  1. The issue is this: I was playing DAO as usual, then I got a message about a server connection error, but kept playing anyway. Later, when the connection was reestablished. I returned to camp and saw Levi Dryden standing at his usual point proposing me to do the Soldier's Peak quest, that I have already completed. Also, the dialogue with Shale was reset to the stage when you had to say the code word to activate her. Apparently, all the DLC quests were reset to their beginning stage. The journal tells me those quests are finished, yet, when I talk to either of the characters the quests are reset to the very beginning. Is there a way to fix this? Perhaps, a console command to force-finish those quests? I have the Steam version of the game.
  2. Weird, there's something with Oblivion that was conflicting with my system because uninstalling Oblivion cured it for the other games. What could it be?
  3. I've tried everything you said, but the problem persists. Guess Ill just go and buy new hardware then...
  4. Nope, didn't have it before, Oblivion ran perfectly well, then one suddenly it started rebooting. There's nothing major i did, it just, you know, started doing it.
  5. No, those games aren't "special" in any meaning you may imply. My voltage is fine, I guess. Electricity in my home was never a problem. Is there any way to check it?
  6. Hiya, folks. Since roughly month ago my Oblivion (even with a clean install, i.e. no mods) and few other games started to randomly reboot my system. I've tried everything I could think of, but to no avail. My specs: Windows Vista Ultimate x32 SP1 An ASUS motherboard (no idea which model is that) Intel Core 2 Duo GeForce 8800 GTS 512 4 GB RAM Creative Soundblaster Xi-Fi Here's what I tried: *Reinstalling Windows. Two times. No result. *Checking if this is overheating. Nope. Temperature of all the parts is way below critical. I even removed the side panel of my computer case and to cool the room with air conditioning. Still the same reboot. *Virus scan. Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 found nothing. *Turning off autorebooting on system failures. No, sir, no fixing the problem for you. *Updating drivers on everything. Didn't help. Any suggestions?
