to get my stuff back. At most times when I had the mod installed, I would become enslaved, robbed, and one time I got left for dead in the middle of the road, naked, with nothing but a College of Winterhold member to help me out. I just want the first part of Death Alternative, where you don't immediately die when your health reaches zero. Just something to make the game slightly more enjoyable, instead of frustratingly giving up after dying so many times. Death Alternative doesn't help either, since I don't want to spend the next half an hour or so looking for the guy that stole my stuff, if they still even have it. If not, then there goes my armor that I worked so hard to get. Anyway, Is there a mod like that? If not, I'd like this post to be transferred to the mod request section.
  2. If you want to make Skyrim Vanilla again, here's a guide I used and it worked perfectly. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again
  3. Where do I locate Data\Interface for MO so I can install Categorized Favorites Menu? I need to put the .cfg and .swf in there so I can install Customized Categorized Favorites Menu as well. In order for that to happen, the .cfg needs to be installed and overwritten. Where do I find this?
  4. I have a problem with Mod Organizer where the game would boot up and it would say bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 is not set. I did set it as that in the skyrimprefs.ini under C:\Users\Me\Documents\My Games\skyrim, and I also set it as that under C:\Program Files (x86)\Mod Organizer\profiles\Default. However, another part of this problem is now I have duplicates of skyrimprefs.ini. My question is, which one do I keep, and other than the obvious reason to set bFloatPointRenderTarget as 1, how do I make this red message go away?
  5. I'm gonna be honest and straight out to the point. There are a LOT of good mods out there, and I really like them, and appreciate that they're on nexus, but honestly this hosting business is so bad. I've had no problems loading any other site, other than this almost instantaneously. This site keeps logging me out whenever I try downloading a mod, doesn't download, servers keep going down, site keeps going down for maintenance, NMM almost rarely logs me in (or I get fed up and use it in offline mode), NMM isn't able to download anything, and I have to manually add .rar files to NMM for installation, and so many more issues that I'm sick and tired of it. Please fix this. I wont say I'm leaving this site because the host is bad, because I love the mods and most Skyrim mods are in here, but please for the love of god fix this broken site. I'm disgusted every day by this site to see "Error 502, timed out" or "Site down for maintenance, please wait a couple minutes". There's literally no point in waiting since it's going to go down again anyway. It's frustrating to see this site not able to load anything when I have good results on the speedtest. I'm not hating on the modders, I love mods, and continue to get/use them. I hate this site for being so damn broken.
  6. So I just bought Skyrim, booted it up, and stopped playing right before you get to make your character. I downloaded NMM, put it outside Program Files, and run it as Admin. NMM looks like it works fine, but whenever I press "download with NMM" on a mod I want, nothing happens. NMM doesn't pop up, and nothing pops up on the screen either. I tried this on multiple mods and none of them seem to allow me to download. Please help :(
