  1. Alright, I've looked EVERYWHERE. I'm looking for the textures used for the mausoleum in the Soul Cairn, because I'd like to generate some LOD and the tower is in my worldspace. I have nifs everywhere. And they don't seem to be in the soulcairn.objects.dds (or something like that). Anybody have any clue where I can find these?
  2. Everything is Denver on my end with the settings, so whatever. And the cord is replaceable, so I won't throw them away quite yet.
  3. Well, I discovered the solution rather by chance. I unplugged my headphones since they were annoying me and the sound was playing fine from the speakers. When I plugged the headphones back in, everything was distant again. Upon inspection, it turns out my headphone cable has a hole in it. :P It worked fine with SOS in that case.
  4. It was set to that. I do have SOS (assuming you mean Sounds, not ... that other one). I also have Player Voicesets.
  5. This is the strangest bug. Whenever I sheath/unsheathe, walk, hit something, anything, it all sounds like it's several metres away, and really faint. Even the music and menu sounds are barely audible. Is this a mod problem or something else...?
  6. I've been playing with the excellent Aemer's Refuge Continued mod for quite some time now, and one of my favorite parts of that mod was the trophy room. It has specific spaces for all Daedric and unique items, even Black Books and whatnot. Unfortunately, as I continued in my game, the home was too large and started getting laggy. So I want to make my own home with a similar room for my next playthrough, but have no idea how to make something like a weapon plaque accept a specific item. Help?
  7. I know I saw it. Somewhere, there was a mod that had you put the spells you wanted to use into a spell book, and then those were the only spells you could use until returning somewhere and changing the book. Does anyone know where this mod is or what it's called? I'd really like to try it, and my scripting knowledge isn't near good enough to make it myself...
  8. That is, say I want to script a spell that will let the player control an npc for as long as their magicka holds out (and with an initial investment)? I know Wyrmstooth had an event sort of like that, but I don't want to download it again and spend a long time looking in the creation kit for how it worked...plusit wasn't really a spell. And is it possible to, once control has been swapped, change the items in the npc's inventory and not the player's? Any help whatsoever would be appreciated.
  9. I've just recently started to get crashing of all types: freezing, infinite loading screens and CTD. I just recently installed all the SoSes and Open Cities, but followed the installation instructions exactly and used BAIN... I'm using the RealVision ENB. My Graphics card is an NVidia Geforce 765m and I've got 8GB of RAM. i7 quad core. I don't know if this is caused by mods confilcting or what. I have also cleaned all the mods BOSS said to.   10. So I can't drag an autoload door into the worldspace or it's hidden. How do I set one up? Edit: Markers were off. Sorry.
  11. So I have a cave dungeon built but can't for the life of me find the "load door" for the exterior or interior to connect it to the world. I know cave's don't use doors but more of opeings but I just ... can't .. find it. Also, if I want to create a new area (say, a vale) outside of Skyrim's borders, how do I get it so that the cell shows up where I want it to on the map?
  12. Title says it all. I'm relatively new to Papyrus and I'm bad with the syntax. I just need to know how to advance a quest to a new stage by reading a book.
  13. Sweet yeah it's purple now. So red is only bad if I uninstal a big .esm file like jaysus swords or something? Or just Update or dlcs?
  14. So I'm using Wrye Bash to organize my mods, of which there are 70ish plus a bashed patch and some merged patches. I just recently got rid of CBBE and the CBBE tweaked armor pack and replaced them with Dimonized UNP (and vanilla armor for the time being). All my saves have turned to red which means missing master now. Are my saves corrupt or are they still playable? I don''t see any hit to performance in the game, but I just wanted to ask. Edit: Just remembered that I also replaced Envision Face with Coverwomen at the same time.
