  1. After searching a lot more I found the answer I think. The edit I used for the skyrim ini file was incorrect and wiped out a line. This line belongs in the sky.ini also: sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa So the entire thing should read: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa I did copy and paste from demonized unp female body where he wrote a help text on how to fix the skyrim.ini so the high res texture pack would not overwrite his texture pack. His line I copied and pasted left out the second voice line. I am not the first and will not be the last person this has happened to either. Note This did fix my problem. The ini files listed above are specific to a mod fix for skyrim. Used if you have bethesda's high res texture pack and demonized unp female bodies. Do not just copy and paste for every missing voice problem in game. The important line for fixing missing voices is this: sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa It should be in your [Archive] section of the ini.
  2. Ok background. Win 7 64 bit also I have a sound blaster card installed. I installed my game from steam. It worked fine. Then I started to add mods checking for stability of the game and frame rate. I added the dlc dawngaurd and hearth fires and the high res texture pack dlc from steam. All went well. Then I added skyUI from steam again fine. Then I added from steam the following: Better dynamic snow wearable lanterns enhanced blood run for your lives W.A.T.E.R. RCRN-realistic colors realistic nights. Again all went fine game works voice works. Then I wamted the HD 2k high res texture pack but I can not get it from steam. So I went to nexus and installed the nexus mod manager. Then I installed: HD 2k texures Dimonized unp female body I also modified the sky.ini archive line to read: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa And I unchecked the 2 high res texture pack dlc files from the data loader but left them installed. At this point the voice stopped. I turned on the subtitles and I get all of the text of what NPC character interaction is saying but no voice. To try to fix this issue so far I tried to start a new game to see if my save file was corupted. But I get no voice on a new game as well. Then I tried to reinstall from steam. However steam uses a cloud sync so I get the same game and the same broken voice problem with a reinstall. I tried to uninstall HD 2k textures and dimonized female body and still no voice. Is it possible that the nexus mod manager broke my games voice? That is the only thing left. Anyway I need help somehow the voice files are not responding in my game. Again I am getting the subtitles speach but no voice files are playing. Also I checked the volume levels in settings and that did nothing. I am getting other game sounds just no voice. My sound blaster card is working fine and works with all my other games. Please help.
