  1. I think that's a great idea! Put it on the project list if you have one
  2. When ever I come here, I see this idea just growing more and more as days go by. I'm amazed that this idea has come this far!
  3. We kinda already realized that... I think there's a group of them infected with Vampirism in Valenwood, but the lore is inconclusive. Oh, nice! Glad to see someone creating a team to work on this! If you could send me some pictures once you got the thing developed, I'd be glad to give my input! actually, there isnt any team, i just started to do the stuff by my own, i just though that we can stop thinking and start doing, because we already got some good ideas here, and we should start the development team, this mod will be really hard to get done, and we need the best results i propose this: we should close the sugestion box and start the development first: we need people with some good experience on 3D moddeling, programers... well, a game design team. second: we should start here in the topic, the questline story, but this time viewing each point of the quest and making a discussion about it until we make our decision i know some people that can help us, they collaborate with digital projects and stuff, but its not certain. i cant access my computer right now so i will work on the art development, when i can, i will scan the drawings just one more thing: tell me what is going to officially enter on the mod and what is not, so i can know what to draw thanks So here's some of what's confirmed: -The city -The Coreforge -The Hive -The Sea of Fire Some more-than-likely possibilities: -The Mine -The Core -Some ancient evil locked away down there -Chaurus Queen -Chaurus Sentinels -A new guild Some "maybe" possibilies: -Firelands -Discontent in the city -Chaurus/Falmer hybrid Some not-so-likely possibilities: -Areas of Hammerfell and Morrowind -Another Elder Scroll (how many of those frickin' things are there?!)

  5. I have, but they don't come close to what I have been imagining. I was imagining a Skyrim with only the vital NPC's plus some new ones, and the wilds of Skyrim dotted with hordes of zombies and only a few accessible resources to craft armors and weapons. Almost DayZ in Skyrim, but not quite.
  6. So I got an idea in my head, but I don't quite know how to employ it in Skyrim. I want to turn Skyrim into a zombie survival game, sort of like DayZ, but with swords, shields, bows and magic instead of guns. I was also thinking of making the land of Skyrim kind of ruined-ish, with some of the city walls broken down, etc. Could this be possible? Or am I suggesting something that would take too long or be just completely impossible?
  7. you should be a book writer... sorry, but that isn't a quest history, its a narration(really nice, by the way) This idea has more potential the more I come here. This is great! Perhaps the Library I mentioned on the first post could have a new Black Book that leads to Apocrypha?
  8. The Idea So I, among some of us, have just finished the Dragonborn DLC. But I was expecting to see more of the realm of Apocrypha, even wanting to see more artifacts than some Black Books and the Oghma Infinium. So why don't we expand on the entire realm of Hermaeus Mora, and make it more than what it is. Let's make it so that we want to stay there, and forever browse the library of the unknown. Possible Places -The Browser Section, a settlement for browsers of Apocrypha: A small area for those lost in the library of the unknown. Includes a librarian (obviously), a smithy, a master mage, a fletcher, a tailor, an inn, and a master enchanter, along with the other browsers of Apocrypha. -The Elder Library: A section of Apocrypha devoted to copies of the Elder Scrolls. They are always randomly appearing and disappearing, for they do not exist, yet have existed forever. A moth priest rests here, willing to read any of the Elder Scrolls that appear in the shelves of the Elder Library. -Tower of Xarxes: A tower for the god of secret knowledge, Xarxes resides in his tower, recording the history of the Aldmeri and the Nenes for eternity. Here is found a copy of the Mysterium Xarxes and a non-functional Oghma Infinium. He is in this realm that he is most focused on writing the history of man and mer on paper, and he even has his own section of Apocrypha. -Whitebeard Section: A place to learn more about shouting. Here in this section, the Dovahkiin can learn the Way of the Voice and learn how to make all of his shouts more effective and deadly. This section is home to the Whitebeards, the masters of the Thu'um by the teachings of Hermaeus Mora. -Hermaeus' Tower: The tower where the true form of Hemaeus resides. Here, he houses his private section of books and some of his favorite knowings, including the knowledge of the Skaal shamans, and the many secrets that Miraak kept from him. Some of Sheogorath's ramblings are recorded here, you just have to look hard enough... Possible Artifacts -Aether Infinium: A powerful book that, when read, can grant someone the ability to smite an enemy with a massive lighting storm once a day. -Mysterium Daedroth: A scroll that can summon a powerful army of dremora for you to command once a day -The Stone Book: A dictionary of the dragon tongue, allowing