  1. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35116//? http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41393/? enjoy,
  2. Was the worker following you? The only suggestion I could offer you is, disabling AP and any related AP plugins that require it. Start the game up and create a save so that the save game doesn't have AP in it. Close FO3, enable the AP and all associated files and see if that works. Of course doing this will make you completely lose your workers, but it might fix the bug where you can't hire vanilla companions. If you cannot hire any vanilla companion anymore I dunno. I was going to suggest maybe the vanilla companion mod that has no karma check, but that wouldn't do anything. I have experienced that AP worker bug where you fire him/her and it still recognizes that you have a companion. I stopped using that years ago for that reason. I dunno if there was ever a fix for it or not. Edit: Normally when ever I have a custom companion with me and I do the Tranquility Lane quest, I tell my companion to wait next to the simulator. If it's the Vault 82 GECK portion of the quest, I tell them to wait in Little Lamplight or somewhere safe in the vault since they tend to vanish when you are captured and taken to Raven Rock, and if it's the Project Purity starting up the Purifier I have my companion wait in the Citadel while I head to Jefferson Memorial with Liberty Prime. Might want to try that in a new game play if nothing else works. If you could manage a new game play without hiring any worker(s) up till the ending of the MQ and create a hard save then hire a worker and see if you can hire Fawkes or vice versa.
  3. Well the only fix for this is changing the file extension to a .esm. But after installing just the plugins and checking FOMM load order, SydneyFollower.esp file extension is already set to .esm. Does this only occur with her or all the female NPCs in the game? It could be a body texture mod you have installed for the females. I've experienced a few body textures that don't want to cope well with the head textures.
  4. I've been also experiencing the same problem for the last 3-4/5 days on FO3 Nexus and FNV Nexus. Opening Nexus main page, loading a mod page to downloading a mod from a link sever. However, the download delay only happened once. I thought it was my net, so I reset my cable modem (I downgraded my connection a few months ago and thought to myself it can't be kicking in now... especially this slow...). The delay congestion still persists. It's good to know that I'm not the only one in the black hole of nexus web rage. I seriously feel like I've gone back to the mid-late 90s 56k modem era.
  5. There are several ways of doing this. Doing it with console codes is never 100% accurate. With FO3Edit you can copy the hex values from Bumbles face geometry and symmetry. Sometimes the results are not 100%. It's only been unsuccessful with me once trying to port a face over from FO3 to FNV. Shouldn't be a problem here, though. Or you can Make it a preset through GECK. Edit: If you want, I'll go ahead and make you a plugin with her as a unique race and preset. Just PM me your email and i'll send you the archive once it's done.
  6. Check out this mod if you haven't. http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/9693/?
  7. If you are looking to collect some creepy dolls then check this mod out. http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16915/? it's not the same dolls but these are far more creepy.
  8. Simple. If you are referring to use throttlekitty's eyelashes just follow her tutorial and implement it into DC Delights. 1. Open GECK, clck on File > Data. Look for DC Delights.esp, enable it, check Set as Active File and then click OK. 2. On the left panel of GECK under Object Window expand the Actor Data tree and double click on Race. 3. Once you have Race window popped up, look for the DC Delights races. If I remember correctly, there are 4 races, so you'll have to apply the eyelashes to each race. 4. When you open one of the Delights race check Female on the bottom of that window. Then click on the Face Data tab above and this is where you will start implanting the lashes. 5. Once you have added all the meshes and textures that are applied to have the eyelashes, you can go ahead and click on File on the top left of GECK and then click Save. The esp file from Eyelashes Fallout 3 won't work with DC Delights because I believe that was made for the vanilla race? I never used that plugin, I did everything manually on my unique characters plugin. good luck :-) -tek
