  1. Also I would like to have specified closets for each member of the house wife/carl/bard etc. that I can put clothing into and they will pick from it to wear for various occasions inside/outside, outside would be armor/weapon inside would be cloths. So when I click on the dresser/chest/closet I would get an option to tell it what occasion this item is for. I would also like an option for "lets go swimming" dialog, since pools or ponds are being introduced via mods. So they would go and change for the occasion. I would like to be able to take my son/daughter hunting/fishing and train them. When they go hunting fishing on their own (I mean with guards of course) they can bring back their loot and add it to the house. I would guess a logbook would work where I can say keep X amount of each item, sell the rest (wife would do this via market). The kids would get paid based on their contribution. This is not a cheat since I would have to take the time to "train" them and I would have to put a limit on what they can hunt... wouldn't want little Billy getting killed because he was hunting Mammoths, more like rabbits, fox, wolves, crabs any small game. Milking the cow, making butter, collecting the eggs, tending the garden, chop wood, clean stables, go study, learn an instrument. The logbook would keep track off their contribution and pay them. The money would be added to their chest, that way I can sneak in while they are sleeping and steal it to go to the tavern.
  2. Looking for a mod that knows where I stored all my stuff in the house and takes what I need when I craft. I have Lakeview manor and I put different items in different storage area's. Instead off having to go collect all the mats for cooking, cook and put the remainder back or because some of the cooking items are alchemy items also. All I want to do is walk up to my table/work bench/oven/forge and know what I can create NOT with what I have on me but what I have handy (in the house). If I move to another house I can use a horse and cart (I've seen a mod for one) I hit a "pack up to move" button and all my items are stored in various containers then moved to the cart. I would guess it would be easier if each house had a unique storage unit for each type of items. Armor to be sold/upgraded/collected, weapons to be sold/upgraded/collected, uncooked food/cook food, restoration/defensive/offensive/modifying potions, ore storage, ingot storage, jewelry storage etc. when I walk into my house I click a button and everything goes where it show... Lucia stop asking me for money and put this stuff away  I don't want to call all my stuff to me through some mystical "cloud" to store my booty.
  3. Is there a mod that lets you hire people for specific roles like: A teacher for your kids, a caretaker for your kids, a whipping boy for your kids lol jk, a cook for the house, grounds keeper, a page for errands, farmers, guards, an accountant/clerk that keeps track of your living supplies.. we're running low on salt.. take founds out of household expense and send errand boy. If I own a ranch or farm... I need X supplies. A broker... I've found a good deal on the purchase of some new cow/horses/chicken etc. should I buy them? Guard captain - I want to equip all the guards with X armor and x weapons. Blacksmith - I want new equipment for my guards, how much and what supplies you need? A mistress  scratch that why pay when you get one for free :P Well you get where this is heading
  4. Been looking and search hasn't found it. I CTD when I try and save? I can load from any of my files, I can play np, but when I try and save bodda boom. Please help!
  5. I used to think this. I even wrote thesis in college on how DRM damages consumer trust in the developers, how it doesn't actually prevent piracy, and how some forms of DRM were so aggressive they actually damaged the end-users machines. I don't believe that the Steam DRM on Skyrim does any of these things, well, except for actually preventing people from trying to pirate the game. Which comes up when they try to then modify their game, since generally they can't. My response for that? "Go buy the game, and support the makers of it." I was annoyed at first when the DRM required that my husband and I both own a copy of the game, as many single player games we will just share between us. In the end though, we still bought a second copy of the game, and quite happily play concurrently. Before we did that, we just took turns as to who would play. The Steam DRM isn't a model for DRM boycotting, it will not damage your computer by it being there, and a lot of users will already use Steam to download games. This primarily ensures that we get the updates right away, how is that a bad thing? Yes it does. Steam is a marketing tool nothing more. They are one step away from putting popups inside the game just like TV commercials. I am far from being a pirate or hacker, I have a receipt for every game I own, which are in the hundreds. Steam is not printed on the game I bought from Gamestop, I thought I was buying a self contained game disc. I did not KNOW I had to install Steam and DOWNLOAD Skyrim. I hate Steam with ever hair on my body. Also if you do not think these tactics take their toll on legitimate consumers you are mistaken, take Metalica as an example. Their sales crashed after they went on their crusade against pirates... where are they now?
  6. Ask for help choosing mods that work together so I don't slide across the floor like a mannequin on a ship? I've been loading and unloading mods for a week, also I've been scanning the forum till my eyes bloodied. I know that most won't want to say "don't use so and so's mod" because.... and I truly hate taking up valuable modding time from you guys, you are putting out some good chit. I've played Skyrim + all dlc on PS3 (almost platinumed, lvl 60). I bought Skyrim and all the dlc for my pc, I paid for a premium account here all just so I could play using you guys Kick Ass mods. So any suggestions would be appreciated.
  7. You have a mod conflict, you have to uninstall them one at a time OR "read" the requirements, some need other mods. Often if you have 2 or more mods that do the same they will clash NOT ALWAYS but its something to look for.
