  1. What are some good mods to make the environment, items, equipment, and weapons higher resolution? Are there any mods (or combination of mods) that work for everything in the game and its DLC?
  2. Are mods reversible once installed, in terms of being able to uninstall them without breaking things?
  3. I'm thinking of making a mod to change some spawns (listed below) and I'm wondering if anyone can give some pointers on how to do it. I've never made a mod before and I don't want to break anything. Here's what I want to do: 1. Make it so that pipe weapons stop spawning on raiders, settlers, and other characters after a certain level, or at least don't spawn as frequently as they do. Pipe weapons aren't very potent and they really accumulate. 2. Make it so that pipe weapons never spawn in pre-War safes, boxes, and other locations. It makes no sense for them to be there. 3. Make it so that the Commonwealth merchants have some weapons and ammo from the DLC available for trade. Not enough to accumulate an arsenal, but enough that there isn't the strangeness of the weapons and their ammunition only existing in isolated locations. 4. Make it so that people, robots, etc. carry more ammunition for their weapons. It would be even better if the amount was related to how much their primary weapon can carry. Everyone should have enough ammunition to reload their weapons a few times. 5. Make it so that people carry more caps. Higher level characters should carry more. 6. Make it so that caps never spawn in pre-War safes, boxes, and other locations. It makes no sense for them to be there. Pre-War cash should spawn there instead. 7. Make it so that pre-War cash is generally more widespread. There was significant inflation pre-War, but there doesn't seem to be much cash laying around to reflect it.
  4. I couldn't find a thread for this mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10459/?) and I was wondering if anyone could describe how it works. Also, while searching I found some references to glitches with a similar sounding mod for earlier Fallout games that made it impossible to reload. Does anyone know if this mod works in a similar way?
  5. That's good. I know that some older games weren't as user friendly when it came to no-win situations and would let you keep going for hours until you realized what happened.
  6. I've done modding years ago, including the ones from back in the days of manually installing and splicing together every file, but I've only done total conversions or minor utility clients that did one thing at a time like modify map overlays or collect data. I've never installed multiple mods that change multiple things at the same time before. I'm considering modding all of those games because they all have different things I liked about them.
  7. I bought Morrowind on sale a while ago but never got around to playing it because I’ve heard it lacks some of the user friendly features found on more recent games such as fast travel, critical characters that cannot be killed, etc. Are there any mods that update the game to have some of the user friendly features found on more recent games?
  8. I played this game when it first came out and loved it, but I never played it with any mods. Are there any must have mods for Oblivion?
  9. I’m wondering if there are any must have mods for the game, especially ones that build upon the house system introduced in Hearthstone or expand combat and crafting. I’m also interested in mods for graphics and sound suitable for higher end computers. Also, I’ve only used total conversion mods before with. Can anyone give me some advice for how to mod the game to prevent conflicts and avoid bugs and other issues? Are there any issues with using current mods with the new Special Edition version of the game?
  10. I played this game when it first came out and loved it, but I never played it with any mods. Are there any must have mods for Fallout 3?
  11. I played this game when it first came out and loved it, but I never played it with any mods. Are there any must have mods for New Vegas?
  12. I’m wondering if there are any must have mods for the game, especially ones that build upon the fairly limited settlement system in game or expand combat and crafting. I’m also interested in mods for graphics and sound suitable for higher end computers. Also, I’ve only used total conversion mods before with. Can anyone give me some advice for how to mod the game to prevent conflicts and avoid bugs and other issues?
  13. Has anyone tried this mod? Is it any good?
  14. I have done several playthroughs of Skyrim and am looking to get some mods for the game. I know that there are several mods that add equipment to the game, but are there any that change gameplay, the way the characters look, etc.? Also, are there any house and other mods that people can recommend? I have all the official DLC except Dragonborn, although I can purchase that if it is needed for a mod.
