  1. Radroachs has some legs similar to spider legs. So anachrophobic players and modders around here doesnt like it and make some effort to get rid of it. Lore-wise, considering radroach meat is not too poisonous, people would hunt it if it is too noticeable, since there's economic return. So it rarely can grow to giant size
  2. That was already doable. All it need is pure muscle works. We got various radio platform. Say RACE. Get it. Choose the music files from approriate game. This is actually the hard hard work. I wasted weeks on this, really. Use audio app to change music files according to RACE spec. RACE has documents about it. Then voila. A radio mod customized to your taste. Dont expect mods providing such music files, though, as it's copyrighted content. All such mods get deleted in the past.
  3. Do we have any mod creating such scenery or make a nif of that direction? There was crystal in OWB dlc and a pink crystal mod which can serve as a type of glass crystal created from superheated plasma condition. But I dont think there's any mod... I might be wrong though~ let's hope have something, even if just nearly similar to that.
  4. MO2 has a check in profile to auto validate sheesh. So I can click on it once and f*#@ing forget about it~ Which is why I recommended MO2. You know what is, and what is not, where to check. Total noob-friendly. And I dont pretend to be a veteran and mess with things I shouldnt. If those "seen everywhere" instructions dont help you... doesnt that say something very clearly about Vortex, innit? And you, too. Since obviously you dont get those seen everywhere instructions . ---- I will be patient and found a video tut for you: get to Setting button on the left, click that, get to Workaround tab, click that. There's that nice and clear Archive Invalidation section with that nicely green button for ya... No seriously. I am not a veteran so I wouldnt pretend to be one and messing with things clearly over my head~ I will act like a noob and play with something noob-friendly.
  5. And I quote Vortex has archive invalidation — just go to tools and it should be listed on there (I think the exact words are BSA invalidation). Just enable it and a new mod will appear on your mod list called ArchiceInvalidation. in vortex go to setting, second to last tab is called workarounds. under that tab there should be a toggle for bsa redirection. After you active that toggle you will have a new mod with the same name in your mod list. Deactivate it and the reactivate it. It just cleans up some files the game and the mods need. At least that's my understanding of it --- I will note that being newbie, which is what I label myself sometimes, Vortex is the worst you can pick. Only veterans can mess with it. If you call yourself a newbie, stay the eff away from it. Choose MO2.
  6. Set your screen resolution on desktop and in game in number divisible by 8 first~ And there's a LOT of AMD users reporting problem due to newest driver. Quoting from discord If using an AMD GPU and NOT using DXVK, downgrade to the last compatible release (23.12.1) If using Special K, update to the newest version (available on their discord) As a LAST RESORT, uninstall DXVK (remove d3d9.dll from your root folder, note that AMD users will need to revert graphics card drivers to version 23.12.1)
  7. 10 security trons can move from Primm to the Strips in half a night if they force their way through Northern Goodsprings and that deathclaw over there. or circle wide through Primm pass to Novac, risking the raiders (Vipers ) that way. The distance is that short. 5 security trons can move from Primm to the Strip the tutorial way: Primm, cross country toward Nipton but circle the town, on the road toward Wolfhorn then follow 95 up north. The roads allow for fast moving (ideal for their wheels), quick enough they can even outrun ambushers and chasers.
  8. See what I mean? "other people's taste". Most of them want to change the original sounds and musics according to their taste. I dont have objection to their taste, exactly. I just have objection toward installing sound mods that overhaul according to other people's taste Radio station is about the least offense, not that I listen much to others' radio mods these days.
  9. THAT rely on other people's taste~ This day and ages people generally create their own radio playlist for stations. Which is why your thread doesnt get reply. Peole used them is too few, or at least, they are not active here.
  10. An interesting idea, if only lore breaking. Lore breaking, as in it change House's behaviour. Mr House has been acting quite low key, with leaving most of activities in The Strips to 3 mafia groups and some of it to NCR embassy. Outside of Freeside and Strip, his only presence is Victor, reflecting his behaving very unnoticed. If he has enough resource to station securitrons to outside, say Mojave Outpost, or Primm, Sloan, Novac, why did he not organize an armed group moving the Chip as fast as possible from Primm to Strip? using couriers is purely a misdirection tactic of not having not enough muscle. A group of five Securitron can be quite tough indeed~
  11. Sound like navmesh corruption? Usually door info is in navmesh, if you mess with it, there's going to be weird problems with it. Anyway, that's how I would check: navmesh data corruption~
  12. Shady Sands being nuked is a quite likely scenario, if only because it's too near border, too near SF and Oil Rig. Like I said, I dont have problem with this setting. Shi Empire and Enclave might very well have an alliance to fight NCR, and so nuking Shady Sands might very well happened. That said, the opening up westernmost territory like Mojave for farming lands and clean water is even more likely. Let me spell it out for you: C.A.L.I.F.O.R.N.I.A. Since when Cali has enough water? Hydro power? Bah. Good news for companies' prices on market, true, but that' just empty air. Clean water and Arable lands for the new generation of farmers (aka jobs) is what it actually is.
