For now here's Mod Organizer's list of active mods, all the mods with a + in front of them are active ones. Here's my Load Order text; My Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini, both Ewi versions modified for my system (like Grass on Steroids 75) My enblocal text; My enbseries.ini

Thanks for the offer, I'll start doing that. Do you know where I would find those for Mod Organizer? Profiles probably?

I'm still having some CTD errors, but by now I've cut them down to happening with a couple of hours space, which is more or less what you'd minimal expect with a very heavy load order. I was having problems for a long time with loading times taking forever, the game crashing while loading, including crashing while loading something right around the corner, but I uninstalled Audio Overhaul for Skyrim and that killed the error almost entirely. I sitll freeze sometimes when I view an Opulent Mage Robe in the inventory or a shop screen, so I'm going to swap to the 1k version of that. Which is very odd because some things are using 4k textures without any issues at all. Also I actually started using Vampiric Thirst now for my werewolf mod list as well, simply because it makes vampires so much cooler to fight, shifting into a swarm of bats and reforming, tons of blood magic spells, it ups the difficulty on ancient vampires and the like more than any other difficulty specific mod.

Found it, stupidly I just reinstalled HD Skill Interface without even reading the headline to see that the new version (as opposed to the one I used a few months ago) now included interface sounds as well. With those manually taken out however that's a beauitful mod, and works great with PerMa.

Help needed with Perkus Maximus (strange damage values)
Sacremas replied to prinzrhaegar's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Something to keep in mind is that unlike SkyRe which had those modules PerMa is a pure Perk/values(/spell, which relates to perk) overhaul; it's recommended that you use other mods with it that increase the difficulty and mod AI. I'm using the following mods; http://erkeilmods.altervista.org/skyrim/r-s-o/ (not all overhaul parts, just the ones that increase difficulty, except his NPC overhaul since it overwrrites Inhabitants of Skyrim's look) http://erkeilmods.altervista.org/skyrim/enhanced-mighty-dragons/ (as well as Deadly Dragons together) http://erkeilmods.altervista.org/skyrim/enhanced-enemy-ai/ http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36006/? - Ultimate Combat I'm not using ASIS or the like because I don't want to go through the lists and take away spells that doesn't work for NPCs (for example they always seem to get their hands on a telekinesis spell that lifts me up and holds me on the ceiling helpless while they fill me with arrows, every single bandit mage has it), I might in the future however. -
That's great, thank you for your reply, that's probably exactly what happened. I accidentally deleted Automatic Variants after making the above posts from Mod Organizer and recreated it, but it got a different name... then I remembered that I'd already renamed it once. I figured that the texture mods might not know where to go anymore, so I reinstalled all texture packs (turned out one of them was badly packaged and didn't get in the first time as well). I haven't tried it ingame however as I'm still going through the mod list with miser's eye looking for things I can get rid of... so I can add other things. The modder's circle.

I don't know how to view .jsof files to check out the textures on my own, so I'm going to just take the brutal way out for now and disable everything except Bellyache's horse textures. If anyone have any other suggestions I'm open to them. Looking through the AV Patcher's list it turns out that the only files with horses in them were Bellyaches and some of Wolverine's ports, anyone have bad experiences with any of the latter, or is it more likely just a bad download?

(Figured I'd make a separate one for this from the audio problem, let me know if that's bad form) I'm using Automatic Variants and a crapload of texture packs, basically all I could find that were more than 2-3 textures at once, 25 packages in total. However I'm having an issue with blue (as in bright blue missing texture blue) horses, I have no such problems with wolves or any other animals I've seen so far (I'm a low level thief so not many). Is there any way to find out which textures on those horses are not getting through without rebuilding the mod over and over again? Sometimes I see completely blue horses (Cicero's horse, Sofia [follower]'s horse, and one at Windhelm), but most of the time it's just the skin or just the hair that's blue, but I very rarely see a fully colored horse. If I click on the horse and hit 'resurrect' it resets and gets the textures, but if I then enter another area and come back the horses have reset (including the unique Sofia's horse), Any idea how to fix this or what's causing it? I'm using Mod Organizer, and as I said not having any problems with automatic variant skeevers (diabled the pink one), wolves (ditto) and werewolves (yeah that was an embarrasing moment for Farkas... who the hell wants a pink werewolf anyway?).

