  1. In response to post #51896782. #52031862, #52331778, #52333063, #52335458 are all replies on the same post. Oh, sorry not mad. Annoyed maybe. I think going dark and then saying everyone is committed to something else isn't the best way to transition. I just quit playing FO4 which is the only thing I needed NEXUS for and went back to playing ESO at Zenimax. They bury you with information to keep you interested.
  2. Seems they have forgotten the users in the transition to the NEW site. No updates for over a month is ridiculous.
  3. If you just want to keep settlements 'happy' and productive, here's some guidelines. This is based on my own 1200+ hours of play. All settlers need to be assigned to a task and a bed or they will not contribute to the % rate. Check the settlement at 2:00am to see if anyone is standing around. If so assign them to a bed. Keep in mind that provisioners and guards require a bed, but never use it. Beds also have to be under roof. Between 8:00am and 6:00pm check to make sure they are all 'busy'. You can check their assignment in workshop mode. There are also some mods that can help with this. Put the bar (restaurant) in an area large enough to accommodate all the settlers between 6:00 and 9:00pm. Everyone needs to have some happy time. If they won't fit in one area, setup another one and they will split. There should be at least one level III restaurant, doctor, and trader. They all contribute to the happiness total gain. Armor, weapon and clothing vendors do not contribute. Make sure all public areas and living areas are well lit with plenty of lights, but not sleeping areas. Generators and turrets need to be away from living quarters. Don't put turrets on top on the building. Paintings in living areas helps. Music radio in work areas, jukebox in food/bar area helps. Attacks will kill happiness fast. Make sure the defense is at least twice the total of food + water. Because of this, don't overdue water. If you still get attacks, move the defenses closer to the attack spawn points so most of the attackers are killed before you get back to the settlement. Also make sure the settlers are all armed, doesn't take much, but should be decent. They only need 1 round for the weapon they are using. So if they have a mini gun or missle launcher, they won't use up any ammo. Not sure if the 'Bed Bug' has been fixed in 1.5. If it occurs, you need to get back to the settlement asap. It will cut happiness as much as 50% if you don't get back within 24hours. Look for the warning sign in your pipboy under the data / settlements tab. Make sure to complete any settlement quests. This should keep the settlement at 80-85 % when you aren't there.
  4. Thanks a lot. I was having a similar issue (mods disabled after exiting FO4) and this worked for me. File sync is definitely causing this. My loadorder.txt didn't match the plugins.txt file either. All mods added since the 1.5 update weren't in the loadorder.txt file. I edited them to match. When I checked the load order in the mods tab of the game, none were checked. Checked the all in game, shut everything down (FO4 NMM), restarted and everything matched and loaded. I haven't had any issues since, BUT I haven't made any changes either.
  5. If you are using a scrapping mod, they cause that effect when you are in an area that a large object was scrapped, the game loads the wrong mesh. Try this edit in Fallout4.ini. [Display] bUsePreCulledObjects=0
  6. Have same issue with version 61.20. Whenever a new mod is installed, or I change the load order, and start the game from NMM, I get the mods are missing notification from FO4. When I check plugins in NMM, they are all selected. However, when I close NMM and restart it, the plugins are all disabled. The only thing I can do is recheck all 112 plugins. Not fun.
  7. Yes, thanks. Have found two copies, at lvl 25 but no unlock.
  8. I was going to put up a nice picket fence around one of the settlement Mutfruit fields and discovered that the picket fences menu isn't there. I have junk fences, wire fences, and chain link, but no picket. I had already disabled the 'Settlement Keywords' mod because it blocked the Store menu. Anyone know of a fix for this issue?
  9. In response to post #11716517. Your suggestions gave me a clue and I found my issue. Norton I.S. was hung on an update and was blocking external com except for I.E. Soooo, NMM couldn't connect to the server.
  10. In response to post #11712920. #11713826 is also a reply to the same post. Looking at all the forums and posts, I don't think he's the only one. I haven't been able to connect to the login server since I was forced to update to 47.1 yesterday afternoon, although I can log in to the website without any issue. I've uninstalled, re-downloaded, and re-installed 47.1 four times. Now all I can do is wait till someone figures out there's a problem.
  11. So now we have a version that you can't log in with.....that will fix the download problem for sure.
  12. Version 47.1 won't connect to logon server for validation. NO MOD Downloads.
