  1. Thank you I think that was all I needed to fix the issue.
  2. Well I just spent half an hour trying to find a single person who has put up on the internet WHERE in the modsettings.lsx file I am to put the stuff in the info.jason files. The only thing anyone said was a single line from one game journal website that simply said copy and past the stuff in the Info file into the modsettings file but never said or showed where in the file the script is supposed to be placed.
  3. Ok so I tried using the Vortex mod manager and when I booted up the game it ran fine mostly because nothing I installed actually did anything. I figured the problem might be with Vortex so I tried Candor and the same thing. Finally I just installed them normally and still I have no effect from the mods at all. Was I supposed to activate them somehow. Maybe alter a settings file, because its acting like nothing happened at all.
  4. So I didn't see a post for requests for mods for Skyrim VR so I just put this here. I only have one request for the wonderful people who make the mods I find so enjoyable... please fix the wonky controls for the Oculus Rift. We don't need both a strafe button on the left stick AND by pointing the controller. If I go off another damned cliff because I am strafing one way on the stick and another with the controller then I will scream.
  5. Ok I have spent 8 hours today trying to figure this out/find a tutorial on this. I am trying to make a replacement mesh for the default bodies in Fallout New Vegas. I found quite a few on how to make static items and even a few on how to make armor, and I even tried to modify the tutorials on how to make armor to work with the bodies. Nothing seems to work. I have all the appropriate plugins for max and I thought I would start out simple and merely modify a model that I know already worked so I used the .inf for a body replacer I downloaded. I imported it modified the mesh and then exported it. When I started up the game all I got was a screen full of disjointed polygons. I then went through too many forum posts to think about trying to find the answer. I eventually tried just importing the pre made .inf, not changing a thing, and export it. It was only a marginal success with the body completely missing now leaving me a floating head and hands. I know this is not an impossible task and I would like to know how to do this. If I ever get this figured out I plan on making a detailed tutorial to guide others through similar problems.
