  1. By the way, LOOT doesn't seem to be allowing me to reorder those files either at least not for Vortex which now makes sense but I would like to rearrange where BlueprintShips-Starfield.ESM is loaded and I can't. The game has it loading after Starfield.esm but before any of the other base game files. This is fine?
  2. So it's normal then?! I see, only the mods you install are managed by Vortex. And it's specific to Starfield. I had a feeling that might be the case since my other modded games like Skyrim SE and FO4 still show a plugin section where the games base files are managed by Vortex. Thanks for the clarification Picky.
  3. I started with a Clean Install of Starfield, open Vortex and went to the "load orders" section where all the game's ESM's are showing as "not managed by Vortex". Same after installing a few mods although the mods show as being managed by Vortex
  4. Which is exactly what I do. My question is if there's an actual number or a formula based on size of load order. I write many modding guides and if there's an answer other than "try to limit the number of times you use it" I'd like to be able to provide that answer to users. Probably a question best answered by one of the developers or maybe someone who has used this feature extensively, or is familar with it. I do appreciate the response.
  5. Question for Zanderat or Picky, or Tannin, I too use the file overrides that you screen grabbed. How often or how many instances in a load order do you utilize this feature? I ask because there's a note within Vortex to limit how often you use it which I do but I guess my question is to what extent, or is there a guideline for this? I also get this question from users so a better answer would be appreciated. Thanks
  6. Already my favorite thread. Thanks picky.
  7. Avrie is on the right track. I was going to ask for a better search in CK like If you want to just look at the added contents of a plugin rather than to load up xEdit. But yeah what Avrie said.
  8. Please fix this as I do not want to pay with paypal.
  9. In response to post #75822968. #75827368, #75827573, #75828433 are all replies on the same post. So is anyone from Nexus going to advise by replying here on this matter/post?
  10. Oh I have not tried to log out again because when I went to settings to reset my password it would not recognize my password so after 2 tries I stopped.
  11. So I just now logged out of Nexus and when I clicked the "Log in" link I was asked if it was ok for Nexus to access my account, I said yes and clicked the log in and was immediately logged in. My question is; is that how it works?
  12. oops I forgot to mention I did manage my original problem of updating the rollback. I did so many things after that update that I forgot how all this started. I just hit the button in steam that says to check for integrity.
  13. OK so it turns out loverslab/sexlab was the culprit. Had to grab the new version and all is well now. Also, I was about to start a new game anyway (that's why I didn't update in the first place). BUT, as I was searching through all the google results for my same issue and also reading those forums I saw that many were having the loverslab issue not to mention issues with the Skyrim update for various mods/reasons. What I learned, and many of you may know this but for those who don't; there is something called 'invisible saves' (which of course "can" lead to problems). To find out if you have them; I opened Skyrim SE via SKSE and deleted all my saves (like I said I was about to start a new game anyway & if your not you can back them up in a new folder which I did just in case I messed something up) I deleted them right from the start screen where Mods, Creation Club & all that jazz is. Then I closed it completely. Then open Skyrim SE through steam and do the same thing and yes I found some saves in there. Then close it completely. Then you go to your game folder in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves I found a bunch of Auto saves and an empty folder so I made a new folder in the Skyrim Special Edition folder and named it Previous Saved Games and moved all those saved files into that folder thus leaving the Saves folder completely empty. Then I started my game as usual through SKSE and I started a new game with all my mods (over 300 in place). Also because of the Skyrim Special Edition update not only do you have to update SKSE if you use it but all of the mods that use SKSE that also updated (and there are plenty). If you use Vortex like me (I love it but still learning) when you run "Check for Updates" on your mods ALL the updates won't show so you have to go to the Nexus mod page and check yourself. For example the mod "Simply knock" will not show and I saw messages from people who use other mod managers that it did not work for them. (I also saw a Vortex user and a MO or NMM user that knew how to add a text file so their Mod installers would catch the update. But that's another story. By the way, as far as the save thing I usually turn off all the Auto Save options in my game but I did turn them on for while in that last playthrough. Finished the game at level 82 with over 300 mods though. Maybe all this doesn't belong here but I saw so many with these issues that I thought I would share what I learned and in fact is now working perfectly for me 10 saves into a new game.
  14. I'm new to Nexus forums so not even sure if I should post this here. But here goes: A few weeks ago I rolled back my Skyrim SE because of the SKSE update (1st time I ever did that) but I did not save my exe. Today I updated SKSE, Add Item, and a few other mods. Anyway now the game launches through SKSE but I still have old version of Skyrim SE running and I can't figure out how to update it. My game runs but not all mods just most. Game asks for v1.9.32 & I am running 1.5.80.0, and can't figure out how to update for the life of me. I did set Skyrim SE to auto update on Steam. I'm trying NOT to uninstall everything and re-install but I will if I must. (I run Windows 10 and use Vortex). I would greatly appreciate any help.
  15. Love this idea. Made the jump from console to pc about a month ago for several reasons one being I love taking screenshots in a heavily modded skyrim. Even though I have a lot to learn (I'm learning with vortex) I look forward to all the screenshots. I love taking them though but have a ways to go until I can even make them as nice as my console shots were. This is cool.
