The initial crash may have left temporary (.TMP) files on your harddisk - not sure of the precise tech details but every time you try accessing the same area, corrupt data in one of these .tmp files gets referenced & the crash repeats - try clearing them down (run a search & delete them). Works for me & it's a good place to start. Cheers. SG
