  1. So I've been getting CTD's for the past few months now and have yet to stop them. Almost after 5 minutes of playing in game, whether I save or go to a menu or talk with an NPC, I would CTD. I think I've found the problem but I need help in solving it. I have this reoccurring message in my script logs: [ (6A011526)].critterspawn.OnCellAttach() - "<savegame>" Line ? [01/20/2014 - 09:45:31AM] Error: Argument variable "::bLooping_var" was not successfully looked up stack: Now I'm pretty sure that my game is CTD'ing because of script overload. The good part is is that I'VE FOUND THE CRITTER SPAWNERS THAT ARE CAUSING THESE PROBLEMS. They were added by a mod I'm using. Now….. what do I do from here???? Any suggestions would be really helpful!
  2. Here is the end of my latest Papyrus log. Could this be causing the CTDs? If so how do I stop it?
  3. Ok I've tried ripple's suggestion, and it had no effect on my CTDs. I've safely uninstalled the old Toggle Helmet mod, yet I still CTD. I'm now fairly positive it's due to the critterspawn script file. It seems to be overloading my game and causing my game to CTD. Is there anyway to stop this from happening???

  5. I'm having this problem with my save game. I'm randomly getting CTDs, but especially when either accessing menus or quicksaving. It doesn't happen every time, but every 5 minutes or so I will crash to the desktop. I've attached my load order and last parts of my papyrus log. The lines that concern me that come up multiple times are these two: warning: Property Cloak on script _mz_TH_AttachScript attached to Active effect 2 on (32000D6D) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property Error: Argument variable "::bLooping_var" was not successfully looked up stack: The first one is a script from the old Toggle Helmet mod. Could that be causing the CTDs? Also I'm just confused about that bLooping_var line as well. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  6. Can any of you guys help me? What I want to do is make Erik the Slayer not a hireling anymore (I believe that since I helped him out, he should come with me for free). Anyone know how this could be done? If that's too difficult, then how could I make it so that he always offers his services free of charge (if you recruit him, dismiss him, then recruit him before 24 hours, he is free of charge. How could I make that happen all the time?)
  7. So I need some help and advice when it comes to changing a hireling into a normal follower in the Creation Kit. I've had Erik the Slayer as my follower for quite some time now, and for roleplaying purposes, I believe that he has been a follower of mine for so long now that he would want to join me without being payed. Besides, I feel insulted when he charges me 500 gold after I was the one who started his journey in the first place :biggrin: Anyway, what's the best way to make him, or any hireling for that matter, not a hireling any longer? I realize that in game if you hire him multiple times there are times where he charges for free, but I want him to NEVER charge me again, a.k.a. creating him as a regular follower and not a hireling in the Creation Kit. Any thoughts/tips/advice?
  8. Hey guys, so I need some help with the creation kit and some clutter. I created my own custom banner to put in my home base. There are already some banners put up in the rooms, and so I would like to replace those and put in my own. The first problem I encountered was trying to use the find and replace method in ck. I would select the banner, press control-f, and said replace the current banner with my modded one. In the ck it worked perfectly, however when I got into the game the original banners were still there. And yes I did load the esp into the game, so that's not the issue. Quickly getting impatient, I decided to go another route. I decided to change the base id's of the banners to that of my modded banner's model. Worked like a charm, the modded banners looked great in ck and in the game. HOWEVER....I would be able to see them from the outside of the room, but when I would go into a certain room with the banners, the second I walk into the room, the banners disappeared. It makes no sense to me. Now I did go back to ck and saw that there were room markers and portals for those specific rooms, and that seemed to me like the problem. So I deleted the room markers and portals and went back in game to see if that worked, but they were still disappearing!!! I'm getting pretty frustrated now and need some help. Any suggestions on any of my two problems, the first being find and replace not replacing the banners in the actual game, and second the banners disappearing in game after entering certain rooms. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!