I've been doing a install via Mod Organizer and working out load orders on three different profiles, for some reason the one I have for Perkus Maximus (300+ mods, 255 esp/m's) have changed the interface sounds, which is weird because the only sound mod I'm using is Audio Overhaul for Skyrim, which is active on the other profiles as well and not doing it there. The alteration is that when I get a quest there's a water drop sound, when I get a skill rank there's a Bdum-Tshh and applause, the one for reading spellbooks is just weird, etc. I really don't like it and I have no idea which mod changed it. Any of that sound familiar to anyone, or do I have to go through the mod list one by one?

Okay thank you for the save cleaner link, that was a great suggestion, for now it seems to have fixed it. The cleaner found 403 loose scripts, which was probably all of them since I'm using Mod Organizer and my Skyrim/Data/Scripts folder has 65 scripts in it in total, but regardless it fixed it. I'm still having that odd Vampiric Thirst bug, and have gone through all of the mod author's suggestions for that bug (remove loose scripts/vampire change script, reset mod from MCM menu) but it just keeps happening, it seems to have stabilized at permanent 60 % blood pool but I'm not sure what will happen when I spend more of it... for now sunlight immunity is not an option. [spoilerS FOR DAWNGUARD - VAMPIRE QUEST LINE] Additionally after finally getting to Castle Vohlikar (getting there from Solitude was the crash problem, it took me 20+ tries) and getitng my Vampire Lord power I ran into another bug, at first everything worked fine and I could initialize the Blood Chalice quest, but halfway across the court room to the chalice I got the red pulse from Vampiric Thirst of my blood being drained (going from 94 % after draining the slave in the Molag Bal room back to 60 %) every vampire in the castle turned hostile towards me (I had not taken any blood potions or the like during the cutscene, that resulted in them being hostile after once as well). I reloaded the save just after getting the VL power then used a teleport to get out of the castle and avoid the scene, I'm going to try to go back there in a few days or whenever this bug subsists and see if they're still hostile.

I'm using SKSE 1.7.1 version with SKSE memory patch. I've used Sheson's Memory Blocks Log plugin to get the memory usage and I've settled on defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=590 I'm going to try to clean the save now, thanks. I've added Stable Ugrids to Load to the SKSE plugins list, but no effect, I'm still CTDing randomly and getting infinite loads when loading new areas such as when discovering the name of a ruin.

I tried starting a new character and placing him in the area I was freezing in (Haafingar), then TCL and speedmult 300 and air-ran all over the area, no problem at all, so clearly it's my character/save not my mod list. I tried going back to a previous save, but something very weird happened when I loaded that save, Vampiric Thirst started giving me warning messages about blood draining, I went from 90 % to 60 % to 0 %, over and over despite having access to some Inconsequential NPCs to feed on and using the MCM menu's Update function, I kept going up and down, then when it appeared to be over I went out into the sun with Sunlight Immunity from 100 % blood pool, ran a short distance (Sarthaal to Winterhold) but midways the screen colored again from Vampiric Thirst and I died instantly. I have no idea what's going on now.

Interesting... I dout that's it, my computer was just in for maintanance and they installed an extra fan and stresstested the entire system for overheating, only thing that became too hot was the processor, so I had them install a water cooling on it. Everything else including my card (Asus 8 gig Nvidia GTX 580 with it's own fan) is well under temperature. I have problems with the computer crashing to a blue screen but when that happens the entire system freezes, not just a game, and I wouldn't be able to CTRL-ALT-DEL even. For now the random crashing seems to have stopped with the removal of SafetyLoad.dll from my plugin list (I'd forgotten to remove it when I isntalled Sheson's Memory Patch). However the game is unplayable due to the problem with randomly freezing up when loading in new world areas when traveling around, I see this instantly now when using the flight mod due to the speed whereas yesterday only I flew from Dayspring Canyon (outside Riften) to Deephollow Cave (outside Dawnstar) without a single freeze or issue, but I also see it when just running around on foot. I'm going to experiment with removing the mods I've installed since then (TK Combat, Bat Travel) and going back to a previous save.
-
Completely random, sometimes I can play for an hour, other times it happens every 10 minutes. I tried deleting SafetyLoad.dll and OneTweak.dll from SKSE Plugins right before making the first post, and that seems to have alleviated it some but it's still happening, and now I have the above freezing when loading areas. I'm trying now to put OneTweak.dll back into my plugins.

