  1. Hi, Does anyone know: 1. What I need to set in CK to enable a custom hireling to have the steward dialogue when near or inside a HF home? 2. The console commands to enable the dialogue ingame? I used a guide to create my own custom hireling & all works fine except the hireling does not show the dialogue for offering to be a HF steward when near or inside a HF home. Marcurio can be a steward for HF so it must be possible somehow. I compared Marcurio to my own hireling within CK but cannot see where in CK to enable this. Any help will be appreciated. EDIT: I do not own Dragonborn. Only have DG & HF installed.
  2. Thank you for the explanation. I'm not too clued up on scripting but will give your methods a go. It will be a good learning experience for future scripts giving me similar warnings.
  3. Good day, I've recently started a new game after getting too many random CDT's where I could not pinpoint the cause, even after reading allot of forum threads on troubleshooting. My only conclusion was to start afresh & slowly introduce my most beloved mods & monitor papyrus for any clues as to potential issues as I play. I use Mod Organizer & my understanding is that a fresh Skyrim install would not be necessary because of the way MO interfaces with Skyrim. I have also TES5EDIT cleaned Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, HearthFires.esm I only have the following installed sofar (used BOSS for load order): Skyrim.esm Update.esm Dawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm HighResTexturePack01.esp HighResTexturePack02.esp HighResTexturePack03.esp Brawl Bugs CE.esp Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp SkyUI.esp Just finished the Helgen intro & saved after leaving the cave. No CDT but when I looked at my papyrus logs I noticed very familiar warnings & errors from my previously corrupt game. Papyrus log: From this there seems to be issues with 4 scripts: 1. QF_TG05_00021551 (warning) 2. tg06questscript (warning) 3. defaultsetStageTrigSCRIPT (Error) 4. defaultPlayerEnableDisableLinkedRef (Error) I cannot find any threads dealing with these specific scripts so I hope someone can just give me some info as to the cause of these warnings & errors, & if there is something I can do to fix these?
  4. Hi, I hope someone here know how to do this easily & can assist publishing an add-on/compatibility mod of sorts (for us non-programmer/modders). I currently use these mods: 1. Sabre Gear Backpack (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13687) 2. Belt-Fastened Quivers (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35717) 3. Dual Sheath Redux (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34155) 4. Custom Skeleton Pack 67 from Custom Skeleton Replacers (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16712) My problem: When bow or shield is stored on the back they clip terribly with the backpack. The ideal solution: A mod (if it already exists then please point me to it as I've searched with no luck) to just move the placement of the bow & shield further away from the body when the backpack is equipped as to give the impressions it's attached to the back of the backpack. I understand that I could use nifscope to achieve this, but what I do not know how to do is to add some logic to determine if the backpack is equipped or not & then adjust the placements accordingly. I’ve seen similar concept implemented with cloaks & backpacks where the backpack placement is adjusted further from the body to incorporate the cloak, so it must be possible somehow. The logic must be something like: 1. Is backpack equipped? 2. If “no” then use bow/shield default placement. 3. If “yes” then adjust bow/shield placement to “XYZ value”. Also, I suppose the “XYZ value” that it moves away from the body must not be a fixed position as to prevent the addition of a “cloak mod” to re-introduce clipping. No changes to the placements of quivers, staves or 2H weapons are required. Only bow & shield placements must be enhanced. Thank you for your time reading this & also a special thank you to the authors of the above mentioned mods for increasing the enjoyment of this great game.
