Hello I am currently trying to learn how to combine certain texture mods together to work better for myself. I have made music and radio mods before but this will be my first incursion into textures and outfits so I'm looking for some help/advice on what needs to be done. Currently trying to combine these two mods together to remove some cube map issues with the gold trim and numbers and improve the overall look for my game the main goal is to use the proto vault suit as the standard suit and change to golden number on the security gear to match the proto suits textures or maybe make them vanilla-ish the biggest issue is the gold cube maps turn black in the rain and there isn't a fix for it so id like to just get rid of it altogether with a (in only my own personal opinion) superior texture. Does anyone know of a mod or mods that retexture the dawnguard armors and weapons similar to Amidianborn book of silence does to vanilla armors and weapons???

ok so we have horse armors for every horse in Skyrim from every hold and even the rare horses shadowmere and frost, but I have seen none for arvak even as just a aesthetics kind of deal now if someone could grab the models of other armors for horses and instead of applying a solid texture so to speak if we think about wear arvak is from and look at the other creatures within that realm why not apply a texture that is similar to say the summoned weapons with that purple see through look or apply that oh so dark smoking look to the armor that seeps from the creatures throughout the soul cairn but wait I know what your thinking all black armor like that is going to look tacky and terrible right well what if you were to apply a few other touches like say the textures of soul gems as an armor highlighting in area to separate certain parts and pieces and let the armor seep that dark mist let it breath from it the essence of the soul cairn well anyone imagining this yet id do it myself but sadly I cannot use some of my fingers at the moment and it hard to operate a keyboard or a mouse let alone do anything articulate of any good quality so are there any takers

is anyone out there or do my questions fall upon deaf ears of the forums.

I have found retextures for almost every armor out on the nexus worth retexturing but I haven't seen anything for dawnguard armors I think they are pretty cool I wonder why no one has attempted to redo the textures and quality, has anyone on the nexus seen or heard anything from anyone about even a possible retex? or am I just grasping at air when i ask about this. Is it because no one else likes dawnguard and believes it would be a waste of time, or do people just not give a f*** about it one way or the other? you tell me cause id really like to know?

does anyone know where to find or maybe how to change certain bracers from light to heavy im playing with the Spartacus armor but it has no bracers to go with it only light armor stuff doesn't clip through id really like a full set of heavy armor not matching just a full set any suggestions?

ok so I really love this armor concept in almost every way I don't mod but I wonder if the chainmail couldn't be a bit more steelish in color just a suggestion as it would be a nice contrast to the black cloth

does anyone know where I could find a good gladiator armor mod I'm doing a roman type playthrough and I really need a good gladiator armor to complete my arena and character loadouts does anyone have any suggestions? any help is appreciated.

Ok so to reply to brigand 231 first off I apologize if the tone of my previous messages bothered you or anyone else for that matter, and the whole stripping mods thing; like I said I don't have any real time for modding of any kind let alone have the ability to download resources to make mods. My job and duties in the military are time consuming and labor intensive I don't have a lot of down time to do much of anything for myself or anybody else for that matter when I do get to play games or go on the internet it isn't for long. So again I apologize for being blunt and sounding like a jerk; but your right I am at the mercy of other modders and that's why I made this post to begin with. trust me if could do these things myself I would but I'm too busy hiding in sand on a daily basis and making sure I don't come home in a box with an American flag draped over it. I'm sorry if this message or any message I post upsets, annoys, or generally bothers anyone in any way, truly I apologize. And to anyone and I mean anyone who posts anything on this topic page with information on mods or anything really you have a thank you from the bottom of my heart I appreciate all of it even if I don't sound like I do I'm just to blunt and rough for my own good I'm afraid its just how I am.
