Long War Developer Console not working
worldsoul15 replied to worldsoul15's topic in XCOM's Enemy Unknown
I am trying. I know I managed to get this to work once, but that was on a Mac. This time, I'm trying on a PC. I will look back through my post history to see If there's anything I can trace, though. Thanks for the advice! -
When I try to install the Developer Console for long war, nothing happens. I'm using the Beta 15c and later Dev Console file, as well as Long War 1.0, so I don't think it's a file mismatch. can anyone help me?

worldsoul15 replied to thither's topic in XCOM's Enemy Unknown
So, after obtaining sudo privileges and attempting the entire process again, I get this message: PinotGris:LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 noah$ sudo ./install-LW-OSX.sh sudo: unable to execute ./install-LW-OSX.sh: Operation not permitted PinotGris:LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 noah$ EDIT: After obtaining Admin privilege and using xattr -d com.apple.quarantine on the install file, I have successfully downloaded Long War! -

when I do that, I get this, which I tried before doing what I showed you: PinotGris:~ noah$ /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 -bash: /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4: is a directory So I don't know. On second thought, I derped the entry line. And, when I enter up to step 4 correctly, I get this again: PinotGris:~ noah$ cd /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 PinotGris:LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 noah$ ./install-LW-OSX.sh -bash: ./install-LW-OSX.sh: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: Operation not permitted PinotGris:LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 noah$ is it possible that the OS I'm using is not compatible with the installer script? I'm using OS 10.14.1 -

ah, thank you. Still get a problem. Now it shows this: PinotGris:~ noah$ /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4/install-LW-OSX.sh -bash: /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4/install-LW-OSX.sh: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: Operation not permitted PinotGris:~ noah$ At this point I'm half convinced the computer just hates me. -

When I start up Terminal and try step three, I get this message: -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline' My Terminal screen looks like this when I try step three, if it helps(I'm on a desktop): Last login: Thu Jan 24 11:25:26 on console PinotGris:~ noah$ cd </Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-4 > -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline' PinotGris:~ noah$ Note that I am using a Mac, not a Linux, when I'm doing this. EDIT: Is it possible that the unzip program I'm using isn't unzipping the files completely? -

Terminal doesn't open. It just says that the file is corrupted and should be moved to trash. After downloading a new copy of Long War, I get this message a couple times before Terminal starts refusing to even open due to file corruption: Last login: Wed Jan 23 16:50:18 on ttys000 /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-3/install-LW-OSX.sh ; exit; PinotGris:~ noah$ /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-3/install-LW-OSX.sh ; exit; -bash: /Users/noah/Downloads/LW-EW-Linux-OSX-v1_0-3/install-LW-OSX.sh: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: Operation not permitted logout Saving session... ...copying shared history... ...saving history...truncating history files... ...completed. Deleting expired sessions...none found. [Process completed] Hope that helps -
