  1. I spend most of my time looking for mods, installing them etc, maybe I'll even get to play once in a while too, forums take too much time
  2. Could be worse... could be forced 3-4 minute Justin Bieber songs
  3. - Baddy if you're starting out a new char - Valeria if you want a solid companion (you can change the class) - Viconia/other sulteric drums ones are solid - Neeshka all of the above are low maintenance. Not sure about others. Below are higher maintenance: - CM Partners: you have to repair their stuff. Unreliable in whether they follow you through doors or not - CSR: you have to repair their stuff, double face bug still happens (or was it fixed?) eh, too sleepy
  4. If at first you cannot beat them, bring more people! You liked the orc combat dude right? Swing a sword or hammer or stuff and bash people's heads in. Once you got to the mages and the high level dudes you had to run and stuff seemed impossible. I'd say, get a companion. Baddy is a nice one with quests and stuff. Best only used when starting a new game due to the way the quests trigger. I tried on a level 70 char and it bugs out a little. Other companions include valeria 2.0 (you can pick her class) or Viconia Chapter 1 or Neeshka. CM partners are an option but they tend to be cannon fodder unless you're rich or use specialised ones like my Basement cats =P Find some mods that are low-level friendly. I like The Elder Council. Join the legion and patrol the roads. Use Companion share and recruit to bring some legion soldiers with you. They'll probably die but that's ok. You get a "free" armour set. It won't stay good for long but it is better than nothing. More stuff: - Get ooo, or FCOM, but get something like this - Get a combat mod, Adrenaline fueled combat 2 is pretty good and doesn't change too much stuff. - If you go close quarters combat, you need a way to heal. Spamming a spell isn't what I'd call a good way to heal. Screw restoration and get alchemy instead. It levels fast and you get cheap potions. - USE POISON. Poison is so awesome. Turn off the poison confirmation box though. Though, just because you're an orc with a warhammer doesn't mean everyone should just die for you. Maybe deadly reflex with higher weapon damage will help. LAst time I used it, fights were over pretty fast, but you'll probably pretty fast too. I'd suggest some shield enchantments.
  5. Don't do anything involving complete restarts. Instead, open wrye bash and look at the load order, find the number the mod was given (can be 03,04,05, or letters). Then go in-game, open the console, type player.additem xx0408F3 1 replace xx with the number you got from the load order. Also 1. Do not use autosave and quickloads or anything. Go into settings and turn them off completely. Use streamline instead and make lots of hardsaves. I'll write a guide on hardsaves later. 2. NEVER reload your game after you die, instead, CLOSE THE GAME and relaunch from windows. Oblivion has consolitis and it messes things up quite a bit. Because it needs to "load quickly" and stuff, the game doesn't reload your last save, it just puts you back to where you were and it tries to make things look like they were previously. This means that if you drop your weapon in a fight, and you reload, there's a good chance the weapon has been duplicated. This also affects OBSE and other scripts in that they cause CTD's when called after a reload.
  6. Did you loot the warlock and his staff? If you teleport out of there, the sky might be looking weird for a while and all the trees will sway like mad. Just wait inside somewhere for cellreset
  7. The following is a cheat: I accidentally threw away 3 prisms while testing "throw any weapon" and after punching myself I cheated them into the game: player.additem ??0408F3 Replace ?? with their number in the load order. Use Wrye bash to see what the number is (could be a letter too) so If Midas magic is 7 in the load order, make it 070408F3
