Summerset Isles Mod- "The Remnants"
Swamianand replied to spectrosoldier's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
@thaimexico: In this case, because it is nonsense. This mod is not flawed at all. I've played it, including all sidequests and I had not a single issue, questwise. This mod is ambitious in many ways. Not all the quests are that simple like in the vanilla game. You have to look and to think twice very often, that's it. Especially on a already heavy modded game you need to tweak your setup and loadorder intensely to keep the game stable but this is usual with a mod that size, but that's all.- 12 replies

Try to load all your WATER plugins close to the bottom in your load order and see if that helps. CTD's can caused by thousand of reasons. But having CTD's only in specific location/situation is mod related. And in most of all cases it's a load order issue. First the main plugin of WATER, of course. Below the aditional WATER plugins. All of them in one block and the block close to the bottom.

"Object Fade" Setting & Random Stuttering (on powerful PC)
Swamianand replied to njkilleen's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I had the same issue. My Microstutter ( I call it like that) only appear outside and never in interior cells. My FPS was jumping between 32 and 70 frames outdoors ( 60 with vsync on) My Specs are different ( i2500K @ 3,7 GHZ, 8GB RAM, HD 7870 2GB VRAM, No SSD ) What has resolve the issue completely for me was overclocking my CPU to 4,3 GHZ, turning vsync off and capped my FPS at 40 FPS via framelimiter. Maybe that might help you too. Good luck !- 55 replies

I believe that you need to troubleshooting your issue outside from SKSE, because I never used the iTintTextureResolution option in my SKSE-Ini but all my warpaints are looking perfect. For an example you can take a look at my Image Section, the Images of Aurora (the middle and the last one). Screen resolution and texture quality (In the Game launcher) will affect thoose things too. As well as the resolution of the warpaint itself of course. As for the SKSE installation, make sure you have the last SKSE files including their scripts and not any mix, like new SKSE but ols script files. The SKSE.ini has to go in the \Data\SKSE folder. The SKSE files itself in the Skyrim folder. If SKSE is running and the above requirements are fulfilled, there should not be any issues with SKSE and the SKSE.ini

This is a punishment nobody deserved. Especially for those who did some nice sets about a mod, a special quest or a special place in skyrim and of course for all the storytellers with the lot of work they have put in their storys and images. Most of these sets are ruined now. That's all because of a small cosmetic correction ?

Virus scan reports now visible on file pages, more security incoming
Swamianand replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Also from my side: Thanks for the investigation, the solution and all the other work you did, to keep this site running. Great Job ! -
Hi Stefan ! The Internet Connection you need only for the registration process and to obtain the latest updates and patches. It's important to have your game up to date for maximum stability and performance. During gameplay I suggest to play offline to improve performance. The rest of your questions can not be easily answered in general. It's all a question of what your computer can handle and which result you want to have. For a huge amount of HiRes textures and/or ENB mods you should have at least 2 MB VRAM for a smooth gameplay. iPresentInterval=0 disabled VSYNC which can improve the perfomance on some rigs. But you should know that FPS above 60 can cause weird glitches in the game physics and other bugs. You will receive a lot of hints and tips, but most of them are individual opinions and adjustment which will not work for everybody. One thing you should know: If you once start modding your game, you will spend much more time with hese things than enjoying your gameplay ;) Good luck and have fun !

ENB Candles too dark, windows too bright
Swamianand replied to TeaKeii's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
First you should install "Mindflux Particle Patch" before you start tweeking your ENB Preset. Of course only if it not was already included in the ENB. Ingame you press Shift+Enter to show up the ENB configuration panel. In the [fire] section you can now tweak the candlelight. In the section [windowlight] you can tweak the brightnes of the windows. Good luck ;) -
Three questions about follower equipment
Swamianand replied to shadowhunterEEP's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The most easy way to change an NPC's equipment is by using any of the follower-overhauls like UFO, AFT, etc... With these Mods you get a dialog option which gives you the full control over any followers gear. I'm using UFO btw. Happy Gaming ;) -
Mhm... I'm using an ATI-Card so I can't say anything about the best Driver for your board, but the latest driver is not inevitable the best, except you have a brand new Graphic Board. The act with the CFF-Explorer will not do anything, except you have a very old Game Version. The only suggestions I could do with the informations I have is: Update your Game to the latest Version. Disable all third-party security software before you start the game. Disable all Autostart application you may have. Reduce the AA-Settings Ingame down to 2x Ensure you have no Malware running. Hope it helps ;) Good luck !

Hi kaam14 ;) I don't like to write that but you really need to read the descriptions befor installing any mod :) "As of 4.0.7 This mod (RLO) is no longer compatible with Enhanced Lights and FX" Additional its like missjennabee mentioned: Its a game engine limitation: If there are more than 4 lightsources on any mesh (object) you get those flickering. Hope you get solved your issues ;)

Well, to be honest. I'm also being annoyed sometimes, when I want to have a quick look or a quick download here and getting stuck instead. But never mind. You did a great side, the best of this kind I would say. As a freelance computersupporter I know that also on my end, things do not always go as I would have liked. Keep up your great work and good luck, health and fun for 2014 ;)

About the character creation: I'm pretty sure that this issue is caused by a follower mod, but sadly I can't remember which one it was. However, the author of this mod already solved that issue via update, but there might be other follower mods with similar issues. Hope its helps
