  1. Simple: When you drop something from your inventory onto the ground, instead of simply falling to the floor, it shoots off in a random direction at high speeds, as if it had been fired with Telekinesis. Not intended to be used for serious gameplay, but it'd be funny. Credit to Homestuck for the idea.
  2. I'm looking for a mod or combination of mods that does two things. First, I'm looking for something that can split apart a single multi-effect potion into multiple single-effect potions. Second, I'm looking for something that can combine potions with the same effect into fewer, stronger potions. I'm happy with any combination of existing mods, freshly written mods, or pointers on how to write such a mod myself. I think I understand enough few of the basics of the Creation Kit such that I could make a mod that can take, say two Potions of Minor Healing and make them into a Potion of Healing, but I've not done any scripting yet.
  3. We've all played Skyrim and thought things like "I'd really like to condense this potion into a lighter form" or "I'd like to combine two potions together like a mad scientist" or "I keep making weapon poisons that heal the target too". These could be solved if the Alchemy Lab had additional functionality, similar to a chemical laboratory. New Functions: Distill: Take a potion with more than one effect and distill it into separate potions for each effect. Due to the heating involved and the loss of volatile fractions, a small penalty is subtracted from the strength of each effect. That is, potion AB > potion A + potion B. Concentrate: Take two potions and combine them into one. Their effects add, but suffer a small penalty due to evaporating the excess water to get the weight of only a single potion. That is, potion A + potion B > potion AB. Dilute: Take a single potion and split into two, each half as strong. No penalty, since you're just adding water. That is, potion A > potion a + potion a, or potion AB > potion ab + potion ab. Brew: Why limit yourself to potions? Turn certain ingredients into alcoholic beverages. Start your own microbrewery! Vodka from potatoes, perhaps?
  4. Short: I would like to have some farmland I can own to grow crops and alchemy ingredients on. Long: In Hearthfire, the ability to grow your own crops and alchemy ingredients was introduced, with the "Fertile Soil" found in homestead gardens and greenhouses. I find it pleasant to be able to grow my own plants, especially ones I find difficulty obtaining easily or in quantity. As such, I've fully utilized all the plots in my houses, yet would like to have more space to grow a greater variety of plants. As such, I'd like to have a plot of land I could buy, perhaps in Rorikstead, that has a number of these "Fertile Soil" plots on them. Maybe they could be arranged in rows to make planting and harvesting easier, rather than the haphazard homestead gardens. Maybe a generic farmhouse too, like one of the little cookie cutter ones they have all over the place, that I could rest in and store stuff. I yearn for the peaceful agrarian lifestyle.
  5. Simply put, a spell that when cast causes unmined ore veins to become highlighted, even through obscuring objects. The spell Detect Ore would be similar to the spell Detect Life or the shout Aura Whisper, in that it applies a glowing particle effect to the appropriate objects that can be seen through any walls or barriers that may be in the way. Preferably it would have a casting time and a duration of effect similar to Aura Whisper, rather than having to be concentrated on like Detect Life. The objects affected would be ore veins that have ore remaining in them. Only veins in loaded cells that are within a certain radius of the casting location would show up. This spell would make it easier to get all the ore mined from within a dungeon, and make outdoor mining expeditions feasible. One cast in one spot is bound to highlight a vein or two somewhere outdoors, and you can venture towards its location. After mining it, you cast again and locate another one. I'd really like to see such a mod, so please post here if you make it!
