  1. I have this weird issue where npcs greet normally and speak their hellos normally in dialogue, and the topics are there, but when exiting they remain silent: no exit dialogue like "good day" etc.
  2. I'm currently making a follower mod and I think I made this mistake: now Mara crashes on activation. Could you be more specific of "general" dialogue, please? I have a lot of lines with the sneaking variable set on zero (and some with 1). Would it be and Idle or Hello? Or is it a is Sneaking without my npc as the condition? Any help would be appreciated!

  4. @anjenthedog Thank you for your reply. I have gone back a bit and so far it seems to work (knock on wood). I suspect it has something to do with my horse, as the camera always focuses on that npc rather than mine. I think saving while on horseback and moving may have caused some issues.
  5. After a certain point in my game, when I begin the assault on Windhelm with the CW questline, all saves afterwards have game breaking glitches. When loading a save after that point, the game either A.) Focuses the camera on my horse; the horse takes the place of the camera focus where it should be on me (on one occasion I could see my character and move her around, but the camera follows the horse) or B.) The cell completely fails to load and all I see is the cell's sky and the compass hud. I am not sure if entering Windhelm "corrupts" the save, or if it may be some sort of bloat issue. If anyone has experienced this and may know what this means, please let me know. I would like to continue my playthrough to help determine the LO for my next playthrough and while waiting for my favorite mods' updates. Thank you for reading.
  6. Is there a way to force the quest giver to start the Purity quest? I don't think the quests are random unfortunately.
  7. I've completed the totems of hircine, yet the Purity quest simply will not start. Farkas and Vilkas have given me Dragon Seeker quests nonstop whenever the prompt "is there any work to be done?" comes up. I have no idea how this broke. I do have all heads in my inventory. I also have USSEP and LOD in my load order.

  9. Dang! I was hoping to make it a replacer, not a new actor. :( The textures aren't as ugly as they were on the lake dragon, but I'm a little too obsessive! But thank you for all of your help, and have a good weekend, too!
  10. Forgive me, but I'm not sure I've heard of those before. Would you please briefly explain? And is there anything I can do to fix that with what I have available to me?
  11. I got the Ice Lake dragon to work, but the blood dragon still has the polygons. Any suggestions? Thank you for the help, btw!
  12. That's odd. The Alpha 1 Channel is there for my lake and blood dragons.
  13. Do I create the Alpha Channel in the NVIDIA pop up menu? Or is it something I need to do in Photoshop?
  14. I apologize if I can't get a bigger image. But the one I edited in CK has a "filled out" polygon effect, while the one from google images show the fins having a more dynamic shape. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong when I am compressing the dds file.

  17. Hello! I've been working on dragon textures and so far its going well. However, the icelakedragon and the blood dragon are proving difficult: their fins have an ugly polygon look that I can't seem to get rid of. Here is an example attached. I use Photoshop CC for my texture edits. Can anyone help? Thank you!
  18. I am having trouble getting my new Shadowmere eyes to work in game. In this picture, the eyes are rendered in Creation Kit, as well as a new regular horse eye. However, upon loading the game the new eyes do not render, it looks like the vanilla eye. Any help will be much appreciated!

  20. I am trying to create a white horse skin, based off the dds file from the Wild Horses CC. I can load it on Photoshop, edit the colors, save it as another dds and upload it to Creation kit. However, I noticed that I am doing something wrong as the fine hairs that fade underneath the horse's belly, neck, and cheeks are filled out with the color overlay I made. It has a polygon look poking out of the model, where the fine hairs should be. Am I missing a step when I export the photoshop file? (there is a modification menu that mentions maps). I would assume the issue would be the same for any other texture that involves fine, fading hairs.
  21. I uninstalled the Sheogorath and Love your Horse mods and now its saving normally again! Incredible how one thing can cause so many issues. Thank you for your assistance!
  22. I have also used Message Logger to find a possible issue: the "missing idles" seem to come from the Knights DLC.
  23. Hello. I've returned to Oblivion on PC and I am using Wyre Bash for modding. I am however still getting CTDs on saving, and I am only at 5.5-6 hours in game. However, I have noticed that the corrupted file in Wyre Bash (the point where it crashed) is 256 KB in size compared to the previous file 1.6 MB. Does this provide a clue to what the issue could be?
