To me it seems like a script issue, I had the same problem once, It did fix for a brief time after uninstalling Mrissi, but after a few hours the problem came back... So it has something to do with scripts (I think)... To be honest I couldn´t fix it so I went and started a new game...

Hello, here´s my problem, recently I was running my game with a lot of mods, no problems or anything but I had to uninstall some mods I didn't need, like some menu replacers, a couple animations, and a quest mod The Noble Chaurus (because it was causing some frezes and crashes for some reason) after uninstalling it everything started failing, and well I tried to start a new character, however everytime I try to start my game I get a ctd after I hit the new game button. Script cleaner deletes Scripts that are left in your save from older mods, also data that no longer is needed.

I do it every week or so, idk if thats recomended, but I have no problems so far, and I'm ashamed too, my modding addiction has gotten me in a position where I already reached the limit of mods I can put in my game and Im starting to merge plugins U_U

Yeah the changes you notice the most after using those tools are the loading times (shorter) and hopefuly no CTD's play for a bit and check around the same areas you were crashing before.

Do you use any textures overhaul, city mods that affect the city of Markarth or something like that? I was having the same problem, Idon´t know it going back to boss instead of Loot or uninstalling a texture pack was the solution (sorry, I´m lazy to try it again). Also for the quest, It happened to me that I was on a rush because I was being burned (vampire char...) by the sun, so I enter Markarth and run straight to the Inn, so the assassination of Margaret trigered but I didn't stay in the scene, when I went outside at night no quest started message on screen, no guy with note and even the body of Margaret and the guy who kills her wasn´t there... I panicked a bit, and didn´t give it a lot of importance, but then I was cheking my inventory and the note was there... So check that.

If you just use SGSC and/or SSC, then the answer its no, they just going to clean your savegame, anyway, you should do a backup of your save, so you don´t have any problem

Actually it looks like URWL (I was using it some time ago, and had the same blueish nights, but I changed to RCRN recently... Edit: You can also try to use imaginator and try some presets.

Ummm, yeah I totally forgot about that... In my save... Well I use Sexy Move too, and I don't think I ever had a problem with that tool and Sexy Move... Oh and just looking trough the comments I found why did I forgot that: The problem was an update for Sexy moves, a while ago, so no problem at all... :D

Maybe is some script heavy mod you are using or some ophan scripts, I recomend that you make a save somewhere indoors and take a look at this tool: Save Game Script Cleaner also, after using that tool, loading and saving again try this one too: SKYRIM Save Cleaner Edit: Btw, the ones I know (data intensive) are the Windhelm Docks, the Outside of Riften, and I think (maybe?) Solitude... Yeah I keep my distance from HD textures all the time, and use Ordenador, texture optimizer to compress the ones that are too big, but I can play fine, a bit of lag here and there sometimes (specially near riften or Windhelm).

Well I think here´s mora a "Morality" discussion of what is "correct" or "wrong" to do, but in a lot of countries as of today that is how things work, that is how things worked in the past and the only things you couln't take were the ones owned from the rich, the governants and priests... (just because that's how morality rolls in the world).

I currently have close to 250 mods in my game, and my computer has lower specs than CraftyPork's, actually is an Hp laptop (you know just from that, that it sucks XD) I barely have 3gb of ram and a radeon hd4200 and the only mod I had that was causing me problems was Monster Mod, but from his list I don't see anything suspicious. :/ But here´s a thing, recently I reinstalled Skyrim completely, the load order was changing itself and was getting some random crashes, what i did was to backup my skirim.ini. skyrimprefs.ini in my documents and deleted the DLCList.txt, loadorder.txt, plugins.txt and SteamModList.txt from: "C:\Users\"user"\AppData\Local\Skyrim". It gets a bit complicated from here, because NMM wasn´t showing the plugins, so I ran the check option in steam, restarted my laptop and after that one more check in steam, run the original launcher, the NMM again and all my plugins were there again, after that i have not had any problems (scept for a texture thing with the Markarth banners) Idk if my experience is usefull, maybe you could try that and see if it helps you. Edit: I still get crashes every now and then, usually after 3 or 4 hours of gameplay, but I know that is because I run out of memory... As I said my laptop is not very good. If I´m not wrong in that post he says he uninstalled SkyRe, Sorry I can´t help you, I use SkyRe too, but I haven´t notice any issue with spells, Ofc I don't use heal spells because I play a vmapire, but in the other schools I have no problems.

Hello, I think I searched the nexus looking for a dawnbreaker mod for vampires, I didn't see one. Of course the dawnbreaker is a weapon a vampire can't use, because when fighting other undead you always end hurting yoursel, so I was wondering why no one has made a mod that kind of modifies the properties of the dawnbreaker, something like a corrupt version. If anyone out there know of such a mod, I'd love to know where to get it, if anyone want to make that kind of mod, I'd love to try it, because is the weapon I want to use put one or two times it has ended my life (mi character's life I mean).

Yeah I was just reading that in some reddit topic, I´ll check, but it is strange because I have quite a lot of time playing and going back and forth in all of markarth, and just noticed that problem last night. Anyway, I found some fancy banner replacers I would like to install. Thank you very much for the replies :D

Yeah, Kids this days only use stencils, they don't know how to writte something XD, I think I will be trowing some banners replacers and see if that fixes my banner problem. Btw, thanks about the hair, is in SG Hairpack, I think, and well, my game doesn´t look that ugly, but apparently steam took my screenshot in jpg, will be changing that later too.

So, tonight I got home from work and started playing skyrim. I went to mine some gold and then went back to Markarth to craft some jewelry to make some honest septims, after making some I went to the understone keep to enchant some of those jewels just to get some more septims for them, thats when I noticed something... In the flags at the entrance of the Keep some punk kid with green paint just wrote Markarth in the flags... No, seriously, I think I may have some problem with my load order, I've been using Loot to sort my Load Order, maybe that is the problem, I like Loot a lot because it improved my game stability (some bugs tho, but no CTD's constantly). So, anyone willing to help me improve my LO with Loot, and to identify this texture problem, to You, I will thank you... A lot. Here's my Load Order as provided by wrye bash:
