  1. Can somebody make a mod that adds in the original "Big Frigger" brand powerfist? Bethesda has progressively made the powerfist more and more lame, with fallout 3's being a pneumatic piston on a glove and 4's being just a pneumatic piston strapped to your wrist. I want the classic model back, the one that used the same technology as the classic supersledge (which bethesda also ruined in 4)
  2. But those aren't anything near what I want. I want a pulse gun like the one in Fallout 2, neither of those mods fit the bill for me :/
  3. Bump, this is getting buried pretty quickly :/
  4. Um... what's wrong with vanilla Skyrim dual wielding to where you need mods for it to work correctly? ._.
  5. Huh. I didn't know you could actually do this o.o Well, this'll certainly be useful when using total conversion mods. :)
  6. Can somebody make a weapon mod that adds this in? For the pistol version, this picture here could be a good reference - https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=fallout+yk32+pulse+pistol&view=detailv2&&id=0FC99A70F43FE2C37F1FE1C04CB490F386231C81&selectedIndex=3&ccid=amkO4YaZ&simid=608048494199898343&thid=OIP.M6a690ee18699aa4a92ce27044ef6abc8o0&ajaxhist=0 (I do not claim ownership nor any credit for the image) And if someone makes it, remember, it shoots purple electrical "pulse" projectiles. I'd say the projectile mirelurk kings shoot at you could be used for that, just recolor them I suppose. I also would like the projectile to travel much faster than plasma projectiles.
  7. It's almost kinda silly how many shortcuts Bethesda took by using a good portion of Skyrim's under-the-hood assets. (Assaultron Laser Spell FTW) Anyway, I figured out a while back that changing the player's race in the console works. Hell, I even managed to change my race to Dremora. Of course nothing visually nor gamelplay-wise had changed due to the "meat" assets not being there, but it certainly seems the "bones" are there. Anyone wanna help me out here? I'm probably going to take a race mod off the Skyrim nexus and test porting it to Fallout 4. If it works I'll ask the author of that mod if I could put the ported mod on the FO4 nexus. But overall, this is just a little experiment if anything.
  8. Can someone make a mod that lets you play as a S'Lanter? I'm fine with however it's done, as long as some degree of customization is present, and it isn't too much of a hassle to start a new game without needing some wonky, unwieldy alternative start mod like the ones currently available.
  9. I'd love this. Then toss it out in the trash when I get my hands on a mod like, say, this here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61931/? for FO4 xD lol but still I'd appreciate a mod like this, good luck.
  10. I was very dissapointed when I found out Fallout 4 didn't do anything cool or revolutionary or... anything whatsoever with Chinese stealth suits like what was done with power armor. Can someone make a stealth suit mod? Like, one that would be an alternative to PA? Complete with customization, a cyber-ey looking hud, etc.?
  11. I recently figured out player.setrace actually still works, in fact I managed to set my character's race to dremora :0 However this affected basically nothing... Is there any way I could sorta, like, "launder" content from Skyrim to be used in Fallout 4 using the Creation Kits? I want to see if I can make setrace do something for real. Thanks :)
  12. When did I request any measurements? And for what? o.o
  13. The Nexus won't let me post from my phone for some odd reason, and I only check this website once a week or so... It is too depressing being on here, too many negative people... It is like one big Bethesda hate club... But I got the general idea, a human with wolf attributes, primarily the legs and hands. I am unclear on whether you want the whole thing to be furry, so I am just going to roll with whatever looks best as I sculpt. I am making no promises as to how someone is going to get these legs working right on the New Vegas rig, that is all beyond me, but throwing together a Zbrush model is simple enough for me. Well I doubt it'll be hard to make digitigrade feet, people have been able to make skeleton mods that add compatibility for tails, wings etc. I believe so a simple feature like the three jointed legs would be a somewhat easy, though possibly very technical thing to do.
  14. Please don't be dead... PLEASE don't be dead... This is my dream mod, please if there's any progress share it, I really would like to learn if it's still going or is dead sooner than later ;~;
  15. It's a gamebryo engine, but it will have 4 years of advancements, just like skyrim had over FO3/FONV. I think there will be some big improvements over skyrim (think for instance of the advantages skyrim had in it's havoc engine vs fallout). Bows have been possible since the early TES games (oblivion for instance) days. The physics or code isn't the issue, it's the animations. We would need an animator and even if we have one I'm not sure whether we have an open slot for that animation type (I don't know the details by heart), and if we don't I'm not sure a replacer is a good idea. But the game engine itself is fine with it, heck you can make missiles/projectiles with any animations. Want a spell caster for a VR, that's just a new animation. Want a implant that fires lasers from your eyes, yep, just another animation. So for practical purposes I think a bow is, unfortunately out of the question :sad: Not only is making the animations a problem, but making one unique from the bow animations in Oblivion is an issue too. Bethesda enforces their philosophy with an iron fist, and that philosophy is that to each game it's own resources. They've already taken down mods that ported over horses and bows directly from oblivion, if this mod were to include bows the animations would have to be distinct enough from any other game that is a Bethesda property as to not be mistaken as a port. Still, if bows were somehow fit into this mod properly and without stepping on any toes as interpreted by Bethesda, I would love that :smile:
  16. Hey, maybe some time after release of a stable version can there be an alternate plantigrade version? I'm not really a fan of digitigrade feet.
  17. Give me a little context here brother, what escalated quickly? FONV. It's possible models can be ported to FO4 down the line. In regard to actual assets, I can't develop, with any confidence, for a game that hasn't been released. There will surely (as Rae1Vixen points out) be substantial differences between FONV/FO3 and FO4. It took some time (and new nifscripts) to develop a workflow for Skyrim's nifs when it initially released (including jumping back and forth between various versions of blender for exporting), and I'd imagine it will be teh same for FO4. FO4 should have at least as many body slots as skyrim though, which would be an advantage. Instead of the armor/outfit having to be custom made and/or additional armor addons for anthropomorphic body parts, specific custom armor pieces can be used for the races. For example, your probably familiar with mixing and matching pieces of armor for various bonuses and just for looks in Skyrim. If we have at least the same choices in FO4 you can use some of the vanilla armor for the upper body, but have custom footwear for anthros. I mean, all of a sudden you and the other guy came out of nowhere and were like "I can help." Also idk about the whole using armor slots thing, a lot more of those are actually used now because armor is no longer a big onesie with a helmet. Armor is split up into various components ala Morrowind apparently.
  18. Well that escalated quickly, looks like help has arrived Can't wait until it's finished! BTW is the final mod going to be for Fallout 4 or NV? Or for NV then ported to 4?
  19. Meh, I probably will. It looks like there will be a ton to do, and since I've never finished any Elder Scrolls or Fallout aside from Oblivion, I doubt I will be getting past the surface scratching by the time an anthro race mod of some form comes around. BTW Improvman, don't rush. Fallout 4 is still a ways away, and it won't be going anywhere for a long time. There's lots of time for you to learn to 3D model. ;)