I have another issue as well that's come up now; very frequently when the game loads in a new area the game will freeze up, this is common normally of course but the freezing tends to stop and the game resume after 3-4 seconds at a most, now however the game is frozen permanently, and the only way to get away is CTRL-ALT-DEL and close it via file manager (Skyrim will read as non-responsive). Any way to fix that, or find out what's causing it?

I have a highly modded game but I'm using Mod Organizer, have cleaned all my mods, and followed every step in the various stability guides. The game is running very smoothly even at Ugrids 7 and HD textures galore (the entire Realvision ENB list, with Realivision B Full), to save space I'm keeping my mod directory/Mod Organizer on a HDD since I don't have the space to run a fully modded skyrim on my SSD, this leads to extra load times but I haven't noticed any other problems. My save games are slightly bloated at approximately 13 MB each, but that's pretty much to be expected from a heavy modded game. However I have a very strange issue with completely random CTDs, they can happen when talking to people, opening chests, getting a word off a wall, and so on, completely random times, not just for example when I access the menus, and then when I reload a save and do the exact thing over again it doesn't CTD. I have no idea how to solve this or how to find out what's causing it. I'm aware of how to turn on Papyrus logging but I don't know how to read a Papyrus log so that gets me nowhere, I can post it here if need be. Another issue I have is that sometimes it crashes when loading a save, usually a save after I've been killed, and when starting the game up again I'll CTD every time when loading saves off that character. The only way to resume that save/character then is to start a completely new game (Live Another Life, save in the prison cell) then loading the save of the character I want to play, then the saves can be loaded. Is there any way to avoid that happening, and what's the likely source? My load order is according to Mod Organizer the following; Bat Travel and Predator Vision are at the bottom because I haven't ordered it after reinstalling them (had to be reinstalled because they weren't working with Vampiric Thirst, they are now). SKSE plugin list is as follows; Fuz Roh Doh hdtphysicsextension MDX_nopoisondialogues MemoryBlocksLog SKSE_Enhancedchamera Everything is newly downloaded and latest versions, including SKSE, everything except the ENB at least since Realivision has not yet been updated to use the latest version.

I agree with OP, choosing your download mirror location was the main benefit of downloading manually when it didn't work with the manager, now it doesn't work with the manual download just as often. It keeps redirecting me to London (N6) which more often than not causes the page to timeout before it can respond, or it redirects me to Salt Lake City witth the same result. Before I chose for myself London 1-4 and got my file in 1/10 of the time it took the download manager. Frankly this site is becoming less user friendly rather than more.

No I don't have that problem, I'm using EWI's files and it skips the Bethesda logo, then it's usually ready to load my saves before the music begins even, way faster than say my Fallout New Vegas install gets to the main screen.
-
I've checked my save files and I have that file size three characters and one full install ago, so I don't think that's bloat-worthy. I don't see significant load times or anything but that huge delay on scripts firing.
-
I have a problem with my heavily modified game now, it seems that scripts are moving way too slowly, at first it was delayed by a few minutes, now if I say try to drink someone's blood with Vampiric Thirst, kill them, then harvest their bones with SkyRe, then use Bat Travel to travel to another place, none of these things happen, I save, I exit, I start over again, and then all four things happen at once. I wonder if there's any way to figure out what's delaying these scripts, and if there's any way to free it up? I'm not lagging terribly and my save files are about 25 megabytes so far, so it's not bloat yet.

Ouch... I didn't think of that. *Minor spoilers for main quest follows* I have no idea what I've removed unfortunatley, none whatsoever. The reason this didn't occur to me was that I was extremely careful about not removing anything at all, even if it was a problem, just for this reason, so in my 50 levels of play (a lot of it in Falskaar) I've removed maybe three mods that I can remember (complete crafting overhaul because it was doing the same thing as SkyRe, and SkyBirds and Birds of Skyrim because it was just too many extra NPCs in the cities). I tried reinstalling all mods that I have removed and I still get the error. And because I've been relying on autosaves and quicksaves almost entirely, the only save that works without crashing when I get there... is my level 2 save from Live another Life, where I haven't even been to Helgen yet. I got to the embassy with that, and just for fun decided to console unlock all the doors and what do you know, Diplomatic Immunity started when I was midways through slaugthering the Thalmor on godmode, I got the documents and coc riverwood (hadn't been there yet) and forcibly unlock the secret wardrobe and I'm on a Cornered Rat later... all the while Mirmulnir's flying around somewhere wondering what the heck's going on. Obviously this doesn't help me at all, so I've decided to in light of this just scrap the entire character and start over... Okay so that's one thing, hopefully this time it'll work or I'll at least rush the main quest for a change, but anyone got a clue what's going on when I go third person and the game (almost) crashes on a regular basis?

