But why does this happen? Is uninstalling the problem mod really our only solution? I'm having the same problem with the Sofia follower mod and it really sucks because I really want her in my game! :(

Well I'm playing on Oldrim now. x3 I had SSE briefly, but I decided to uninstall it and go back to "Oldrim" because I didn't know how to add SKSE to SSE. Thanks for the help though, I think this topic could be closed now and I'd be fine with it because everything is working.

Yeah.. It turns out it was just one mod causing me all this trouble. It took me an hour of troubleshooting, but only the Sofia follower mod was causing me any troubles. That's funny though, because the developer specifically mentioned the fact that she doesn't require any other mods.

I think this is the reason I stopped playing Skyrim again. :/ I feel like I don't even have that many mods yet, but every time I try launching Skyrim (with or without Vortex), I can only describe it as crashing. Except it doesn't even open to begin with, to allow for a crash. I launch it, the cursor enters its loading state for a few seconds, and then it just stops. I know sending in a log or something would be useful, but I don't even know how to do that! I need some serious help, guys. I guess I can at least provide a list of plugins.. I hope that helps. I'm using the Project ENB and I think I did everything right, but this looks way too bright to me. Firstly, what do you think? And secondly, is there any way I can change that? All those screenshots are taken at minimum game brightness, by the way.

I figured that. And they probably thought the same thing I did. It's a really stupid question, so they probably thought it would be better to post here rather than in some general section and get ridiculed for it.

Aside from the initial scanning, of course. I'm not that new. The thing is, when I first got NMM, I only had one game. So, I only added that game and moved on. Now, all these years later, I finally got Fallout: New Vegas. So now, NMM isn't set up to handle NV mods and when I start it, it's automatically only my Skyrim mods. How do I add a new game when it's already been set up?

My SkyrimPrefs folder isn't there. ono

I'm not sure if "rendering issue" is the correct term to use for this, but it's the best I could think of. I'm not even sure if it's the mod or the ENB I also got for it, but either way, ever since getting it, I've been noticing far more than necessary focusing/blurring. In character creation, for instance. I find it difficult to create my character even when Skyrim Unbound doesn't open character creation with a damn helmet on because it gets so blurred out. I never had this problem before and I have no idea what's causing it. Can anyone help with that?

Perhaps you could help me then. I just installed a bunch of mods that are causing my game to crash on launch now. Rather than listing the mods word-for-word according to my horrible memory, I'll provide some screenshots. I've unchecked all the mods that I recently installed and I decided to show the entire window in case NMM has anything to do with this, which I imagine it would. Note: I actually have had Corpse Preparation installed for a while, it wasn't causing any issues. I've only unchecked it because I don't use that mod very much.

I thought that this should probably go in Mod Requests first.. But then I also thought that there might already be a mod that does this, so I figured here would be better. To provide more details, I use the My Little Pony mod whose mounts' AI is kind of.. Lacking, so to say. I was using AFT before which allowed you to make the ponies into followers, but it relies on using dialogue to recruit them and the ponies that I want to recruit have no dialogue, so I need a mod that makes them into followers more easily. No hate, please.

I just bought Skyrim today, mainly because I saw some of the awesome mods for it and wanted to check them out but I have no idea how to go about it. From the one mod folder I checked, I have a bit of an idea but I want to be sure first. And if anyone frowns on me only getting it for the mods, I said that's the main reason, not the only one. I know Skyrim's an awesome game on its own. Also sorry if there's a thread explaining this, I didn't see it though. If there is, just direct me to it and my apologies.
