In Vortex select the game for which you want to restore the default categories. Then go to Mods > Categories > Retrieve Categories.

Witcher 3 has no plugins, ergo, no plugins tab.

AugustaCalidia's post in Vortex wont connect with Nexus was marked as the answer
Currently I have the same login problem. It usually goes away on its own. It may be the result of increased site traffic as people fire up their Steam Christmas gifts.

AugustaCalidia's post in Unable to Add Games / Missing Supported Tab was marked as the answer
There is not a separate "Supported" tab. Supported games include "Managed" and "Unmanaged" exclusively.
Halo:MCC is not supported by Vortex and therefore not included in the "Unmanaged" group.

Follow the instructions, which are to update the mods in question so that they will work with the version of SKSE64 that you're using.

AugustaCalidia's post in "Your Vortex installation has been corrupted... Reinstall it." was marked as the answer
Two points:
1. When you uninstall Vortex, you install nothing but Vortex, unless you've made the egregious mistake of placing your downloads folder and/or mod staging folder in the Vortex program folder itself.
2. However, you don't actually even need to uninstall your current Vortex installation. Simply install over it.

AugustaCalidia's post in Vortex code execution can't proceed was marked as the answer
Reinstalling Vortex will not uninstall your mods. Vortex by default installs game archives and mods in the AppData folder outside of the Vortex installation folder.

"Mortal Enemies SE" does not have a fomod installer. Therefore there's no fomod menu.

AugustaCalidia's post in Diamond City Expansion BUG was marked as the answer
There's no need to disable auto-sort and go to LOOT to adjust the load order for this plugin so that it's absolutely last. In Vortex simply assign the plugin to the group "Dynamic Patches," which is the late loading group for Fallout 4, and then sort. If there are any other plugins in that group, then make "load after" rules. Otherwise, you're good to go. That's what I have done, and the mod works as intended.
Finally, you absolutely need to clean the mod plugin with FO4Edit.

AugustaCalidia's post in How do you "uninstall all active mods" in Vortex? was marked as the answer
Go to the Mods page, click on a blank space beside any mod, and press Ctrl + A (a standard Windows function). That will select all of your mods and open a taskbar at the bottom of the page. Press "Remove."

AugustaCalidia's post in Can't login to Vortex was marked as the answer
Everyone with this login problem, open Vortex and try to login. If you receive a "failed to update" message, exit Vortex and then restart it. Vortex should restart and be logged in. This has worked for several users, including myself. The problem appears to be a temporary glitch in connecting to some server out there in serverland.

Have you installed the prerequisite mods for UCO and configured load order as the mod author recommends?

AugustaCalidia's post in How to use mod translation with Vortex? was marked as the answer
Well, you're right. It's not that easy. Since I don't use translation mods, I just assumed a German translation .esp would show up in the plugins list and that the English .esp could be easily disabled. Wrong!
I've now done some testing, using Immersive Armors and the German translation mod. My conclusion is that you need to revisit your conflict rules (click on "Manage Rules" at the top of the mods page) and set a "load after" rule for each of your German translation mods. Then save, deploy, and sort. Your list of redundant mods should disappear, and you should now have active German translations in your game.
Here's a picture showing how I resolved the file conflict in Immersive Armors:
The "1 conflicting file" is, of course, the .esp and not any of the meshes and textures.
I hope this helps.

AugustaCalidia's post in Resetting Vortex was marked as the answer
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex
Delete the "Vortex" folder. You may also want to check your "My Games" folder in Documents to see if anything there needs to be deleted. Reinstall Vortex.
