  1. Count me in! I've been looking for a mod exactly like this. Femboys Forever!
  2. Resurrecting this dead thread to hopefully re-vitalize this idea. If anyone is still interested in this I'd be happy to list potential places for skill checks. The first that comes to mind are the ones surrounding the repair liberty prime. I'd love to have more dialogue that makes it seem like my character knows what the heck is going on. With enough intelligence and the robotics expert perk, you should be able to bypass a lot of the fetch quests by coming up with alternate solutions. I remember in New Vegas, for example, how you can fix the Boomer's rebreather without gathering materials. All you have to do is pass a skill check, and your player comes up with a creative solution to fix it that doesn't require any complex materials. There are countless examples in Fallout 4 where similar skill checks would be welcome, and I'm willing to compile a list if anyone is willing to build a mod around it.
  3. That could be it then! Weird since there's no other problems with my game and it runs fine, but I do have a s*** ton of mods. This has never happened before though and I think I've gone over before. Could there be any other reason for this? Either way I'll turn some stuff off and see if this works. Thanks! Edit: Yup, that was the problem. I turned off some mods I didn't need and everything is working now!
  4. This is just bizarre, and it started just a few days ago. So, sometimes when I download a new mod and try to load up a save or start a new game, I get that classic "content missing" error. You know, the one that happens when you accidentally turned off a mod? Well, the weird thing is that every single esp and esm is apparently off. Even Skyrim.esm. Here's the kicker though: it's lying. In mod organizer, every file I need to be on is on, and the moment I turn off the mod I just downloaded everything is back to normal. This seemingly happens at random. Since it started it's happened more often than not, but sometimes things just go back to normal on their own, and I can download and use mods normally. I don't see any pattern in the mods I'm downloading, and I'm wondering what could be causing such a strange error to happen in the first place. Here are the mods I've tried to download that have caused this issue: -Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (successfully downloaded now) -Realistic AI Detection (successfully downloaded now) -Become a bard (still causing the problem) -Investment Price Configuration (successfully downloaded now) -Trade and Barter (successfully downloaded now) -Schools of the Hold (stil causing problems) -Religion (still causing problems) Between these mods listed there were maybe one or two that never gave me any problems. So yeah, does anyone know what the heck is happening?
  5. Balgruuf was actually to be replaced by his brother, who has some of the same dialogue files as him. If it was fully implemented nothing would've broken.
  6. I was searching for a mod for this and this was the first thing that came up. Was surprised no one made a mod for this yet. I'd love to be able to draw and switch my weapons faster for some more tactical gameplay. I don't need nor want it to be instant, but your character just looks so sluggish and bored when he draws his weapons even in the heat of combat.
  7. I have mod organizer in my steam folder, which is in program files (x86). I suppose that could be part of the problem? I am running in administrator mode, but does that mean I also have to select "run as administrator" whenever I boot up MO? Thanks for all the help by the way!
  8. Thanks for the reply! Turns out I sort of solved the problem. It seemed like an issue with mod organizer where it wasn't reading all of my saves in my document folder (which is odd because I didn't even know mod organizer could control your saves like that). I tried fiddling with the profile options and eventually just manually moved the saves I wanted from my documents folder into the mod organizer folder. Everything is working fine now, but I have no idea how this happened and how to stop it from happening in the future. Thoughts?
  9. This literally just started an hour ago. I haven't installed any new mods or fiddled with anything. It seems, all of a sudden, that my autosaves completely vanished. Upon further investigation, I realized that ALL of my new saves were being removed. There seems to be a bizarre pattern behind all this. I can overwrite one save and create one new save, but if I try to create another, or overwrite one, then the previous one will either disappear or the new one just own't show up in my save list. The weirdest part is that all of my saves are appearing in my documents file as though nothing is wrong. You can see all of the saves that "vanished", including the new ones I've been making but haven't been able to access in game. I've tried freeing up space, I've tried shutting off steam sync, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this bizarre problem? Is there any solution? Edit: Also, I should note that mod organizer is missing my saves as well. They still appear in my documents file, however. Edit: And now I can't even start the game without a CTD. What the hell is happening? This has never happened before.
  10. Hi guys! I seem to be having an incredibly bizarre problem and I can't for the life of me figure out a solution. Seemingly at random, certain mods I'm installing simply wont be added to my plugin list. At first this was an issue with a particular mod from loverslab I was trying to download. I transferred everything normally, FNIS recognized the mod was in the right place, and yet no matter what I did it would not show up in my plugin list. I tried using the "add mod from file" option, but even after I add the particular esm, it still wont show up. I simply receive an error in the download manager telling me that the mod "Cannot be added". Now, at first I thought this was a specific problem with the mod I was using, but now the problem seems to be happening at random, even from mods downloaded from the nexus. As a test, I tried using the "Add mod from file" option with random, working mods that are already properly installed and functioning. Even some of THOSE mods gave me the "x cannot be added" error. This is getting bizarre. I tried posting this to the loverslab forums back when I thought the problem was specific to their mods, and they seem to be absolutely baffled over there as well. Now that the issue seems to be specific to Nexus Mod Manager, I'm coming here to try and figure out a solution. I genuinely appreciate any and all advice you could give me, and thanks in advance!
  11. Anyone have any idea what's going on? It's very strange and just seems to be affecting this one plugin.
  12. Hi there! I downloaded a mod and it's not showing up under "plugins" on nexus mod manager. It's an esm and I extracted it to my skyrim's data folder. I tried extracting it the same way I always do, and I also tried extracting directly to nmm's mod folder, and it's not showing up under any circumstances. Does anyone know what's going on here? I'd greatly appreciate some help. Thanks in advance!
  13. So there's no way to make the game automatically recognize my character as a different race? I have to add in everything manually?
  14. I'm sorry, I'm really new to altering my game in any way. I mostly just download mods. Do you have any more specific details on how to accomplish this? I'm looking at the races in the creation kit right now and I haven't seen anything stick out to me. Thanks for your help!
