  1. Howdy folks. Could you please help me out with this one issue I am having? I am following this guide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373/? to work on my new install, and everything has worked out so far, but I am having a distance detail issue with SFO. The trees look wrong at a much closer distance than I feel comfortable with and will ''grow and spring out'' when I get close enough, I have used the billboards to create the LODs but it does not seem to work and the issue is still present while it wasn't in my previous installation. Here is the IMGUR link to the screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/4KChA This is happening everywhere and as you can see it happens way too close to the trees, so it is very distracting. Could it just be a uGridstoload setting? Thanks for all the help!
  2. Okay, to anyone who may have some degree of interest in this issue. I found out that Wyrmstooth causes this issue. Basically.. the quest starts at Level 10 when Theodyne or whatever tracks you down, you then go talk to Liore and the issue so far comes up if: If you do not go talk to Liore at whiterun, you will eventually have save crashes. If you talk to Liore and leave the quest at the point where you go look for the other party members but never complete the task, you will eventually have save crashes. The issue was persistent until I continued with the quest, no more saving SNAFUs and stability went back to normal.
  3. You computer can barely run skyrim on ultra at an average framerate. All you are experiencing is hardware limitation, unfortunately. You can use lower settings or a performance friendly ENB as well as the other recommendations mentioned above.
  4. Bah, so I am loading twice before able to play and that is working fine, but the game has suddenly gone unstable. I am starting to think the installation of Immersive Weapons in the middle of the game along running the perma patcher is an automatic borker for skyrim games.
  5. I get you. LOOT is supposed to do its job right, but I was scolded here for believing that :turned:. Turns out it is much more effective to let LOOT sort the files, and then group them like shown above, it brings A LOT of stability to a game. Let me know if you tried disabling auto save and how that turned out, please.
  6. Huh, sounds like an issue I used to have, don't mean to cause any type of "SHUT UP, DAMN SHILL" replies from anybody lol.. but I had those issues back when I had an AMD system, of course I had a lesser CPU and an R9 280X. I'd lose and have horrible texture glitching, black or purple models after some playtime, of course it would go away after reloading, sometimes restarting the game would fix it as well. The only fix I found was to use a less demanding ENB which still supported ENBoos and disable some of the effects. At the end it turned out to be an issue with the GPU as I had to RMA it and got a newer revision, but I got a lot of skyrim headaches related to my hardware before switching to Intel. (Didn't even switch for skyrim, my line of business required me to have a more powerful processing power) ANYWHO, if you don't believe this is hardware related, it might as well be related to your load order, it is all over the place. I learned that LOOT sets you in the right path to sort your mods, but nothing beats sorting it out yourself, that would be your first step here. Start by sorting your mods in Word, for example, and make clusters of matching mods. What I did was assign different colors to different mod types (Orange font for texture mods, green for environment mods, blue for mods which add items, etc) and then organize each cluster keeping in mind their dependable master files. I have included my load order below as an example. I was told to start with weather mods and lightning mods as a base, and set them low in the load order, but before any patches. It took a while, but it did give me a very stable game, a small FPS boost, and a noticeable change of visuals. The only issues I've had are caused by me it seems :P. Hope that helps!
  7. Your computer specs are no cut for Warzones: Civil Unrest. It's a heavily scripted mod and the spawning of new AI on screen is probably killing your RAM and VRAM allocation in your hardware.
  8. Your CPU is a dual core, quad thread CPU, you don't have 4 physical cores. On top of that, I need more information. What are your skyrim settings? I know your laptop can run skyrim at ULTRA with 34FPS at 1080p and 66FPS with high settings at 1366*768. Realvision is a very demanding ENB, your CPU as well as your GPU could be throttling if you are not cooling it properly, what preset are you using for the ENB? I run realvision with the ultra preset at 1080p and I hit 50 to 60 fps average with a GTX 970.
