  1. Hi, thank you for your tip. I backed up my *.inis and created new ones with the launcher (no aa, everyhting on low). Now I could load the save at swindlers den!!! Then I started investigating where my real problem was. I again created new inis with the launcher all settings blown to the max! I still was able to load the save! Then I started comparing my old skyrimprefs.ini with the generated one and changed one parameter at time. This is the faulty parameter I ended up with: fBlockLevel1Distance=140000.0000 Changing this to fBlockLevel1Distance=70000.0000 solved my problem!
  2. Thanks for the fast response! Yeah... I already thougt about that but can't really bring myself to reducing the number of mods. I don't thing the pc isn't up to the task (everyhtings playable, loading times are low, ...) Also I'm afraid of corrupting my Save files in the process. For the first 30h - 40h (on the pc) everything was fine, I could visit Swindlers Den (and some other locations giving me problems now). I also tried creating a clean save (without chaning the number of mods) using http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#tab=Mods_and_Savegames. Is there any way to get more details why skyrim is crashing?
  3. Hi Guys, I started playing Skyrim on my laptop but changed over to my desktop rig because of the better performance. Both pcs use the exact same Skyrim Setup (*.inis, Mods, ...) managed by ModOrganizer. On my desktop rig, when trying to fast travel to (or walk in the direction of) "Swindler's Den" it ctds (also other locations affected). On my laptop everything works just fine (but isn't really playable with all the mods, see loadorder at the bottom) Desktop: Intel Q9550 6 GB Ram Nvidia 670 GTX 2GB @ 314.07 WHQL (already tried 310.90) Notebook Intel i7 2720QM 8 GB Ram Nvidia GT 540M 2GB @ 310.90 WHQL Can anyone give me any hint why my pc is crashing to the desktop from the loading screen? What I already tried (all this works on the laptop, and fails for the pc): - Disabling HiRes Texture Pack - Disabling some other HD stuff - Running Skyrim throug SBW - Loading a save at swindlers den (created on the laptop) - Updating nvidia drivers on the pc (not on the laptop) and - Loading Save without any mods (failed of course... on both, laptop and pc) - and some other stuff I can't remember right now... I also took a look at some performance measures but nothing special (max ram @70%, max vram @65%, fps alwys over 30) I already tried papyrus output but couldn't find much (Loaded a Save in whiterun, fast travel to swindlers den) Loadorder (BOSS managed): Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini Any help would really be appreciated
