How do i verify cache?

Is there a way to back up all of my other mods? and my save file? Edit: So after I back up my mods and save (if possible) and delete fallout new vegas folder as a whole, and then delete Fallout Mod Manager. Reinstall FalloutNV (copy n paste my old mods if possible / if not reinstall my mods) then reinstall FOMM. then Reinstall NMC Texture Pack? if it doesn't work through FOMM (activate invalidation invalidated) what do I use?

I figured out how to get around it saying it's only a Read.Me file. Right click on Fallout_Default click on properties and uncheck read.me only click ok. This should let you edit it and save no problems. I recommend putting it back to read.me only (im not tech savvy) because I don't know if that will cause any problems, If it isn't a read me only
