hey hey guys, i`ve got a little problem with my music and i mean just the music in skyrim. I suddenly dont have music anymore the normal voices and sounds of fighting and so on are still there but the gernerell music is turned off and i dont know why, the strange thing about that is, that in an older save game to music works but and don´t want to load this anymore because its too old :biggrin: i´ve tried nearly everything from steam repair to turn off and on my music mods ... got anbody a better idea? sry for bad english im german :biggrin: thanks PS: I discovered something new....when i am at the loading screen when the music should turn on i could hear that the music is going to start but than suddenly seams to turn quiet and than there is no more music...so please if anybody got an idea please help me :D

Hey Guys i don´t know how to discribe my problem but im going to try. There a some particular areas or places in Skyrim where my hole screen turns into an unwanted visual effect which look´s a bit like a weak Nightvision. I can´t explain by myself i´ve tried to deactivate all the mods which might have something to do with this problem but nothing changed......for expample the at the main quest where you have to enter the SkyTemple through the cave...., when im outside my hole game looks normal but after the loadscreen in the cave there is this S***** effect and its really annoying. But its not only in caves it also happens outside while walking suddently the game got this nightvision effect... i hope somebody could help my and no its not that im touching a key which might activate the nightvision it just happening. Thanks and sry for my bad english i am german ;)

well my PSU waittttt a moment :D 600 Watt be quiet! Power 7 Non-Modular 80+ Silver i think u mean that one, didn´t you? and the case has got a case ordering ...ehm....something :D and i also got a Arctic Cooling Arctic Freezer 13 Pro i think that should be enough ;)

I wouldn't listen to the guy above, I don't think he really knows what he's talking about. 32 bit OSes only using 4GB of RAM a glitch!? LOL, thanks, for the laugh... That graphics card is great and for Skyrim, I would definitely recommend it over a Nivdia card (unless you want to spend even more money on it). The extra VRAM of the 7950 will really help with mods and the Gigabyte card has good cooling, just make sure it will fit in your case, though! The extra fans it has will keep it nice and cool, but they also make it longer than a reference card. Don't worry, you made a good choice. I would put Skyrim on your SSD, though, it won't help FPS, but it will greatly improve loading times. Anyway, the specs you listed are great, but just so you know, the Z77 mobo you listed supports overclocking, but you have a locked (non-k) CPU, so you can't use that feature. That's fine if you don't want it, though. I personally have the ASRock Z75 Pro 3 (almost the exact same mobo, just a slightly different chipset) and I really like it. Also, if you want to save some money, consider only 8GB of RAM, it's totally up to you, but gaming alone can't use 16GB. What PSU are you going to get? Don't skimp on that part when the rest of your build has really quality parts. I say you did a good job picking parts. Gute Arbeit! so u mean i should install skyrim on the ssd too? and what about the mods? if im going to run a lot of them at the same time they might need a whole lot of space, or could i install the mods on the 1tb hard drive? and what do u mean with PSU? and thanks for the reply :D it really motivates me ^^

well the graphic card was an idea from one of my student friends, he got a similar one a said that it would be completely ok to use that one...if u look at the price of a geforce with this attitudes u just find even more expensive ones. so i decided to buy this one and i hope or i think that it would be completely enough ^^ well my other systems hm... i gonna boot the system (windows 7 or 8 don´t know yet) on a SSD with 128 GB and the Games like sykrim and so on a going to run from a 1TB harddrive with a speed of 7200...well than im going to use a freezer^^of course and yeah i think that should be enough or do u think that there might be some disadvantages with the graphic card i´m using? AND to the other guys who are looking for new pc! Follow the advice of ArtMurder :D is completely right what he just said ;) a self constructed and designed pc is almost better than a complete system ;) ah and sry for my english sometimes :D im from germany so hope its not to annoying ;)

well look at my hardware...im going to buy a complete new system with everything and yeah it costs about less than 1000 Euro so nearly 1350 Dollar

Then we need more information from you please... What resolution and anti aliasing do you intend to run Skyrim at? What frames per second do you target? Which texture packs are you considering? Which size textures are you wanting to go up to - 1k, 2k. 4, or 8k? Do you want just the environment textures improving or are you intent on completely replacing most Skyrim textures? Shall you be running ENBseries? What other mods are you planning on using - city overhauls, environmental overhauls (trees, flora etc). quest mods etc.? My pc is rather old now so I have no idea how your planned pc will run Skyrim, but as Mega7ron has already stated, your specification will probably be ok. ehm let me think, i´m going to run such mods the first time. i´ve never played games with mods befor but it´s my aim to play skyrim with a hole band width of new textures like u said i would like to have especially environmental texture pacs but also city overhauls and enhancements.... but i got one question: what means the size of textures?(1k,2k,4k,8k?) i didn´t get this part but yeah..i nearly want to improve as much as i can from my character over environment city´s houses and so on. thanks for u´r reply by the way ^^