  13. Nothing spoil about them other than the Shady Sands thing. But I disagree about hydro power. In a world with portable fission battery and mini fusion plants, hydro power is not that necessary. Leaving aside SF has Shi which grow plant for burning oil which can be fuel to orbital rocket and sea ship. In Fallout world, Lake Mead is important because it's the biggest source of free clean water on West Coast and Middle States. To get something similar to that lake, Lone Wanderer and East Coast BOS has to fight an army of Enclave, nearly ruin the biggest robot in the world, and suicidally start up a water purifier to provide Aqua Pura. Helios Plant is probabbly it, though.
  14. I am guessing on lighting problem. Clarity remove the orange tint of FNV, and so it meddle with an area lots of lighting mods going to touch. I would suggest to uncheck Clarity first to see if it change. If not, keep Clarity but unchecking Interior Lighting Overhaul. IF not, keep them both but uncheck Atmos lighting tweaks.
  15. YOur load order please~ Barring specific details, I would guess that you run the game on laptop without sufficient resource. uncheck the Lod mods in your load order list.
  16. Use the Save Manager script mod in Nexus to turn it on in Tweaks section, then change settings there as you saw fit, then uninstall that SM scripts. VOILA! It now work as you want without wasting a slot for SM script. At least, that's how I do it in TTW session. (max delay, and 3 autosaves, this mean it autosave whenever going through cells, and if running in a cell too long it autosave)

Jimbo, I am not here to change YOUR, or anyone, long time coding practice, okay~ it works for you guys, so outsiders' suggestion is, highly possible, not just as good as it sounds, even if it doesnt look as effective on paper. If nothing else, I am the guy keep on with Windows 7 instead of moving on, so it's not as if the kettle call the pot black bellied here~ I am just saying, just saying, is that those practices are out of date these days~
  18. it's buggering search results when we search in console, is what. When we search with the term awop (for example) it will show all results with that and we know it's from that mod. But if you search 00 it might be contaminated with other mods doing same practice. And what happen when you mix two or more mods of your own in one session? Wouldnt that one big mess waiting to explode?
  19. I think it's old custom to predate id of your mod with 00 or other custom number. Ie 0000AdobeSearchlightNCRoffices for example. it's considered out of date practice, these days. I think. At least, I dont do numbering editor id.
  20. That was a F3 mod so it's doubtful to work well with TTW, which is original poster was using I would suggest https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68793?tab=posts That was working on TTW. Although Roy said it's not needed because TTW3.3 already integrate such feature, IN YOUR SPECIFIC CASE, it might still work because I suspect your many major mods was overwriting such feature. Which would, maybe, be restored if you install that mod. Install it, get past the scene until you can save again. Uncheck mod. Reload the save and play normally.
  21. CtM is very stable in Mojave side. I can install it midway with Dust running, or in the middle of Mojave campaign in TTW. But if you dont play in MOjave why would you need it installed? Since you can always install it once you play Mojave. Claim the capital (which come with CtM but you dont install) is completely conflict with Rebuild as both of them modify same locations. Obviously because CtC built up based on Rebuild work. Anyway, you uncheck it so no problem here. Rebuild is completely, 100% after Broken Steel. It can only activate once you destroy the Mobile Base Crawler. you can let event happen until after that, then install Rebuild no prob, as I was doing exactly that in my last session with Rebuild just 2 months ago. Before ending Broken Steel, You can only make use of Rebuild assets like armors and guns by cheating with consoles. So Rebuild is, again, unneeded until you complete BS.
  22. Holy FACK! You integrated several major mods into your load order and you complain your session bug out? 1. Rebuild the Capital. This sheeesh work alone. It's not going to work with other major module like Frontier or Claim or any biggie. You complete the main DC campaign then you install this mod and you are going to play from there. DO NOT install it before. It just gonna f*#@ up your terrain data, especially if you get it together with Claim. You dont need Rebuild unless you already complete DC campaign~ 2. Frontier. it's a major module that also should work alone, not with Rebuild, not with Claim, not even with TTW. DO NOT let any bugger tell you otherwise. You dont need the headaches result from Frontier + TTW. 3. Claim the Mojave only work if you plan to play Mojave campaign. If you dont play that side, you dont need CtM. It can be installed midway once you get to Mojave, so dont install it earlier. Repeat: if you are playing DC, you dont need CtM at all. And once you get to Mojave, you can install it no prob. 4. Titan of The New West reportedly have some problem with Rebuild's set of power armor and buildings. Either Titan, or Rebuild, choose one. Also Titan conflict with Frontier's car system, so you going to have to ask over at Titan and Frontier's forums about compat between the two of them. About Claim, I dont know, because you can use other factions than BOS/Enclave in Claim,so I am unsure there's incompat between the two of them. Because you are talking about starting BOS, you are a long way from needing Rebuild: uninstall it for now Because you are in DC, you dont need Claim: uninstall it for now Because you are playing TTW, you dont need Frontier. At least that's my diagnos: uninstall it for now Titan probabbly can work with vanilla TTW power armors. But once you complete DC and can play Rebuild, you are going to have to choose between the two of them. But that's a long way ahead. So leave Titan untouched for now
  23. Check to ensure that your mod is properly archive validated. Vortex or MO2, there's a way to auto validate mods, and if you dont check that option from start, your mods wont get auto validate. Then there's things that if you do, it interrupt the autovalidation process. From what's been described, it sound like the mod(s) that mess with NCR clothes doesnt get validated.

  25. Have you turned off Hardcore before choosing the final choice in Project Purity?
