  1. Im having the same problem. Did anyone get a solution. Faithful poster.,... what is the point of your post please? I didnt find any benefit. Thanks.
  2. I suspect someone will tell me what I've stupidly done wrong but.... After adding mods, simple mods, skin, armour etc, nothing is changing the characters. They still look as ugly as pug and the armours, clothing, skins, faces, walk styles....... nothing is registering. I've done a search to see if Skyrim Special Edition has installed somewhere else via Steam but I'm using NEXUS to fire it up just like Skyrim ordinaire but the Mods for some inane reason just wont show up; show in-game. Everything in Nexus comes across as if its all working great. No errors, nothing outdated etc etc. So I'm a bit foxed on this one. Many thanks for reading.
  3. Well, after many hours of struggle.... it turns out SOLITUDE REBORN BASIC doesnt like to run with THE GREAT CITY OF SOLITUDE. I try one. Its OK. I can see the Hall of the Dead. I try the other, its OK. I can see the Hall of the Dead. Run together..... accidentally I add..... and I CANT see the Hall of the Dead!!! Just a kind of mirror lake thing with its Doorway and some barrels that are inside its transparent walls. I dont know. Digital mayhem stuff. If anyone else has this issue here's your solution.
  4. Hi Falro..... Isn't there supposed to be some kind of "Picture Taken" message just to let you know SOMETHING happened. :geek:
  5. Well, just so's you know youre not alone....... I have three market stalls in Solitude that are "stall-less" with fish and meats hovering in the air with no table and the stall holders just standing there like, "Well, whats wrong with that?" and amidst them is a flying cow that refuses to stand anywhere but six feet off the ground hovering. But I guess if nobody ever told him he couldnt hover he wouldnt know that he cant. :P Another irritating issue I have is a ghostly layer of clouds, ivy and rocks randomly appearing 80% transparent everywhere. Gotta love Skyrim. :-)
  6. I just wondered if you used the Steam method of installing mods or ran the game from the actual mod manager itself after using the mod manager to install mods. Its not as complicated as you imagine to do so.
  7. Hi Gorsky.... I have loaded currently 84 plugins and 112 mods all running together and all I did was alphabetically select them from their folder and let NEXUS MOD MANAGER install them all. It runs. Now initially it didnt as I did it bit by bit and worked on load-order and etc and studied conflicting mod v conflicting mod and on and on and on and on and ..............AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!! I rechose most mods alternately.... banged them in and it all runs. Ive been down the balancing, editing, load ordering path and as endless as that can be sometimes what works for Suzy doesnt have a hells chance with Tom. For you I would say... purely from my own experience.... Install Nexus Mod manager which I found more stable and more controlling than the mod manager you're currently using. SSEMO. It didnt work well for me. Nexus always has. SKYLAND and anything with PARRALAX in the title I have never ever been able to get on with. Could be because I use a high spec animation rendering device or just because of the way my Nanobots work in Memory. Who knows. I have run stable SKyrim games for years and then suddenly. WALLOP. It all dies and WHO knows why..... so..... dont despair. One tactic I used three times was, after battling with "WHY DONT THEY ALL RUN TOGETHER" re: my mods selections and "AAAARGH!! WHY HAVE THEY ALL STOPPED WORKING JUST BECAUSE I ADDED xxxxxxx MOD?" I rechose, thats RESELECTED, alternate mods and literally chose SIMILAR mods to what was because I just got so brain deadened trying to make them run together. This works sometimes. Most times. Someonme may come along with the perfect digital solution for you or load order..... You'll run it singing HOORAH and then go into whiterun and everything crashes and the game wont get past the start menu any longer. ALSO...... restarting the computer and running the game from scratch after going into TASK MANAGER and deleting all the crap from printer ink web background programs and SKYPE (Which I have NEVER instaled but it sits in the backgorund snooping anyway) and printer help applications...... RID RAM of this uneccessary s**t and you'll find that sometimes the unstable game starts quickly and runs thereafter perfectly. It happens like that here. Badly written memory modules dont help anyone. Sorry if this doesnt come across as if from a professor of technoloigy but Ive just spent the last six days rebuilding my Skyrim from three "from scratch" reloads only to do the above and now it runs fine. 'cept for a missing hall of the dead in Solitude. But I can live with that for now. You mention distance dying... LOD issues...... have you tried uninstalling everything and just installing mods that affect landscape, trees, rocks, mountains, rivers, water, waterfalls, clouds, and see at which point stage by stage yoiur LOD or distance dies? Sometimes one single file has a crunching effect on quality. Do you run Two monitors as I do here. One for the game / work output and one has memory management on it and shows me what CPU tax is taking place v. memory suck-up. Do you run HDD's or SSD's? What RAM do you have and how much Graphics ram?
  8. Does anyone know how to re-enable F12 as the screen grab button. I dont have one at all and I dont know why F12 should suddenly die!!!!!!
  9. The Hall of the dead is missing in Solitude!!!!!!!!! All that is there is a kind of what looks like a lake but in fact is only a hole in the ground showing other buildings and the harbour / ocean way down the cliff faces. When I stand near it everything around me glitches in and out of vision like some kind of demented mirroring effect. But everything else I can find is all OK! Any ideas on solving this is welcome.
  10. But I dont use this mod. So, for me, with identical problems to yours, but mine are Solitude with massive holes in the floor and textureless appalling looking buildings and missing doors etc.... WHAT do I do? I have done the usual rebuilds but nothing seems to remove it. I have a clean game.... still there. ??????? Huh?
  11. This has foxed me. I go through Summerset Isle..... I'm not happy. I do a few quests and then decide that, having been given the ability to teleport to Skyrim again.... I go there. Only to find all my staffs are powerless. What the hell would do that? I've tried many inane things but I cant rectify it. Any equally inane solutions are welcome.
  12. In response to post #74798943. Me also. Pay to play? Like, what? Im pissed off because I finacially paid them monies for development. Now I see its a continual money reaper. Get people into the game then then back them into a corner to pay and play. Nah... Too much like a seaside arcade environment. Very disappointing.
  13. Firstly, this being my first post, good evening all... Very nice forum and nicely concise and informative. I run eleven PHPBB's of my own in Animation Engineering mainly so I know how difficult they are to maintain and keep clean. So....... I know this'll be a dull one but.... After installing and de-installing and re-installing everything I could find to fix the eye glitch nothing works. After "invisiblizing" and re-appearing every avatar has squinched up screwy eyes. (Sniffle!) So, this is my way of thinking unless someone knows better. I want to dig out all the potential files that make this happen MANUALLY; manually delete them - and THEN manually install ones that fix the scrimpled up eye issue. I'm exhausted of this as we always are. Why the f does this happen? Its the wierdest wonky thing Ive seen in any software game. I have many mods and etc installed as we all do. Im using the Skyrim Legendary Edition. I use windows. Just in case thats a relevancy. Thankyou in advance. Neil.