  9. For starters your load order is a controlled mess. You should definitely follow the guide in the pinned posts. Also, have you tried disabling auto saving? Try it out, disable all types of automatic saving and exit BFB again. #01: Your ESM Files; #02: Bug-Fix type Mods; #03: Game Structure and/or UI Mods: #04: Character Appearance Mods (For NPCs and Self); #05: Mods that Add and/or Change Locations; * #06: Mods that Add and/or Change Items; #07: Mods that Add NPCs; #08: Texture Mods; #09: Environmental Mods (things like Climates of Tamriel, Sounds of Skyrim, etc.); #10: Mods with Gameplay Changes; Then, #11: Reproccers, AV, and Bashed Patches.
  10. Okay, some additional details. I looked up the player.kill workaround. I reactivated the mod I had removed and loaded up the last save I have with the active mod, saved the game and had no issues. Then I performed the player.kill command and loaded the most recent save game in which I had faced the issue. I was able to save no problem, I exited the game to look up more stuff and fired it up again, walked a bit and entered an INN.. saved and crash again. I fired up skyrim again, but this time I loaded the problematic save, then before moving I loaded the save again (First time load from menu, second time load in game) and poof, no problem saving once entering the inn, existing the inn, or saving in the world outside of Markarth. I quit skyrim and loaded up again just once, saved and crashed. Loaded it up twice, and the issue was gone. Apparently I will have to load my save twice before playing, it's better than losing the save but it makes me think an ignored active quest could be the culprit. I know the nightcaller temple quest caused a similar issue before a patch,so the problematic quest could be a mod induced quest like Wyrmstooth, I no longer have my previous savefile to compare active quests but who knows. It just seems scripted to have two character saves fail on Level 15, and wyrmstooth toggles when you reach level 10, that is the only thing I can think of.. perhaps I should go and complete the quest to see if that's the issue. Lol.
  11. Apologies, the load order I posted is the one I had after installing movement speed fixes, just didn't care much about it as it was supposed to be a script free mod. The load order is the same but with the moment speed fix above RSPatch. The mod I had removed was a texture one which does not form part of the load order.
  12. About a month or two ago I started having issues with my skyrim saves, in which saving would cause an instant CTD. I received a lot of help from the forum to rebuild my load order as a troubleshooting step and just started a new game as we all though the save had gotten bricked. Also adopted the new methodology of never quick saving and doing a hardsave instead to avoid savefile corruption. Of course when I started a new game I didn't have the save ctd at all, but today I got it yet AGAIN, without any major mod install (Only installed immersive weapons and a dragon LOD fix. and removed some graphic intense mods which I didn't need anymore). Last time the issue started when I discovered Rorikstead and I was a level 15 character. This time... it began in Markarth after purchasing a horse and saving in the city. The only coincidence? ALSO LEVEL 15 CHARACTER. I have used the save tool, but there is absolutely nothing to clean, so the program refuses to run on the save. On top of that, the issue now occurs on any save file within the same character so it makes me believe it has nothing to do with scripts which were not running before the issue started. My system specs are: I7 4770K Stock base and turbo speeds. Asus Gtx 970 Kingston Hyper X Blue 2x 4gb sticks at 1333Mhz Gigabyte z97x-SLI-CF My load order is as follows: Any help is appreciated, I am not looking forward to starting a new game only to be able to play on trial mode, lol. Thanks forum.
  13. What is your load order how many and WHICH mods have you installed, uninstalled midgame?
  14. Ok, did some googleing and enabled v-sync, which was turned off. Went back to the game and the problem still presists. Maybe even worse than it was, not sure. But the "stutter" was so bad I just couldn't even look at the screen. *edit* The frame rate was a steady 60 after I enabled v-sync. Does this happen mostly when you are riding the Horse? Change object detail distance to medium.
  15. Thanks for the advice, guys. At the moment I am prioritizing the modifications on the load order as a first step. I understand it will be better to deactivate all mods not related to armor and weapons before activating PerMa and its patches. In the meantime, I have created this Load Order in the raw.. then I will see which mods can be merged into a Bashed Patch. Care to comment?
  16. What ENB are you using and where are you setting your AA and AF values? Hi, thanks, anything could help, I am using Realvision ENB, my Anti-alias is set to application controlled, the anisotropic filtering is set to application controlled, and ambient occlusion is set to Disabled. Also i have disabled Vsync from skyrim and from the ENB, but I am forcing it by the nvidia control panel, disabling it by complete doesn't help my performance. What about the skyrim launcher settings? Realvision requires you to have the following: -Antialiasing OFF (Best Performance) -Anisotropic Filtering OFF (Best Performance) -FXAA UNCHECKED.
