  1. Hey guys, I've looked everywhere and you're my only hope. My old build of Fallout had an ENB preset on it that had Subsurface Scattering on it and it was really good. I've since had to re-install windows and wasn't able to do a backup, so I've lost it. I've looked at so many ENB presets and haven't been able to find it, or one with SSS. I've looked through my download history on the Nexus, and there's nothing there for it, even googled my life away for a few hours and couldn't find anything. I've attached a screenshot here of one of the only comparisons I made that I could find. Does anyone know of a preset that implements this?
  2. So I know that TK dodge is a thing, but I find the double tap style to be too slow to do reflexively within this game. Perhaps a dodge that works in the way that, when the player is moving sideways or backwards, player jump height is reduced (to 50 perhaps) and when the player presses jump, for 0.5 of a second, the player speed mult is increased x3, allowing a sort of side step or backward recoil, similar to how dodge is done in dying light. Ideally this would use a chunk of stamina too. What do you think? Possible?
  3. Would it be possible to make a "gun", a re-modelled 10mm that's basically a handle with a scope rail, that cannot shoot, doesn't weigh a lot and can be modified to have different range recon-scopes and/or weigh even less? Basically just a monocular that you can use to tag enemies and scout, that's separate from an actual gun.
  4. Boombro, totally defeats the purpose of limitations. That's like saying "If I want 30 arrows, drop any others you find", but lets be honest, if you were to find a quiver with 35 arrows in it, you're not going to go into your inventory to drop 5 arrows, because they're useful and it's a waste of time opening the inventory to drop them when realistically they're a positive resource to have in the long run, and actively inconveniencing yourself at regular intervals by purposely getting rid of a positive resource is ridiculous. However, if I was forced to only have 30 max by a system in place, I would have to ration them and be a lot more resourceful in my play style. Lofgren, I actually do that too, start with about 100 carry weight, but the reason I find that not particularly great is because certain items weigh a disproportionately large amount compared to similar items, which seriously skews the system, and the idea of slots instead of weight just appeals to my style of play a lot more. If I was limited by those, then I would actually use chests. But what Inkbat is saying is make it so that people in general are limited by those slots, so that if you want to keep something you actually have to utilize the legitimate storage in your home and not keep 400 tonnes of equipment on your followers.
  5. I second the inventory part -- I wouldn't mind it more elaborate though. -One set of armour at a time (One helmet, cuirass, pair of boots and pair of Gauntlets, Shield) -Two one handed weapons (Or two staves, mix and match) -One two-handed weapon OR a bow/crossbow (not both, that would be insanely cumbersome) -50 Arrows -20 Lockpicks -10 potions -5 poisons -10 scrolls I really like the concept, because you would have to really plan your journeys and make sure you left as prepared as you could. And then mods that allow alchemy and crafting on the fly (arrows and such) would be incredibly useful.
  6. Actually GrimyBunyip has come back and is supporting Skytweak again. He's updated it entirely, and it now runs with FISS allowing you to save settings as an external file.
  7. Would someone be able to make a mod to increase the swim speed by double, and triple the duration of boosters?
  8. So, I'm working on a mod that makes all items weigh 1, and ingredients/misc things weigh 0, the player has 10 carry weight, and can buy items to permanently increase that. Just need to know, how many things am I going to break by doing this? I'm assuming the armour perks that make armour weigh nothing when worn, anything else I will need to know about?
  9. Hey all, Just wondering if anyone knows of a mod that makes you slide down or off slopes that are too steep to walk up?
  10. I'd say number one, it'd make it feel like "Skyrim isn't the only place where things are happening"
  11. So, I was planning on making a bunch of huge, platforming, puzzle based dungeons (Puzzles being scavenger hunt style or detective-ish, whichever you want to call it) Would there be much interest in these? I mean I'm likely to do it anyway, just curious to know whether anyone is game for that sort of thing.
  12. Yeah this being back up would be great, I've been checking like once a week