  9. My mistake... this is for skyrim. ignore
  10. Are you creating your own unique race for your character to have it's own meshes and textures?
  11. @IRUNMAIDEN @Philbur Before you go all out adding mods. You'll want to make sure Fallout 3 is running stable. Even the most powerful gaming rigs built will have FO3 CTD because it's just a buggy game. Modding FO3 will be an endless headache if you don't do this. But, never fear because setting it up right it can run really really stable. I recommend getting the following utilities and tools to help you get started before installing mods. GECK: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Main_Page FOSE (Fallout Script Extender) - http://fose.silverlock.org/ FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/640 or... (choose one only) NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/modmanager/ Archive Invalidation Invalidated - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/944 FO3Edit (pretty complicated to the new users but it's a nifty tool to open and help check load order errors for starters) - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/637 Fallout 3 Training Manual for FO3Edit - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8629 Unofficial Fallout 3: Patch: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/3808 Note: FOSE, Archive Invalidation Invalidated are two you are going to need. Most mods depend on these two utilities. Very easy to install. FOMM or NMM (which ever you prefer) will help you organize your Load Order, which is very important so do some research on that. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Performance: Fallout 3 Ram Boost (allows you to run FO3 with more than 2gigs of RAM) - http://modsreloaded.com/fo3-ram-boost Fake Fullscreen Mode Windowed - Alt+Tab Fix - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16001 or... (choose one only) Fake Fullscreen + FOSE with Steam (for Steam users) - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18909 Game Booster by IObit (Razor Game Booster now) - http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html (can be of great use) NOTE: I also highly recommend you install Fallout in your C: drive outside of Program Files to greatly help with stability and performance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The reason why I added the above is because, mods like Enhanced Rain & Weather or BA_Wasteland Restoration Mod (two really awesome mods) can reduce FPS performance. All ENB mods, which will significantly decrease FPS by 10+. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Weather/Lightning/Day/Night Sky/Stars Fellout: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/2672 F3 Project Reality MKI: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17418 Dynamic Weather: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/10607 Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow Hotfix v2: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6170 Landscape Overhaul Their World: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/13523 BA_Wasteland Restoration - a Green Mod: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16703 Greener World: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/2525 Summer 2.5: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/10100 Landscape, Object, Armor Re-texture Overhaul NMCs Texture Pack for FO3: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/12056 Both Male Female NPCs Hall of Face: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17199 Male Characters/NPCs Better Male Faces: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6037 Beards for Fallout: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18622 HQ Beards: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18806 Female Characters/NPCs Many Faces: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/16749 Those are just some I could think of. Just remember that when you install a mod don't install another mod that does the same thing. It will either override one or the other or cause a conflict. As for ENB mods. Just type "ENB" in the search engine and you should see them all. When you do finally get around to modding Fallout 3. Be sure to understand about proper Load Order and how it works so that your game doesn't CTD when trying to launch the game, There is no such thing as installing a mod wrong unless you forget to install the Meshes or Textures. However, incorrectly organizing mods in the Load Order can and will cause massive headaches. And not knowing why will probably discourage you to even keep trying. For a better understanding here's a guide: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/How_to_install_mods_for_Fallout_3 --------------------------- Good luck guys -teknikal
  12. I noticed you have a few plugins and masters wrong. I can point out a few things, but I don't use most of those plugins. StreetLights.esm <----- put it before BrokenSteel.esm DarNifiedUIF3.esp <------ i would keep this last on load order list FemaleEnclaveSoldiers - BrokenSteel.esp <----- enabled and far above the load order FemaleEnclaveSoldiers.esp <---- disabled and at the bottom of the load order For stability and performance... Read this: http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4865172/1/ Read & Use this: http://modsreloaded.com/fo3-ram-boost (make sure if you do use FO3 Ram Boost you create a back up of Fallout3.exe before initiating the instructions).
  13. I've been experiencing the same thing these past 3-4 days. Popping open Nexus has been a little slow but nothing over board. As for my downloads, they've maintained to stay accurate on speed. I just remembered it's been a bit since I ran ASC... *sweep sweep* time.
  14. There's always Feng Shui: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/11532 Check it out. -teknikal
  15. Well from the looks of it. You've reduced enabled plugins with a merged plugin so that's not the general case. However, I'm assuming you know exactly what mod(s) are giving the exclamation point? If not try to check. I'm more than certain what ever plugins you merged is the cause of missing mesh. It's tricky but there are certain plugins that are not too happy being merged and will cause this. Even if the meshes are in the directory of the game or in a bsa file. Edit: When you do find that exact mod(s) that has the missing meshes, try to re-create the merged plugin without that/those mod(s) included. Restore that mod's plugin and place it it the correct load order, Enable it and the evil exclamation point should be gone. -teknikal
  16. You are better off with the FNV - Ultimate Edition because there are a lot of mods that require DLCs. Even if you did buy the version without the DLCs you will end up buying the DLCs anyways. Better off buying the whole pack, which is much cheaper that way.
  17. As Werne mentioned. Sounds like you just installed Project Nevada through FOMM, but you forgot to activate it in Package Manager. Activating the FOMOD file will unpack the assorted Master File(s), Plugin(s) and the BSA files into the games directory and then should appear on the Load Order screen.
  18. Foremost, I want to apologize for another Thank You thread. The last one (and only other one I could find) seems to be very outdated back from in 2007 so here's a new one, and maybe a pinned one at that. Another thing I want to mention before I begin this is that I'm not a new member, I recently just had my old account removed because I never really liked my username. Now, onto what this post is about. I want to expressly just say thank you to the Dark0ne, the whole Nexus Team and the Nexus Community Members. It's because of everyone here that makes this site so successful the way it is. You've let me join a community without exceeding far too many restrictions (unlike some other sites that discourage new comers) other than following the simple rules from the TOS. I really appreciate that you guys are always active keeping things up-to-date. You offer a really nice web page easy to access around and making it stand out. Very unique and eye candy =P You aren't forcing people to post comments to remove restrictions to access more downloads. You know people do have lives and are not always on to post 10 comments daily in a pace to reach that download access. The number of members registered here in comparison speak out for themselves. And because Nexus isn't a leetist community, it's why Nexus rules over other communities. Not trolling, just laying down the simple facts. You can know for sure that if Nexus was ever in dire need of donations due to financial problems or general stuff like upgrading the site etc.. I would throw in my contribution without a hesitation. Sure, just like every community. We stumble on some bad seeds. We get trolls, but the crew is there to take immediate action to maintain this site a good community. The whole reason for this post was just to appreciate and show gratitude to everyone inside this community. From the Staff Members, Moderators, Authors who contribute from uploading mods, resources (tutorials, guides, modders resources, forum threads etc...) to the Members just posting positive feedback to the authors and giving them credit, kudos and endorsements where needed. Again Thank you Nexus Team and Community Members for everything that you guys have done and continue to do. I encourage others to post their gratitude and reasons. ;]
