  1. The image is not loading for me; however, if you have a save of your character prior to using the bashed patch, you could use the import face feature to your saved game and see if that works for you.
  2. The entry from his log file reads (used control+f to find it): The first problem with this is that steam is located in program files, which in windows vista and up, is controlled by UAC (User Access Control). UAC prevents modification to files in protected folders which seriously hampers the ability to mod Oblivion. What you'll want to do is move Oblivion to a different non-protected folder such as C:\Games\Oblivion to prevent UAC from interfering. To do that, visit this link: https://www.techspot.com/article/1429-move-steam-game-library/ With that said, I don't know the reason why it wouldn't load unless the download was corrupted for some reason(aside from UAC). In that case you could try to download menuque to a different folder to make sure you don't get a corrupt copy. You can use a hash tool to compare the hashes to make sure you got a valid copy of the file: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/free-hash-checkers-file-integrity/
  3. You can find more information in you obse.log files directly under the Oblivion folder as that shows what OBSE plugins Oblivion is loading. If there are any errors, they would be located there.
  4. I can think of some windows issues that might pose a problem: In the volume mixer, Oblivion/headphones might be set to a lower volume than normal. Also, you want to check under your playback devices/sound in the control panel to make sure you don't have any odd enhancements that would drown out the sound, such loudness equalization or some other setting. Also, I don't suppose you are having this issue anywhere else on that pc? Also, if you have any audio codecs installed it will probably cause problems with Oblivion sound since they do not play nice together. You'll want to check your installed programs in the control panel to see if you have any those installed.
  5. Dialogtweaks is probably the culprit. Under Data\Ini look for Dialog TFR costs.ini and open it. Find the line, 'set TrespassDialogRestore to 1' and set it to 0. Save, and exit the file.
  6. You can find out where he is by using the console. Type "player.moveto 3a98" or move him to your location by typing "prid 3a98" to select Velwyn Benirus and then "moveto player" should he be stuck somewhere. Occasionally, NPCS glitch out of existence from our viewpoint but are still where they need to be. In this case type "update3d" when the refID (3a98) is selected in the console. For the quest marker use "sqt MS02" in the console and the game will print out the quest target. Also, take a look at the UESP page if you are still having troubles: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Where_Spirits_Have_Lease
  7. Some ideas: - Melisande and/or the members of the Order of Virtuous Blood could probably benefit from making and selling cure vampirism potions, having you collect the ingredients. It might be a bit complicated if Seridur were the leader though. - Horse stableboys/gals could ask for pelts or leather to create saddles and ask for general supplies for horses such as food and straw etc. If wild horses appeared in-game, they could have you tame them and lead them to the stables. - Some npcs could ask for flower ingredients to put at gravesites or materials to restore areas affected by oblivion gates (shovels, hoe, ingredients, etc.) - Scholars may need escorts to study various things in cyrodiil (wildlife, ruins, daedric shrines, etc.) - Npcs may ask for quills and parchments to write books. - Some nobles (such as in Cheydinhal) may send you to obtain new clothes for them to wear to parties. - Traveling npcs may ask for escorts to get to where they are going. - Blacksmiths may ask for metal to melt down for smithing. - Mages may ask to deliver enchanted items to their customers (similiar to skyrim). - Innkeepers could ask for food, wine, or entertainment and possibly offer free food, wine and/or a stay at the inn depending on the quest received. - Some items need to peform the black sacrament for npcs. - Priests could ask for healing potions and such. Some of them could have the background for it and others secret (such as the black sacrament). Of course, you wouldn't actually see the aftermath for those that have a background like the graveyard one, but it does fit nicely for backstory and such.
