How true :(

I know that things like texture mods and Flora mods drop performance (That's why I don't have any not even the high res texture pack) I'm wondering which of my currently activated mods are known to cause stability and performance issues

So I have started playing Skyrim recently and after many hours (the 96 hours on my Steam account were mainly used up by testing mods) I managed to get Skyrim to a state where I don't CTD 99% of the time (I know that it will crash every so often because of the amount of mods in my load order). Anyway now the only issue I have to iron out is the fact that my performance has died and I get 15fps in my game also I get crashes fairly often (My PC specs aren't that great). So what I'd like to know is what mods in my load order are the biggest performance hitters so that I can play Skyrim without freezes that often, without CTDs that often and at a framerate of at least 25. My Load Order Mods are cleaned with Tes5EditI have ENBoost (Using the "Graphical Enhancment disabled" presetIf anyone needs my PC specs I'd be more than happy to share them

I agree with artificalsloth you need to pare down to about half of what you have listed and start a new game. Can you tell me the overall "safe" amount of mods it's possible to run without random crashes? I have narrowed it down to 166 plugins and I'm still getting crashes. (on a new save New Load Order

I recently purchased Skyrim on Steam and I want to start my first PC playthrough. I start the game and I play and at random points the game crashes. First time it crashed was when I was walking down the hill with Hadvar (As soon as you finish unbound), then when I killed a thief with Hadvar and tried to loot him on the way to Riverwood. These crashes happen constantly and I'd just like to know what is going on and what mod is causing this (Can't really start uninstalling one by one and checking because it happens randomly). Also when I uninstall a mod (Any mod) it stops for a little while and then it starts again. My load order: (Copied directly from NMM) All files are cleaned with TES5EDIT (At least the ones BOSS told me to clean) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I started a topic earlier this evening about random CTDs anyway I managed to narrow it down to skyBirds as after reading the papyrus log file it turned out that: Was the last thing recorded before the CTD and it said that in every log so now my question is: Why does skyBirds attempt to load Dragonborn factions result in an instant CTD? (And I don't even get "Skyrim has stopped working") I'd really appreciate if any of you experienced modders could help me with this as I think skyBirds is an excellent mods that really helps with immersion (even on my less than average machine) Here is my full load order (When the CTDs where still occuring since then I've added footprints back as I thought that that was the cause of the CTDs also I'd assume that one of my many Dragonborn mods would be the fault)

I am currently in the beginning of my first playthrough on PC and after installing several mods I am getting CTDs very often and It's not related to being in a certain area or anything it's just random. I may be standing around in a tavern or killing some bandits in Bleak Falls barrow... and it will always crash at some point without fail.
