So, on a whim, I re-downloaded the game, without any of the DLC and it still decided to crash :sad: Then i re-downloaded all of the DLC, restarted my pc. Uninstalled all of visual C++ from 2010 to 2015 and restarted. Reinstalled all of visual C++ from 2010 to 2015 and restarted. The issue still persists, but now every few launches (mainly if i launch JUST after it CTDs) it will give me a MSVCR120.dll is missing, but the game will still run if i hit ok? and crash at the usual spot its been crashing at

Yes windows is 64 bit, and yes my video driver is 64 bit

Could you clarify that a bit more? I only have 1 graphics processor which is my 1060.

Well i had this issue with my 950 2gb as well before i installed my 1060, and seeing as both of our video cards are above the recommended (and my 950 was within the recommended vram) I have high doubts that VRam is the problem.

So, i have re-checked the load order, its in the correct configuration. Once again i have removed everything that was not part of the game itself (NMM+FO4SE+Unofficial Patch). That didnt work. Deleted all of my saves next (after backing them up elsewhere), that also didnt end up working. Re-downloaded the game as a whole. Still crashes after clicking anything when it asks you to. The ram and video card are fairly new (video card about a month ago, and RAM last year) but i did check to make sure that the ram wasnt having any problems and it wasnt. As for overheating, my video card doesnt go over 60C playing ARK on high settings, and i cant get into FO4 long enough to even get the graphics card to warm up, so i dont see that being an issue. As for pirating, No. This isnt a pirated copy, as it was a gift from a friend. Edit: So in another attempt i tried changing it to windowed/borderless and changed the size to 720, and it loaded just fine..? i could even get in game. but as soon as i threw it back to fullscreen/windowed 1080, it seems to CTD

So i have had this issue since ive installed all the DLC. After a fresh install (removing everything related to fallout4, even the saves) of the game, i can play it. After about 4 days of playing (ive reinstalled twice now to make sure) it will CTD upon "press any key to start" if i press any key on my keyboard/mouse. Specs: W7 SP1 (updated this week) i7 4930k 3.4Ghz 16Gb Ram EVGA 1060 6GB | Driver version 378.78 Papyrus log with nothing but the base game installed: Papyrus log with the unofficial patch + FO4SE installed: I have tried everything from ENBoost, to changing the load order of the DLC, to using the unofficial patch. Nothing seems to be helping. I have also noticed that Skyrim Special Edition doesnt work for me either (downloaded it recently) and that doesn't even play. it just throws up a black screen for a second and CTDs

I'm currently trying to make a closed mod for a friend who streams (dont plan on uploading it) and it deals with using actual gems as the heads of arrows with some color glow to them. Now i haven't made any mods for skyrim, but i can find my way around the ck fairly easily (npcs, placements, etc). My main problem is that I absolutely suck with Meshes/textures... Would there be any way i could get some assistance ?

I havent had mods installed since the fresh install, When i did the fresh install i deleted everything you just mentioned, so there should be no reason the saves wont load. I'm not trying to play through the game with mods as it stands since i haven't beaten the dlc (which is why i decided on a fresh install in the first place)

I'm not running any mods, fresh install to a new HDD, cleared all my saves before re-installing, installed ENB gave it 8gb, fixed my ctd issue while trying to get to the main menu, but now none of my saves will load and clicking on the mods option instantly CTDs, loading any save itll try to load for ~15-20 seconds before CTD

I have disabled steam overlay and removed godrays, and it seems to have at the very least slowed down how often i crash, but its still a very frequent occurance. maybe after 3/4 times it will let me play. but there is still obviously something wrong here :I

Still confused why a fresh install still brings these issues

Using V0.283 gives me the same issue as v0.307 with the same settings

There are two more lines underneath the one about F4SE in my reply... I have installed ENBoost and followed the guide here (as the directions on the mod page were a bit confusing at first) and now it just locks to a black screen at startup when allocating 6144mb of ram in the enblocal.ini file

I havent tried launching through f4se since the issue started because i wanted a vanilla run through the dlc. so, seeing as this issue occurs even though a fresh install, im not entirely sure thas the issue, as ive ran FO4 with a GTX 640 without an issue on the base game.

There are no Strings/interface folders, as i have already deleted them before making this post as well as re-verifying my files multiple times afterward Edit: After re-verifying multiple times, making sure all of mods have been properly removed, i found this and followed these instructions (i did have a few mods left over in my loadorder and plugins.txt that i had removed/deleted from NMM earlier), and now anytime i load a save/start a new game i ctd, but loading to the main menu works fine. Edit2: I just completely uninstalled and removed my saves, re-installed and im still getting the same issue. I also know its not a hardware/driver problem Specs: I7-4930k 3.4GHz hex core GeForce GTX 950OC 4gb with latest drivers 16Gb RAM

im actually running without mods entirely right now, since i havent beat any of the DLC yet, id like to hold off on mods till i complete them. which is why im a bit confused on why im having these issues

So, before the dlc came out i was playing with a few mods (nothing too insane ex: spring cleaning and f4se) and i recently got the reason pass and got all of the dlc. Before installing the dlc i uninstalled all of my mods and deleted my saves. Now anytime i try to start the game i CTD. but if i keep persisting and going back trying to start again, i may get lucky and itll let me play. Is there any idea on why this is happening? Edit: i was able to play on my 4th try, but upon exiting the diamond city in i CTD Edit2: My issue seems to have been caused by f4se being out of date (i forgot to remove it) so anytime it tried to load a cinematic from your skills/perks it would crash Edit3: Some shipments and structures names have changed to "LOOKUP FAILED!" not entirely sure why

Never thought it would be SMIM but that seems to have been my issue, but i would like to use SMIM because it just makes everything look so much more immersive. Is there any way we can make that happen?

Fairly certain i do, i edited my skse file and bumped up the numbers to 4gb and 1gb if thats what your asking

Its a repeating issue even with a new game

My game will CTD anytime I am near whiterun, It will also give the giant outside of whiterun a weird bluish purple transparent overlay kind of like a spell or something (hard to explain, but its not a missing texture, just seems to change the colors) Specs: i7 4930k 3.4Ghz 16gb RAM GTX 950OC 6tb HDD (~4.5tb of free space) Modwatch Papyrus Logs How this issue evolved from here I contacted the mod author(s) of dyndolod on their forum and to me they came off as a bit rude, but it happens i guess. Here is what they said after reading how the issue evolved.
