I decided to follow boone, and he went into the repconn gift shop and just walked around in there. Eventually 2 ncr troopers and 2 shop npcs also walked in. So I'm guessing that's the 0,0 position? Is there a way to fix this?

All of the NPCs in a town sometimes gather up and just leave, traveling throughout the wasteland. For example a couple of the Boomers walked all the way into the middle of the wasteland, and were still talking about how they never leave the air force base. And once I noticed all the people in the Crimson Caravan gather outside and wander off. This doesn't happen everywhere, and they do return eventually, but I haven't noticed a pattern. Also my companion Boone just wanders off in a random direction and no matter what I do he doesn't stop, but when I go into a house or fast travel, he's there, but then wanders off again when we leave. ED-E doesn't do this however. Just to make sure, this isn't part of the game or plot or anything right? And anyone know how to fix it?
