  1. So Winterhold Expanded Ruins and Expanded Winterhold Destruction Ruins are both undownloadable and not being supported anymore. I loved these two because I loved the expanded/bigger Winterhold and how it actually looked ruined like it was supposed to. Alas, I can't use this mod anymore, so does anyone know of any other good Winterhold mods?
  2. I would have thought to examine a spell. Lightning, frost and fire spells all put a 'burning' or other FX on the item. You could have examined how that worked. Sorry not the best at technical jargon, my modding usually consists of reverse engineering to achieve results how I want them.
  3. Galadreal's explanation worked. I was in the "All" category with my actor's ID searched, and Ctrl+F4 doesn't work there apparently. You have to search the actor from the "Actors" category. Anyway, problem solved.
  4. Wow that was such a simple answer, I'm legitimately disappointed with myself for having a problem with this. No matter, thank you, it worked.
  5. Okay I know someone here just thought "Oh great, another newbie who didn't search before asking a question!" Wrong. I've searched google, I've searched these very forums, and almost every tutorial is the same. -Change the NPC in some way (Change the hair seems to be easy) -Close the NPC dialog, then highlight the NPC in the Object Window and then press Ctrl and F4 to export the character's face tint data. Right? Well, my problem here is, pressing Ctrl and F4 while having my NPC highlighted in the object window does absolutely nothing. There is no prompt. At the bottom, the CK isn't telling me it's doing anything. Checking my Data\Textures folder, there is nothing. Ctrl + F4 just isn't working. What do I do?
  6. Hello, me again, I've been stalking with interest. I would like to use PerMa but for some reason can't get it to work, so I went with Requiem.
  7. I would like to know when this mod is released! It sounds awesome. +1
  8. I don't remember all of Serana's lines, but I'm pretty sure she might end up saying some weird stuff. For anyone thinking about this, you'd have to search for the specific quest that cures her and edit the quest so that it changes her home and armor kit after she is cured. Searching through quests is tough work and not my area of expertise. I'll go look through the CK really fast. If it's easier than I'm thinking, I may make this mod for you. Actually it's harder than I thought. Outside of ym area of expertise... I've never messed around with quests before. Sorry :/
  9. Not that I know of. However, you could probably learn to retexture the already in game cheese meshes, then create new items for them and place them where you want.
  10. Why didn't I think of that?! BlackPlane01 was exactly what I needed! Thank you.
  11. Hello, I'm playing around with the CK trying to make a dungeon. The loading screen door I'm using to enter the dungeon from outside is ShrineMehrunesDoor01 but whenever I open it, while it's playing the opening animation, it shows what's behind it. What's behind it is, well, nothing, and I don't want that to be seen. Is there a sort of wall of black/darkness effect I can place behind the door, so when it's playing the opening animation you don't see anything? Thanks in advance.
  12. Wow, it's almost exactly like it! I may use it sometime this week. I opened the CK last night and it crashed so now I'm just trying to get it to work again.
  13. I actually agree with you. But what happened was, I was playing dark souls with a thief build, with both these rings equipped (You can equip 2 rings in DS) and my ps3 controller died and I couldn't find the charger so I got on my computer and thought "Hey, those rings would be awesome in Skyrim!" Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring is only good when used in conjunction with Ring of Fog. So I see your point.
  14. Important Edit; You can ignore anything related to SDR, I really only want the Ring of Fog. Also, please don't just make a mod with a ring with invisibility effect. I'd like a modeled ring that looks like the original. Fans of Dark Souls will know these two rings. The Ring of Fog "Turns body nearly invisible, reducing enemies' visual range. Enemies also tend to forget about the character and 'de-aggro' if the character stays outside of the reduced visual range." The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring simply silences the wearer's movements. If recreated in Skyrim, the RoF would make you invisible as long as worn, even if you interacted with something. The SDR would make you have a constant muffle effect, but it's much stronger than regular muffle to where no one can hear you at all. If you could make these, including the model, that would be awesome. Don't forget to upload it on the nexus. As a fan of both Dark Souls and Skyrim, I'd like to see more Dark Souls items in Skyrim. RoF: http://darksouls.wikidot.com/local--files/rings/ring-of-fog.png SDR: http://darksouls.wikidot.com/local--files/rings/slumbering-dragoncrest-ring.png EDIT: If you're only good at items, but not so much at quests and stuff, then if you could make the models I'll finish the rest of the mod and I'll give you credit where credit is due. The only reason I'm not making this is because I can't model, but I also have a small quest mod planned for this. If you don't want that, maybe we can come to a compromise where, on the nexus, you upload the file with just the rings, and I'll make an alternate file where people can go through a quest to get them so it'd be their choice? Lastly, if you want to do both items and quest feel free to ask me what I had planned.
  15. I would freaking love you for the battlemage look. HOLY SH!T! I can't believe I never thought of a pauldron mod with pauldrons on robes... Give me it... Give me it NOW! XD Only problem is for those who like the mage armor spells *Shudder* But I normally use light armor boots like glass and glass gauntlets with robes and hood as a mage character.