the Dovahkiin to access all shouts and shout ad infinitum for a short period of time. -Clock's End: A spell tome that allows the reader to slow or speed up time at will. This power is a major drain of Magicka, though, as it requires a grand master of magic in order to slow time to a halt. -The Book of Youth: A powerful tome that can reset a character back to square one. A fountain of youth, if you will. The person will have lost all skill, but retains the knowledge that they have learned over the years. (What I'm trying to say is this is a book you want to read if you want all the perks in the game.) -Book of the Divines: A small journal that allows one to obtain all the blessings of the Nine Divines plus Nocturnal, Auriel, and the Blessing of Blood. -Mystrium Mora: A scroll that calls Hermaeus' servants to aid you in battle. This power can be used only once a day. -The Book of Races: a book that allows someone to change their racial abilities. So a Khajiit, could have Night Eye, Argonian Waterbreathing, and Highborn abilities. -The Doldrums of the Soul Cairn: A large dictionary that enables the user to imbue their weapons with the power of the Soul Cairn, allowing them to sap the life from an enemy if they get too close. -The Guard of Skyrim: A small journal that removes any bounty held on them in all of the holds when read. -Dagon's Runes: Stones that can allow a person to do one of the following: have a chance to instantly kill, have a chance to resurrect an enemy and make them your follower, have a chance to create an explosion of energy when power attacking, have a chance to make an enemy explode while dual casting destruction magic, or have a chance to kill people in a chain. -Eternal Infinium: a book that allows one to become the avatar of a god for a short period of time. This is the most powerful book in the library, and is sealed within the bowels of Hermaeus' tower... This idea is up for grabs, so anyone that wants to do this, go right ahead. I just really want this idea to happen.
  9. The Idea So there's this idea I've had floating in my head about the distant future of Tamriel, or maybe Nirn as a whole. With the rate that magic has been advancing, why haven't time travelers from some later era arrived in Skyrim? Why haven't there been future inhabitants of Tamriel that meddle in the events of the Fourth Era? So here's some of the ideas I have currently: -Time Traveler's Retreat: a small hideout for the people of the Ninth Era in the middle of the volcanic tundra of Eastmarch. The few mages that inhabit this place can teach you how to send yourself across the stream of time into the Ninth Era, or back into the Mythic Era. Learning to do so would require that you find an Elder Scroll (doesn't really matter which one), and read it. With the possibility of reading glasses specifically for reading the Elder Scrolls, this could become a viable way to learn how to send yourself forward and back in the stream of time. -Ninth Era Skyrim: With your new ability to control time, you can send yourself into the distant year of 9E 763. Here, Skyrim is no longer the forested tundra that it was. It is now populated by the many new cities and towns that sprawl across the land. Here, the Thalmor have asserted control over the entire province, using powerful illusion magic to control the minds of the authorities, the leaders, and even several citizens. With the return of a dragonborn, though, they might not have hold over the land for long... -Mythic Era Skyrim: This new control over the stream of time lets you go back in time as well. Ever wanted to meet Ysgramor? Ever wanted to aid him and his founding of the Companions? Many say he was lead by a dragonborn to the Skyforge, and led him to build the mead hall of Jorrvaskr. And around this mighty mead hall? The city of Whiterun. Some say that same dragonborn helped defend the settlement of Saarthal in the infamous Night of Tears. Who knows? -The Stream of Time: How does one go from era to era? Is it just a quick cast of a spell, and then you're there? Sadly, no. One must travel through the River of Time to do that. The River is guarded by some of the most powerful of Et'Ada that chose not form their identity, turning them into the guardians of the stream. One cannot kill these Et'Ada, only their avatars, which will more than likely be the form of a Golden Saint or, on a very rare occasion, the form of a Centaur. Because of the distances between the three main eras, there may be some small bolt holes made by some of those traveling along the River. -Consequences: While in one of the distant eras, a time traveler must be careful about what he changes, for it may have catastrophic results on the current Fourth Era, or even the distant Ninth Era. As the timeline become more jumbled with each changed event, the River may release this time flux in the form of a Hunger. If enough time flux has built up, then it may release a Keth, or even a Daedroth. If a time traveler persists in his or her meddling ways, an avatar of Akatosh himself may descend from Aetherius and dispose of the pesky traveler. I am open to adding more ideas if you guys can come up with them. This is just a rough template of an awesome mod that could be. All someone needs to do is make it.
