  1. In response to post #43745370. "You'll still be able to use NMM offline, and install mods manually (download the mod to your hard-drive, then drag and drop the mod from your hard-drive to NMM), you just won't be able to login and download files from within NMM" You don't have to install them manually, only download manually. No need to be scared, the only difference is that you have to left click a different download button, that's it. The whole installation process in NMM is still exactly the same.
  2. Maybe I'm the only one, but I really don't like the radiant quests and don't want to do them since I consider them to be a waste of time (not to offend anyone who actually likes them, it's just my opinion). However, when I get a new radiant questline, I always need to do a couple of them to realize that their actually endless. Time I would have rather used for some "real" quests. It would be awesome if someone could make a mod that would add a little (radiant) in front of the names of those kind of quests in the pip boy's quest tab to immediately recognize them!
  3. My system is in fact a very good one. But I don't know if it can handle it, I just wanted to give it a shot. I put everything from the data folder from Opethfeldt (opeth_weather.esp and sun.dds) into my data folder, it still doesn't work. And I'm a little bit afraid of trying to install the ENB again. And since older saves before I started modding still function, it would make sense that one of those mods and not the ENB causes the problem, wouldn't it? Edit: I tried it and eventually got the ENB running. Pushes my system to the edge. But unfortunately, the saves still don't work.
  4. Yes, I load it via SKSE. Also tried it via TESV.exe, it makes no difference. Still the same problem. The mentioned files are not in my data folder. Is this good or bad? Offtopic: Such nice people around here!
  5. I now runned BOSS and it didn't change the load order at all. But on the "Recognised Plugins" tab it sais "Bash Tag suggestion(s): {{BASH: Delev, Relev}}" on some plugins. And on some of them it sais "Contains dirty edits: 92 ITM, 3 UDR records. Needs TES5Edit cleaning." When I run Tes5edit I don't get any errors or something. And I'm pretty sure I have every mod installed that I used for my saves.
  6. Thanks for your answer! I'm going to download Tes5edit right now and try it out. Yes, I can start a new game. And indeed there is a file called d3d9.dll in my system32 folder. But I don't remember putting it there myself. What to do with it?
  7. Thank you very much! I now found and installed the Creation Kit. When I load my game with all the mods I get like a thousand warnings. I just clicked "yes" for like ten minutes and there's no end to it. Some of them say that there are textures or environment maps missing, that a texture doesn't contain mipmaps, that it's not unique, that marker properties mismatch etc. What to do now?
  8. No, I don't get any error message, the game just closes. What's this creation kit and how do I get it? Never heard or read of it, like I said, I'm a newbie to modding.
  9. I already tried this, unfortunately it didn't work.
  10. Hello Community I'm having a problem with my save files since yesterday. Here's what happened: I installed several mods suggested by Gopher in his Beginner's Guide. Those are: -SKSE -A Quality World Map -Better Dialogue Control -Better Dynamic Snow -Climates of Tamriel (incl. Sounds) -iHud -Realistic Lighting Overhaul -Skyrim HD LITE -SkyUI -SMIM -Unofficial High Resolution Patch -Unofficial Skyrim Patch -W.A.T.E.R. So far, so good, to this point everything worked and was just fine. But then I tried to install the Opethfeldt ENB, and here the problems start. After installing the ENB I couldn't start Skyrim anymore. When I tried to start it, there appeared an error message that said something like "the file d3dx9_43.dll (or something similiar) is missing". Since I didn't want to mess up my game any further, I stopped right there and undid every change I've made in the process of the installing in reverse order. After this, I still got the error message. I uninstalled and reinstalled all the mods I had before, nothing worked. So I decided to reinstall Skyrim from scratch. Now I can open the game without problems, but my saved games don't load. Right after clicking the load-button or during the loading screen, the game closes and I get thrown at my desktop without an error message or anything like that. What I found to be really strange: There are some old saves that I can load. Those are saves created before I started modding the game or just after beginning with modding. I can also create a new game. Can you somehow help me to get these saves working again or are they lost? I'd appreciate your help very much! And please also tell me whether I have made any mistakes I shouldn't, since I'm fairly new to modding I could use the critique. If you need more information in order to help me, please tell me. Thank you very much!
