  1. Bug Day 2. Seems to affect races differently... Redguards have half-bodies like that, Dunmer aren't affected, and khajiit and nords are full vanilla body.
  2. Okay. So, been playing Skyrim for ages. Recently had to troubleshoot and reinstall, but it was working fine for a week or two now, then I get the weirdest glitch all of a sudden-- I kill a necromancer and remove her robe. (new character, gotta get that really basic enchantment off it). She is wearing the default underwear on top, and has no legs. My body of choice is a UUNP body based off of UN7B. The only mods I've added besides this are male-related SOS( due to a Witcher set requiring it, and being one of the few sets with standalone pants for men), a Witcher Set (I don't have the link to it, or even know what it looks like. I just use the pants), and a homemade mod that adds a robeless sash based off the Apprentice Mage set. This is for both genders, but having built it myself and used it before for many ears, I know it's not the issue. So I do some tinkering--First I try simply re-installing my bodyslide, then remove some of my more recently installed mods, relating to default vampire appearances(so I figure it might modify default appearances of non-vampires somehow?), and then the above mentioned mods. But neither attempts seem to fix it. At most I managed to get her legs to reappear. But her body is still default. It's a t this point that I also check female PCs and they also have the issue. I notice that the texture is a bit off at this point too; more freckles than the texture I have applied. When Googling I found info that says Custom Races could cause issues, so I uninstall it just to be sure. Still no fix.
  3. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the assistance, but I gave up and re-installed. I don't know what caused it to this day, as when I slowly readded anything, nothing went wrong.
  4. Not in Program Files. I move all my single player games into my larger E: drive. Still going to tinker with this because FNIS was having issues...
  5. I use the updated original NMM. I use Legendary Edition, and only 3 files were installed when I verified. Sorry, been without internet for a while due to a move... As for the CTD, I have checked and made sure that mods aren't causing it-- I disabled all ESPs/ESMs except for base game and DLCs. Something aside from that is causing the issue, as I had originally expected.
  6. We have a misunderstanding, the texture files aren't part of the problem. The textures I mentioned are a reason I'm trying to avoid reinstalling to fix this CTD. As for cleaning the Update and DLC masters, I have no idea how to do that, so I haven't done it before. I don't know what those 3 textures are either. But yes, I did verify integrity of the files and after that I started having CTD issues. I don't know why, because I'm aware that it shouldn't cause any issues when I verify.
  7. Please help. I can't really play Skyrim until I get some help on this, because I quite frankly don't want to reinstall.
  8. (Accidentally posted this in the wrong forum, so I'm reposting it here and I'll have the other one deleted.) So, my Skyrim has decided to poop out on me. Two nights ago, when I went to log in to Skyrim, I had a slight UI bug causing a $ to appear before the first letter of the words in the menu and on the word Level on load files. I.E, $New Game, $Continue, $Load, $Credits, $Quit, "... $Level 11...". So I went to the internets to figure out how to fix it. All the forums I went to said to verify integrity of local files. I was wary about doing this, because I have a vague recollection of having to do that before and it didn't work out well. I looked up whether or not it would mess with my mods, The people on reddit, here, steam, etc. (That I could find at least) more or less had a consensus that it couldn't possibly do so. So I did that. Now I can't open any of my old saves or start a new game, as it results in an immediate CTD. I have done everything I can think of so far-- running the base Skyrim to let it fix my settings, running LOOT to make sure my load order was working, carefully looked through my modlist for missing dependencies (there was a mod that was mistakenly enabled with a dependency I don't have, but I disabled it and it's still broken)Checking FNIS-- this threw up an error, but I'm not sure what it means. "Error 2021 Language file(s) missing in Data\Tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\languages OR wrong generator path: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users" So, does anyone know what that FNIS error means, and if/when that does not fix it, does anyone know what might? 99% sure it's not a load order issue because I had this same load order the last time I played Skyrim on 3/30/2022 (according to my last save file), and I even went so far as to remove the mods I had downloaded then to make sure they hadn't done something somehow since the last time I played. Please help. I'm trying to avoid a complete restall because of a specific configuration of texture mods I use that I forgot how to replicate... It would destroy a character I've had since 2016.

  10. Hello! I was working on a pair of outfit swaps from Fallout 4, turning the Spearhead Catsuit (NSFW LINK https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22058) into the Ranger Armor outfit from Fallout 1st and the default Vault Suit-- Turning the No Bracer version into the Ranger Armor, and the Skimpy version into the Vaultsuit. I managed to get the meshes to work, but I don't have the proper understanding nor tools to switch over the textures-- if the NIFs I created using my bodyslide are needed.
  11. What would that do to my mods? Would it delete all the ESPs and all that? I've got countless mods that I don't even know where I got them from, and probably won't find again, even if they are still on the Nexus... Will it delete ESPs at all? Or for that matter, modded folders? Got a couple extra meshes that I created, such as a special Dwarven armor that occupies an extra slot so that I can wear it on top of a modified version of Dwarven Cyborgs to make it less skimpy.
  12. I just removed all my mods. Still not working. Grehhhhhh. Also ran verifcation again, no dice. Ran without SKSE, no dice.
  13. No issues, as far as too many animations. I have too many PCEA2 folders, but it's been angry about that for years and I've never had any issue with it. Like I said in OP, this came out of the blue after returning from Oblivion... could the mod manager (NMM, not the new one) have done this somehow? I have no missing masters, For the actual readout, here you go anywho.
  14. I checked for that-- No missing master, and Legendary Edition. Ran LOOT and manually pored over the mod list on NMM. This is why I figured, as I stated, that it's not a mod thing.
  15. Greetings. Recently, I've been playing Oblivion, but after getting an idea for a melee wabbajack build, I decided to boot up Skyrim. So I switch my Nexus Mod Manager's game profile over to Skyrim, boot it up through SKSE, and then log in to find a bunch of $ signs next to the login options. So I look up a search for this, and find it relatively easily-- go to steam and verify integrity of files. So I do so, then try logging in. Now, whenever I do so, be it to load a game or start a new one, I CTD before the loadscreen loads. I cannot find any fix for this, as searching "CTD after verification" only returns results of "CTD, so you should verify" not any solutions for me. I have many, many, many mods but I doubt any of them are doing this because I had these mods before, and had them working fine before going off to play Oblivion. EDIT: Tried running Skyrim without SKSE because I thought that might be an issue, no dice. What's the issue?