  10. So there is a dwemer remaining alive still, I found reading up on my Elder Scrolls lore. He contracted vampirism before all of the dwemer race disappeared, and brought almost 100 of those left to somewhere in Valenwood. He was possibly looking for a cure for his vampirism and for some of the other followers of his. Maybe he could be visiting Skyrim to be blessed by the Vigilants of Stendarr and possibly be cured of his vampiric ways?
  11. Not really likely, because the dwemer mocked the other races for their worship of the daedra and instead worshiped Julianos. You know that's a great idea! My original idea was an elevator down to the mantle and there it is, but this quest idea is fantastic!
  12. I was actually thinking of that concept earlier today. In Dawnguard, you find the last of the Snow Elves. Why not in this, you find the last of the Dwemer? Also the idea of a chaurus hive is great but, what would be better than bugs that spit poison? They spit magma? Shoot stingers? The possibilities are endless! Oh god what have I done
  13. Could there be the option to kill them all? because the Aedra (Divines) are mortal y'know
  14. Well, I've did a fair amount of research into the lore of the dwemer and it says they probably didn't go beyond blackreach, I'm just suggesting the idea of "what if they did"
  15. Could it be possible to extend the Stormcloak Questline too? I mean, some of us prefer to be on the side of the Nords than the Imperials
  16. The Idea So everyone knows that the dwemer lived underground and eventually stopped digging because the entire race disappeared. But what if some of the dwemer still existed? What if they kept digging down beyond Blackreach? What then? Would they reach the core of Nirn? Would they reach some sort of firelands below Tamriel? The Plan So I was thinking of the entrance to whatever will be under Blackreach to be some sort of special elevator that goes down below the huge cavern. I don't know. What happens is kind of up to whoever makes this mod, because I don't know how to make mods for the life of me, so this mod idea is up for grabs. Possible Places -The Sea of Fire: An ocean of magma, dotted with small, fiery islands, connected by walkways of stone and ebony. -The Firelands: A region of constant volcanic activity, with the characteristics of the Deadlands of Mehrunes Dagon. It is home to plants also commonly found in that plane of Oblivion. -Harvobz, the last Dwemer city: An intact city still bustling with it's inhabitants. The city is home to the Temple to Julianos, the Fiery Tankard Inn, a Stellarium, and the University of Mechanics. They also have a library full of lexicons, filled with the knowings of the last existing dwemer. -Coreforge: The only of it's kind, aside from the Aetherium Forge, this forge runs purely on the heat of Nirn's core and the magma surrounding it. It can create the strongest of armors, the sharpest of weapons, the keenest of bows, even the most powerful of staves. The only thing missing, though, is it's heat regulator... -The Hive: A place where even the bravest of adventurers avoid. It is the palace of the Chaurus Queen, and swarming with chaurus hunters and a new breed of chaurus that can spit death and fire stingers from a distance. Only the strongest of the strong or the maddest of the insane would dare venture here...
  17. Even though it is dead, wouldn't Yokura (yes it is a continent) be a more appropriate for what he had in mind?
  18. http://th00.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2012/058/c/0/my_little_mages_complete_by_didj-d4r821l.jpg SOMEONE MAKE THESE INTO ARMORS PLEASE AND THANK YOU! Oh come on, don't make me do it myself
  19. So I had this idea of making a mod that has all the realms of the daedric princes. I started up Creation Kit and tried making Moonshadow, Azura's realm, when I realized that I don't know how to make mods for the life of me! Here's the realms that I had in mind: -The Ashpit (Malacath) -Moonshadow (Azura) -The Colored Rooms (Meridia) -Quagmire (Vaermina) -Hunting Grounds (Hircine) -Tournament of Ten Bloods (Boethia) -Evergloam (Nocturnal) -The Shivering Isles (Sheogorath) -Coldharbour (Molag Bal) -The Pits (Peryite) -The Deadlands (Mehrunes Dagon) -Some more of Sanguine's realms -Paradise (Mehrunes Dagon) -The realms of the Ten Aedra (Akatosh, Dibella, Mara, Arkay, Julianos, Zenithar, Kynareth, Stendarr, Lorkhan and Talos) if possible And of course, they are connected to Skyrim by Oblivion Gates. If you decide to add all of the realms of Oblivion AND Aetherius, that would be amazing! Work on them all at once, or one realm at a time, I don't really care. If you add just one like, say, Moonshadow or The Colored Rooms, I won't be disappointed If someone with amazing modding skill could do all this, it would probably be the biggest mod on the Nexus ever. With the Dragonborn DLC comes Apocrypha (Hermaeus Mora), so don't really bother with that realm