I have a bit of a game-breaking problem here that I don't know how to fix. It's mod related of course or I would be on the official site asking, but doing so with mods have not worked out well in the past. A specific area in my game contains a monster or effect of some sort that causes an instant CTD (Crash To Desktop) when I approach that area or load into it. The game-breaking part is that it's a huge area around the Thalmor Embassy, and I'm trying to do the party infiltration quest, as soon as I get on the carriage and load the Thalmor embassy, the game crashes. I have tried waiting several days, and going there at different times in the day with the same effect. Now what I'm wondering is if there's any way of narrowing down what it could be doing so, some sort of error logger or the like that told me 'crashed on attempting to load PinkHornySkeever" or the like, or if I have to disable mods one by one until I find the culprit. I'd rather not do that as I have an extremely modded game, with 250 ESP mods and a lot more texture mods or merged mods, so not only would that take ages, by the time I found the culprit the save game would be ruined. However that is the next step. I already tried disabling my reproccer and bashed patches and skyrim immersive creatures (that crashed it for me before), but I'm still crashing. I have no idea if it's a creature or bad texture, though it would be one hell of a big texture to cover an area from the Wolfskull cave to the Embassy and beyond, yet not touch any other area... and no it's not a sound effect as I tried uninstalling Audio Overhaul as well and no effect, and I don't have any other sounds... weather I doubt since it's Climates of Tamriel. So yeah, I'm looking for any clever suggestions on how to fix this or narrow the error down somewhat. Any help at all would be appreciated. Also, much less important, for some reason a lot of the time when my character comes into view for some reason (zooming out while crafing, performing a finishing move), the game freezes up, swaps back to windows for a bit (my screen reads the resolution as changing) then back into the game, though sometimes it just crashes it. It happens with any armor I'm wearing (including stuff that ten other NPCs on the screen can wear without it mattering), and I don't have a super high rexolution texture for my character or anything like that. THis happens more frequently in areas that I'm already lagging in.

Okay so I have a serious problem going on in my game that I don't know how to fix. It seems that if my torso gets injured I get a DR decrease that's not taken away when the torso is healed again. In my current save I have a -26 DR naked, on my more advanced save it's on -115, I had to dump that and redo all of getting to Galaxy News Radio, fixing the dish, getting back as well as rescuing the Rangers to to get it down to -26. I think it's caused by Fallout Wanderer's Editon's Morphine chemical (which if it wasn't added by that was added by Wanderer's Edition Combat Overhaul), which adds +15 DR and lets you ignore battlefield injuries, vital with FWE as you take a lot of them. Is there any way to narrow down which of my large mod list is causing this, is this a well-known problem (I did some searches but they came up empty), and is there any way like a console command that can fix this and set my naked DR back to 0 (well 6 as I have the Tough feat but I'd be happy with 0)? I'd appreciate any help you can offer, as this is verging on making my game unplayable. EDIT: Okay so I found player.setav damageresist, the problem is that it's max capped, so when I added a total of 121 damage resist to my advanced save to change it to 6, my new maximum is now 20 DR, adding a 35 DR armor ontop of this will just result in the DR getting capped at 20ish. Could this mean that it's just the display of the numbers that are broken? This applies to both the Pip-Boy's DR value on Items, as well as DarnUI's DR display which are both the same. EDIT2: Nope, my maxed out 20 DR just got torn to shreds by a Yao-Guai in three seconds on Easy difficulty, if that was a 95 % capped out damage reduction I doubt that would have happened. EDIT3: Okay, forget the Morphine entirely, it seems what happens is that when my torso is cripplied I get a DR penalty, but when I heal my torso again (Doctor or by myself) the DR penalty persists. I'm not sure but this could be the Triage system of FWE bugging out.

I've had this bug for a while and just figured out what caused it for me; it was the ENBseries upgrade, no ENB applied, just having the main ENBseries (wrapper) installed caused FPS to go haywire and Skyrim's physics engine to start protesting. I fixed it by installing ENBhelper from the site linked below and putting it in my enbseries folder, that gives the ENBseries plugin more data to work from from your system and prevents things like this. http://www.dev-c.com/skyrim/enbhelper/
