I am familiar with Skyrim Redone, but I'm holding that off for a different play through. The reason being because it overhauls so much, that you almost have to mode with that in mind, kind of like building a computer and locking down all your other choices by picking the Mobo. If that makes sense. I plan on experimenting with a lot of mods, and I know SkyRe, because it is so thorough, I hesitate. Edit: I'm not opposed to SkyRe, it's just that it's not as compatible as ACE. So if someone can make a decent case for it, I'd be fine with it.

Yap same 502 bad gateways. I'm not overreacting like others about "rethinking premium". I love the site, just wish this problem would get resolved.

So the topic says it all. I'm starting up a new game, and for the life of me, I can't decide between the two as the both seem to have their own pros and cons. I like how Ace makes specializations with like Archery, but I like the overall combination of the automatic perks and design towards high level gameplay as well. So, if you were to choose one, which would it be? Or if you have another one, let me know. Edit: On a seperate note, regardless of which mod I choose, is there any benefit with going with combat realism? I know ACE already has that in there, and I'd have to disable the realistic fighting one, but what about SPERG?

I mean, I definitely take Skyrim over any one of those games, but in it's totality... the fact that you made a character and carried him over the trilogy, is something special and something I doubt we'll really see again.

In response to post #9123347. #9131189 is also a reply to the same post. It's interesting that you say Fallout is more creative when they are a ripoff of another game. I love fallout mind you, but I have a hard time calling any ripoff "creative".

After a year of hiatus, I thought I'd hop back onto skyrim and decide to start a new game. Since I had been gone so long, I decided to do a cleaning of my Skyrim folder to be able to start fresh, and especially to try out the new Mod Configurator. I was rather shocked to find out the fold was over 115 GB! Maybe that isn't much, but I was shocked in any case. So, it got me wondering, How big is YOUR Skyrim?

So I've run into a few problems with my game that I figure are the result of old files from when I was running Steam mods. Yes I unregistered over there, but NMM is still showing some strange esm and esp files under the mod list. Specifically, the two problems I'm having at the moment is that I downloaded an Aela and Mjoll face lift mods and both of them are without tattoos and Vilja is unable to summon her mount. As I stated on chat a short time ago, she just squats down with a blue ball in her hand and just sits there... doing god knows what. Anywho, I figure the problem is a conflict with one of the mods. However, without knowing which particular mod, I feel like the only option I have is to do a clean install, then reinstall the mods. Is this option a bit too draconian? Any other advice the fix the aformentioned problem (specifially the Vilja one as that one is the one of most import to me at the moment), then feel free to comment.
