I know that fallout 4 is one of bethesda's shittier products, but its kind of ridiculous that I can't select 3840x2160 for windowed (the game just freezes if I go full screen, at the press any key part, and sound continues but the image will freeze on screen, working as intended). yes I've tried changing iwidth/height in the .ini is there like some mod or secret .ini to get this s#*! to work like a modern game?

Well for all the snarky "lol mod noob" commenters, the issue was the hard drive itself being 7500 RPM. I changed it to the other drive and the issue disappeared, at 60 fps with 3 second load times

Issue turned out to be a 7200 RPM hard drive. Not a mod quanityt or mod order list. I put it on my other HD and now it runs fine at 60 fps and loads in 3 seconds.

yeah I've been trying to done down animations, and low level saves. It seems to be rooted in the hard drive, wihch is a SSD but is stuck at 100% usage, bottelnecking

my point is I don't understand any of that in relation to each other, even if I understand indiviidual acronyms. I have a corsair. I don't know anything about SATA cables, so I posted msinfo, dxdiag, and speccy logs to provide that sort of info, because I myself don't understand it well enough to answer. I've been using mods for awhile. But something is clearly wrong with a setting somewhere, since all of thse ought to be compatible. If you have something concrete about what should go where, I'm all ears. For now I'm just disabling quissip and its working slightly better. I can't do anything with a simple "its in the wrong order."

I'm trying to find someone who's tech savvy enough to give me concise directions on what memory settings etc to use for my setup. Like do I need to change the virtual memory? Right now everything on the D drive is going at a snail's pace and there's no logical reason why.

if I ever get it to load again I'm just going to disable QUISSIP altogether. Vortex doesn't have a convenient way for sorting those things, when you have literally hundreds of plugins (because of differences in naming conventions you may be scrolling a long time, just to misclick and have to start over. I'm not doing that for dozens of mods. I'll just start uninstalling if I have to.

Well now that vortex wont' even launch anymore I guess that's that. Skyrim just gets to be unplayable I guess

I don't know which one is out of order. I use Vortex, and loot to check for patches. Since vortex woon't let me change their priority, I just leave them as is. I might just uninstall them all if its going to be game breaking. updating ENB did nothing, on minute 10 of loading my saved game right now.
