  1. If you can gain a powerful, end-game item early on, and you're not using a hack or mod to get it, or a console command for that matter, then no, it's not cheating. Remember Fallout 2? There is a way to get power-armour right at the start of the game, simply by visiting an mid/end-game location as soon as possible. If you feel guilty, or you feel over-powered, simply don't do it. The same goes for console-commands, really, and cheat-codes - in any game. If you feel guilty by cheating, don't do it. If you feel guilty by picking up the Blade of White Woe, don't pick it up. Simples. That said, I can see sometimes where the temptation lies. When Oblivion first came out (pre-patch, of course), once I learned of the paintbrush trick and the "equipped arrows" dupe trick... Oh, and as for what Tchos said about "I gave myself a pair of boots that increase my movement speed, because I don't enjoy walking slowly across big empty areas." - Make a character with Speed as an attribute, or take the Steed, and have Athletics as a major. Boom.
  2. There is no Morrowind multiplayer. There has never been Morrowind multiplayer. Considering that it is absolutely impossible to implement a multiplayer mode for Morrowind, there never will be any kind of Morrowind multiplayer. If you see a link, video, or tutorial showing Morrowind multiplayer, it is fake. If a friend, girlfriend/boyfriend, husband/wife, or guy down the pub tells you there is a way to make Morrowind multiplayer, he/she/it is lying to you. It doesn't matter how many threads you see online saying that the author has totally been told by a trusted friend's dad's work colleague, who totally knows how to get a Morrowind MP to work, that it is possible. It isn't. It never will be. Just in case you missed it, Morrowind multiplayer will never, ever happen.
  3. Nothing is on my mind. At ALL.
  4. This. Very much so. My advice would be - don't expect to complete the game on your first playthrough. I can't tell you how many times I re-started because I felt I wanted to progress my character a little differently. There is so much to do in this game, you might want to do a few "trial runs" to begin with. 'Course, that's just how I started Morrowind, and of course everyone is different, but it can't hurt to test the waters, so to speak. Do all the little side-quests at Seyda Neen. If you want to get a good handle of the game, don't use the Seyda Neen Silt Strider to get to Balmora; walk. It doesn't take long, and you can get to grips with the UI and the control system along the way. *EDIT* Oh, also? A little hint is that NPCs do not leave their cell - in other words, they do not use doors that load into another area (into and out of houses, for example). This is handy if you are outmatched and you are close to one of these doors. Also, if you are in a house and there is only the one guy, you can kill him and "steal" his house. You can use his bed, and since there are no NPCs going in or out of the cell, you can use the storage. Forever. This depends on any RP you wish to conform to, but it's really helpful nevertheless. I always do this for the house at the very edge of Seyda Neen (the unlocked one, close to the Silt Strider) and at least once in every city so I have a place to stash all my lovely loot ^_^
