  1. Glad to see that your problem was solved, MJ. But unfortunately that's not my case - I have uGridstoLoad=5 all the time and I can't enjoy the game right now because of the crash, frezze all *$ like that. Even the "Quick Save" now is slow responding - before Dragonborn DLC it only took 1 second to do the quick save but now in Solsteim it took more than 5 seconds, and often the saves are 'corrupted' when load later!! I think I'll have to live with that because there won't be any 'official' fix. Really disappointed.
  2. I got the same problem. Got stuck and saw the same as what you saw except: my view (screen) is very very blurry! It feels like I forgot my glasses or there's a very dense fog. Actually, I can't even see my own face clearly. oh yes, the 'enableplayercontrols' console command worked for me but no matter how hard I rub my eyes I can't see anything clearly. :( Anyone had this problem? Any thoughts? (I have ENB's depth-of-field OFF) Thanks in advance! Found a fix from another site as: "The cutscene never really plays .However i found a solution for this problem:When you have to speak with Gjalund Salt-Sage type "setstage dlc2mq01 20" to skip the travelling part and then "movetoqt dlc2mq01"to teleport yourself to raven rock. After that you are able to continue perfectly normal with the main quest. The cutscene was definetly the problem here but i dont know why." Kudo to that guy who provided that fix. It worked out perfectly for me. I guess I'll worry about how can I get back to Skyrim later....

  4. I ran into the exact same issue days ago and can't even remotely figure out what the was going on, and pretty much decided I'll never set my foot onto Markarth - whatever the quest related there I'll just leave them alone. Then I found this thread. Man!! You guys are so wonderful!! [How on earth did you figure out that it was SFO caused this problem? That is beyond me but I LOVE you guys!]