  17. Please go to http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1592053-how-to-ask-for-help/ and post the missing nformation so we can help you further.
  18. What ENB are you using and where are you setting your AA and AF values?
  19. Sorry for the late response! I completely disabled ELFX and it still crashes so I don't think that is the problem so here is my enblocal file thanks for the help by the way. This happened to me as well when I made a speed install of ENB and forgot to turn off AA and AF on the skyrim launcher and GPU settings. It has to be controlled by ENB only.
  20. Hi, thanks for the input. I just want to make sure I understand, you are advising me to turn off all gameplay, lightning, texture mods besides armor & weapons, then patch.. and AFTER that, turn on my gameplay, lightning, texture mods or just not use them anymore? Because it kinda defeats the purpose of modding for me.. I don't know, it doesn't seem like a solution to me.
  21. Yeah, by now it is compatible without issue. At least I haven't had issues with the previous games I've had with that config. Thanks for the pointers. I think gameplay overhauls should go after weather/lightning mods, but I have a question. Do water mods, like realistic Water Two, bobbing boats, skyfalls+skymills should go between weather mods and lightning mods? I guess I am overcomplicating things and should follow this order, but make sure all of my main mods are listed below their masters and have all patches as low as possible. Would it affect anything if I have main mod high in the load order and have its patch near the bottom? I am thinking it has nothing to do as long as the mod it is patching is above the patch .esp, right? Again, thanks for all your help.
  22. Thanks for the reply and the tip. I made this cluster of all my weather mods and lightning, left the end of my load order to give a better idea of where I would place them in. Climates of Tamriel is way up with my main .esm's and it's load order can't be taken further down in Nexus mod manager. Sorry if I frustrate you, I am very ignorant when it comes to the inner workings of skyrim modding. Wish I knew more but I am willing to learn.
  23. Christ, I guess Loot is not a good idea afterall, then. I'll read http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/753253-only-you-can-prevent-forest-fires/ and try to organize the load order myself and see if it makes any difference.
  24. Out of the blue, my save system no longer works in my current game. The way it happened is that I installed Northfire's Dirtcliffs, sorted my loadorder using Loot, did my Automatic Variant, Perkus Maximus patching, loaded my game and played for a while. Issue started happening again while autosaving, which is something that had happened to me before and I fixed it by running my patches again, this time it did not work. I decided to uninstall the Dirtcliffs mod and load a previous save. It worked without a single crash and I decided to take a break. I come back and exit the shop I was in, BAM crash during autosave. I disable autosave and load a previous save which seemed to be intact, saving worked. Created a new hard save and exited the game. Loaded up and tested hard save, another crash. I know SKSE creates bug report, but mine doesn't and I have no idea on how to debug. I also tried to clean the save, but upon opening the save, I am notified there is nothing to clean. Also attempted on new games, and the saving issues does not occur, but I did not try to force it as I did with my main game. The following is my load order. Any help would be highly appreciated. Also including my System Specs: I7-4770K, Stock Speed. ASUS GTX970 Kingston Hyper X Blu, 8GB ram. 2 Seagate HDDs, 500 and 1500Gb.
  25. Hello People, I am not too educated on advanced modding of Skyrim, so please bear with me as I only know some basic concepts for now. I have these two mods installed as mentioned in the title. Signs of Skyrim and SkyFix Unique Inn Signs. The mod author for Signs of Skyrim has not performed any changes on the Bannered Mare and the Sleeping Giant inn, so the Textures from SkyFix Unique Inn Signs take over (This is what I want to happen) What I would like to do is only have the Inns use the signs from SkyFix and leave the stores using Signs of Skyrim, but so far this has proven to be more difficult than I thought as only Signs of Skyrim uses an ESP, so I cannot modify the load order and I cannot simply delete the textures from Signs of Skyrim. The game will not use the other textures saved from SkyFix. I am thinking I will have to merge both mods, am I correct? If so, how could I go about that? I really do not have any leads on how to start, I know WyreBash is involved, but I have 0 information to start with. Thanks for the help!
