  1. I believe that my download problems have resolved themselves now. I don't know how to close this forum, or if it should stay open for future reference. But at the time of me writing this post, I can now download from Nexus without any problems again.
  2. Thank you for making the reference link. I think everything is working good now. Either my computer was having some problems or something but the issues seem to have resolved themselves (I'm hoping that I'm not jinxing myself by stating that so soon lol)
  3. This morning I tried looking at the logs from Vortex, I'll post them here for more information to see if someone who is more tech savvy can help me figure this out: Here's the logs pulled from Vortex for the mod: Skyrim Flora Overhaul. You can see how the download (through the logs) had been paused/canceled by user multiple times (I would like to state that until the very end of the log, I had not paused or canceled the download myself until it just eventually stopped downloading and I decided to stop the whole download.) Below the Vortex logs, I have included a manual download from Chrome, showing how it is downloading smoothly. Now when I get to larger downloads over 1 gb, I start to have problems manually downloading. But as far as this test goes, I'm using the same mod, same file, and same servers. Vortex keeps pausing downloads to the point of being unable to finish, whereas manuals (for the most part is working fine). So I'm really at a loss as to what to do to fix this. I've tried changing my server preferences multiple times, I've checked for updates to Vortex. The only thing that I have not tried yet is uninstalling Vortex and reinstalling it, but I've been told by multiple people that it is not an issue through Vortex itself. So I'm just not really sure what is going on at this point, and any help would be most appreciated! 4. Okay, I'll take a look at the logs to see if that gives any information. I did a full report on the general forums about this, following the reporting download issues requirments as required, and as I was doing the large file download tests, I can't download larger files without it coming up saying "server issues" on my computer's end. So I put up the full report to see if anyone can find what's going on. As you said, it's more than likely not Vortex which is why I went ahead and moved it to the general forums last night. But I appreciate your suggestions and I'll look into it. So far playing around with the sever locations hasn't produced any different results.
  5. I went ahead and moved this over to the general feedback forums
  6. Hey, I'm having download problems through Vortex specifically (I say Vortex because I can download mods manually from Nexus Mods without any problems) I can also download games through Steam, and Chrome without any problems as well. When I try to download mods from Nexus Mods, using Vortex, it will download for a few seconds usually around 3/4 mbs then it grinds to a halt. Sometimes it will pick back up, only to stop again. I do pay for premium, and I have logged out of both Vortex, and Nexus mods, while changing servers just to be sure there wasn't any issues there. I've also reset my computer's network settings with no success. I do not use a VPN, although I had downloaded Hamachi yesterday for the Skyrim Together mod. (Since then, I have uninstalled Hamachi, and again, reset my network settings) My Vortex did install an update yesterday, so I'm not sure if there's a glitch or not. I've been told from others that their Vortex is not having problems. I had posted this in the Vortex support earlier, which I was recommended to bring the discussion over to the general feedback forums. 7. Vortex downloads work fine for me, at top speed, I also use a VPN, which is probably the deciding factor. Yeah, I've spoken with a friend who uses Vortex and he's not having any problems as well. I actually had downloaded the Hamachi VPN yesterday for Skyrim Together, and conveniently after that was when I began having the download issues, so I'm beginning to wonder if there's a connection there. I uninstalled the vpn, I'm still having problems. But Vortex is starting to download again, what it does is they stop, then pick back up, stop again, and pick back up. It's really strange, but at least I can still manually download mods right now. Thank you for your input!
  8. Okay, thank you. If I don't figure it out/get an answer tonight, I'll head over to the general feedback forum. I appreciate your input!
  9. I do appreciate the reply, but I put this here because it is a Vortex issue, so I thought the Vortex Support was the best place to open a discussion about it. I can now manually download from Nexus Mods without any problems, but Vortex's downloads keep stopping after a few seconds
  10. Hey, yesterday all of a sudden, Vortex just began dropping my downloads. I can hit the download button on Nexus, it will start downloading and after a few seconds it slows down to a grinding halt. I can restart it and it will pick back up, only for a few seconds then stop once again. I pay for premium, so I have already tried changing my server locations with same results sadly. I've also logged out of Vortex, and Nexus mods, then relogged in to see if that would fix anything with no luck. I can download things from steam and chrome regularly without any problems. I'm also finding now that I can't even do manual downloads, so maybe Nexus is just having server issues? Is anyone else having this problem right now or is it just me?
  11. @Dandidragon: Hey, I haven't done any modding for quite a while now, but from my understanding a ESP is the file that takes the folders for a mod and activates them in game. So for the instance of a mod that adds new armor to the game, you will need an ESP created using the creation kit to add said armor to the world or crafting menu. So for this, you will need to use the ESP so that you can have the Unique beast races, because they use a separate folder in Skyrim's files from the original Argonian and Khajiit races. I hope that helps out, I'm not positive if that's an accurate way to describe it, but I thought I'd try and help out anyway :)
  12. That is just fine, you are the Modder and its your choice if you want to put the mod on Nexus or not. Thanks for your time and patience.
  13. To answer your question, I had been using the old Unique Beast Races mod by Bilotheretard, when I checked it a few days ago I saw that Senviro is currently creating the new bodies. So I looked at the posts just for the heck of it and I saw the link to this forum that Senviro posted, when I used it I saw the progress picture that you put up of the Argonian and the link to the demo on Mediafire. Also just letting you know I have never asked you to put this mod on Nexus, so you must have me confused for someone else, but I am sorry for asking you to put this mod on Nexus and I won't ask you again... By the way you guys are doing some really fantastic work so keep it up!
  14. Hey Derok, do you thing you could put the download for the new Argonian mesh on Nexus? mediafire is really bad about putting viruses on computers, I tried to get a texture pack for Minecraft and Mediafire attempted to install a Trojan on my pc. Only if you want to put the file on Nexus, but please if you could do that it would be awesome
